In honor of our blogiversary we ask you guys last week to tell us a little more about yourselves. We wanted to learn more about who you guys are & what your tapping habits are & we wanted you guys to learn more about each other! (we did this for our 6 month blogiversary too!) And, as always, you guys came through and we learned some interesting facts about you!
We were completely blown away by the number of responses we received to the poll & even more blown away by the stats! So I’ve been tinkering away the last few days compiling all of the data and putting it all into fun graphics and charts & now the time has come to share those results with you! So let’s break it all down shall we?

It’s a joke here because we say Bunny’s locked in the basement…so tapping on the basement door is a nod to that 😉

Really interesting and lots of facts and figures, personally I like the breadth of our community.
Very surprised that only 8% are from Europe. There are so many people here 😉
Why does everyone hate the easter event? It was a fun way to interact with your neighbors, having different common/uncommon egg colors, and great rewards for collecting the eggs (also the bunnies were fun to tap) (no offense to the mod)
I personally think that the Valentine’s day event was the worst, mainly because you couldn’t get fp during it, as you couldn’t tap houses. Also, maybe I’m just remembering it wrong, but I don’t think there was much you could do to earn hearts outside of the quest/friends.
Basically, the easter event was a better version of Valentine’s day, there were specific things you could do to earn eggs, weither it be jobs, the egg-o matic or zapping bunnies (agin no offense to.the mod) and it still kept you tapping to try and find the fancy egg.
And this post is getty ranty and makimg less sense as it goes (sorry about that guys)
I think it’s because Easter is the closest negative experience in peoples minds. Last time we did this poll it was just after the Super Bowl event and that was everyone’s least favorite. I bet if we do it again in 6 months it’ll be something else lol
Interesting answers and I too put chesters shed as least favourite because it is and never before shown character with a never before shown decoration (what’s the point in that???). I’m honestly surprised by that because even though Easter was a pain it brought a lot of freemium content and most people unlocked a few items where as minor events like st Patricks or Fourth of July had less content (I know st Patricks brought back O’Flanagans pub but still??) Easter had much more content so I’m honestly surprised by that. Proud to say I’ve been a player since whacking day and a reader since around Fourth of July 2013 so a while back (in between whacking day and Halloween) and honestly my favourite event was Halloween 2013 because I won everything and love zapping ghost and I like Suzanne the witch and the ultra house and pumpkin house (I think they’re cool 😉 ) anywho congrats on 1 year and hopefully many more to come 😉

On the “tsk tsk tapping at work” front. The question asked where we go, not where we tap. However, it does remind me of a gripe I had during stone cutters. Those daily tasks of Number 1 meant that you had no choice but to slip in a sneaky tap at work if you wanted to complete all the tasks in the 24 hour period. I think EA should avoid this in future events as many people could seriously find themselves in trouble with their respective Mr Burns. Don’t stand on trap doors when talking to your boss.

Some interesting and I would say surprising results (though the latter is subjective). Was the Easter event really that bad? Mind you, I only started with the game the month before. The St. Patrick’s Day 2014 was my first in-game event. Although there were some technical problems with the Easter event at first (disappearing eggs from baskets, fences, then baskets that wouldn’t disappear, fences, some sluggish navigation behavior, did I mention fences?), I still thought it was still better than the previous event (for me that was the aforementioned St. Patrick’s Day event). I can’t judge all the events previous to it as I did not participate in them. I hear last year’s Halloween event was really good, so I am looking forward to this year’s (assuming there is one).
Duffman/Duff Brewery and Duff Stadium are really that popular? I guess so. While I wouldn’t vote him worse, I was never that big into him (on the series). Again, all this is subjective. To each their own.

Also, with 26% of everyone in their 20s and 9% in their teens, I would venture to guess (since I don’t know the breakdown of those in their 20s) that a quarter or more of those here are younger than ‘The Simpsons’ itself. It has always been around, on television their entire lives. There’s nothing good or bad about that, it’s just interesting.
Interesting information. Really surprised that Kindles make up such a small percentage of the population. Congrats on the anniversary. Hope you guys are having a huge party somewhere. With hookers. And black jack.
