The Clash of Clones Event has arrived. With all of the new Clash of Clones Premium Items that are Limited Time ,it may be overwhelming trying to decide which items to buy and what to pass on. With that Limited Time label on items I know it can be tempting to just buy everything you can. But, have no fear! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth your donuts & what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Fort Sensible to YOUR Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this Sensible splurge to YOUR Springfield!
Building: Fort Sensible
Donut Price: 65 donuts
Size: 11×9
Earns: $175. 18xp/6hrs
Pros:
-A second chance to get an old building. Building that was originally released during Whacking Day 2013 and was no longer available.
-Adds a great look to any forest/wooded area of Springfield
-Premium payout on the building
-Looks great with a medieval area
Cons:
-Was originally a free building, as a Whacking Day prize
-Stand alone building. No character interaction with it, does not come with a character.
-No questline associated with it.
Final Thought:
Personally, I’m a fan of this one. I’ve had Fort Sensible in my Springfield since Whacking Day 2013 and I love it. It’s a great addition to my wooded area and looks great near Kamp Krusty. The new premium payout is a nice bonus as well, however if you’re short on donuts this might be one you’ll want to pass on and save up for a character/building combo (like Akira).
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would/wouldn’t do, and this is one I would pull the trigger on if I didn’t already have it. Whatever you decide just remember, this is a Limited-time item…so if you’re thinking about it make sure you make your decision prior to the Clash of Clones Event leaving our games October 7th!

Why do you regret buying it?
Only because it didn’t come with a character. I try to only spend donuts on those buildings. But I should have paid attention to the fact it was not in the character list
I do like the look of the fort though.
Does the Fort animate at all? I haven’t seen it animate in other towns that have it. I feel the flag should at least wave in the wind. Especially for a building that is being offered to purchase with donuts. I do like the way looks in wooded areas, so I may get it anyway.
It did when it first hit with a storyline. It did round Halloween when haunted. Then again just recently when all the animations came to life. Otherwise, that poor lil ol flag just sits there.
I wonder if the Mapple store will ever become available again? Almost everything else has. I need it for my shopping district! ( said a grown man )
Hope during Halloween we get one more chance to buy the spooky mansion.

Why exactly is the Mapple store so sacred?
It’s the one building we don’t think EA will ever release again. It was only available for the Holdiay 2012 event so it marks older players towns. Basically the flint-lock rifle for players lol, it’s historical.

I hope so as well. I have a spot reserved for it. They could had it return yesterday for a limited time to coincide with the Apple Event. Let’s hope for Halloween or Xmas at the latest.
I bought it because I’ve been seeing it in my neighbours’ town for a while & I always liked it. So I was very happy to see it available or purchase!
A pass for me. Too much for a decoration. I dislike this trend of charging tons of donuts for something they gave away for free. Of course, when it happens to one of my buildings and I get the increased pay out I will probably love it.
agreed, I’ve no idea what event it was from or when it was available but springfield falls and the superatomic supercollider would be awesome!
Also where did the giant grasshoppers come from? I have a few new neighbours who have them
Big Grasshopper is from the Season 24 Yard Sale back in the Spring of 2013.
Springfield Falls was from an Episode tie-in in 2013
And the supercollider was from Halloween 2012 🙂
I started around spring of last year and the grasshopper was one of my first decorations
Didn’t think anything about but yes! Must have! I started my town on the last couple of whacking days and have been jealous of this a long time. Now I need the waterfall and particle accelerator
