Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
About a month ago we challenged you guys to design the next level of TSTO with our Whole ‘Nother Level Contest and WOW did you guys respond! We were COMPLETELY blown away by your submissions! Bunny, Wookiee and I then read each and every one of your entries over and over, trying hard to narrow it down to the finalists. You guys had such AMAZING ideas and it was nearly impossible to narrow it down, but we finally picked 15 finalists. Then we left it up to you guys, the AMAZING Addicts Community to vote for your favorite and pick the winner.
Well the votes have been cast and the totals are it…and all we can say is you guys had as hard of a time picking a winner as we did picking the finalists! It was an insanely close battle!

It’s wonderful to have won. I really needed the morale boost just now. I was beginning to feel like no one likes any ideas I have lately; it’s so nice to have so many vote for my level, even without the little level up screen I came up with. It must have gotten clipped off the doc file when I emailed it, somehow.
Anyway, thanks to all who voted, and I loved many of the other submissions, myself.

I love the Sideshow Bob level! U have to do it in a later level. It’s pure genius. Please give us who play Sideshow Bob and The Cape Feare event. Please!

(I just hope that EA doesn’t stay away from these ideas thanks to their legal department now that we’ve posted them & instead embraces some of the kick-a$$ ones that won)
On the off-chance that EA asks, yes, they may use my idea for the Springfield Fire Department — the idea came from the show itself with only a few tasks that are original content, so have at it guys and gals of EA!!!!

I am sooo glad that the Simpsons Files episode ranked 2nd. I don’t usually spend money on premium characters but I would pay extreme amounts of money to have any of the stuff the MoooneyFamily came up with. I currently have 888 donuts and I would pay all of them to have Mulder and Scully in my Springfield. Get on it EA!!! 🙂
I’m a Freemium player but I would totally shell out money for Special Agent Dana Scully. Hear the EA? Get the rights, I’ll pay!

I am Extremely thankful that I was even chosen as a finalist. looking back had i spent more time on developing the story lines for my characters instead of just giving a summary i might have not have had a case of Couldas wouldas shouldas.

Woo! Thanks to everyone who voted for my Futurama idea! I was on vacation the entire weekend, and I didn’t even know I was nominated until last night, so this is a huge surprise! I’ll have to read everyone else’s entry as soon as I have time!
I hope that prize winners can submit ideas for the next version of this contest next time too. I’m already thinking up other ideas! Even if we can’t, I’ll probably still write it up for fun.
I wonder if the Tapped Out creative team is planning to incorporate a true Futurama/Simpsons crossover in the game when the episode comes out in the Fall and if they look at fan ideas like these. One can dream!

I couldn’t agree more! Although I was hoping to place, the other finalists were amazing! I was happy to be a finalist and I had fun drawing up a new level. I’m already thinking of a new one for next time!

(Oh and for the record: I wrote two entries and submitted one. The other was for a KrustyLand level. Something unheard of, save that they went ahead and actually did a Krustyland level lol)
86 votes for me, and very few of them were actually me! (1 to be specific)! I may not have won a prize, but to finish 7th overall makes me very proud. Trillspots deserves the win, their entry was great. I was certain the Futurama one was going to win just because it was Futurama – and it was Futurama done well.
I would still really like to see a Blame-o-matic machine in the Simpsons, and also Herbert, Mona and Jacquelline in Tapped Out.
