First off, with a new level comes new pricing. This means all items on previous levels will move down in cost. WOOHOO!! Following are the new price changes for the current Buildings in the town. The Base price of the building is in red.

Payout Changes to some buildings.
It seems EA has altered the payout of Ah Fudge! and Itchy & Scratchy Studios just a bit. $150 and 13XP (Was $135, 15XP, so the XP payout went down a lil, $ up a lil).
Fort Sensible now pays out at a Premium rate after being reintroduced as a Premium item to purchase. It now pays out at $175 & 18XP every 6hrs.

Many have noticed that Madame Chao’s is a strip bigger than it was before. Not sure as to why. All I can suggest is if you do not like it, let EA know. Maybe a glitch?

Two new Friendship Prizes were added. This means that the extra bonus was reset and you need to complete both new levels to hit that bonus again and get a chance at random donuts from visiting neighbors.
Also, due to Teeny is now in the game as a “character”…you will notice that once you unlock him both Teeny and Krusty will need to be free in order to be able to do Krusty’s “Walk Teeny” task. This will also add to the payout with two characters making it $840 & 200XP once he is unlocked.

Valentine’s Ponds should now be able to be placed into your Krustyland, so more options to decorate there.

More kids are now allowed to “Go to School” for their tasks. Jimbo, Kearney, and Sherri & Terri will earn Premium for the 6 hour task. Dolph, Nelson, and Martin will earn regular rate.

And of course, your constant reminder (as we ALWAYS get comments on this) Check that Confirm Donut Spend. NO ONE wants to lose donuts on accidental sped up tasks or purchases.

My game is glitchy since lvl 44 hit. Crashes visiting friends, sometimes its choppy while scrolling….etc. Ugh.
I also noticed that my helter shelter has shrunk in size.

Confirm Donut Spend?! Ugh. Last month I bought Handsome Pete by accident and he doesn’t even do anything!! Boourns.
I think EA is watching my progression. Seriously. This has to be the 100th I’ve bought something and a month later the price gets cut. Hmmm…. any takers?? Lol, sad face.

Madam chaos has changed, it was next to my Kwik e mart then I could not see my Kwik e mart so I moved everything to the left by 3 tiles.
They already dropped honest johns 800k? Can I get a refund on that as it was just released with this level? I’m still trying to recover the 10 million I regrettably spent on the revolving restaurant. I was getting close and then had to drop that cash for a required building and the the slash the price that much?
No it’s still 1,000.000. It’s base price is in red. Won’t reach it’s base for quite a while…

That is a drop from what is was just prior to the release of Level 44. It WAS 300K prior to that. 😉
Like many readers I too thought the price of honest johns computers had significantly decreased, until I went through all the comments to verify.
Will EA Now come out with levels on a more consistent and quicker pace; now that more people are aware of how significantly the price drops due to a new level arriving.I find it a tab bit bothersome that the prices drop so significantly for buildings that bring characters and quest lines. I can understand a drop for older buildings that only bring money and xp, but tappers on the higher levels spend most of their time in the game anticipating the next building, character, event ,or quest line to begin so we are more likely to buy the new items as soon as they become available because we rarely have any idea how long it will take for the next level to arrive and we don”t want to get bored
The higher level players usually also have the extra game cash to spend and the ones that complain to EA the most that they have NOTHING to spend it on. So they gave something to spend it on. Lol 😉
Helter Shelter is considerably smaller than it was.

Just wanna say : GLAD that a new item has been made available for KL ! (And, thank YOU, else if i had not seen it HERE, I would not know !) Mebbe only a Pond (which, after all, is Free in Simpson City) … But KL has basically been neglected for quite a while ! (I mean, how many Duplicate Concession Stands would you see in an Actual Amusement Park ?) So Nice that EA keeps adding More Depth to this one COC Theme !

Akira has a 3 part task that will earn you bonsais. It’s 12 hrs each, plant, prune and re-pot bonsais. After the 36 hrs are complete, you’ll earn one for free. Do it twice and you’re done.

I find this all very frustrating. What good is a cheaper building if you already own it? I think this is probably true for most players.
Why is that frustrating? This has been in place since the game started. As you get more and more levels out, the ones that were at the top are no longer there and SHOULD decrease in price as the importance of it is lowered. This is another reason we say there is no point in rushing things. Take your time. If you don’t need it, wait. The price comes down. It is the same for ANYTHING in the game in regular play or events. If you jump right in the second it is released you may later regret it as the price comes down, you can earn it free through regular play, or its cheaper to speed it/buy it using donuts. Patience does pay off. 😉
I guess I just didn’t understand this aspect of the game until now. To be honest, I’ve only been playing the game since the middle of the Stone Cutters event. So I’m still learning the nuances. I guess I will wait from now on to buy a building until I level up a couple of levels higher than I would need to be.

Oh- and by the way- not all of us have been playing the game since it’s inception. I didn’t get my iPad until March of this year, and I don’t own a smartphone. I’m doing the best I can with the game. Someone else commented previously – I can’t remember if it was a small update or the level update but I haven’t received a single Cheaters 20 since them from random tapping. I used to get at least 2-3 day. Been several days now. Also – does anyone know if there’s a link for an existing EA thread on Mme. Chao’s? I love how I had that area designed and now it looks like crap. I definitely want to complain.

I got a Cheater this morning. So, maybe it’s just bad luck. I don’t get them every day. Perhaps you getting so many each day was a fluke?
Looks like a new update just hit. Can’t see any differences yet.
It’s so small it looks like it’s just glitch fixes, but I’ll dig a little further into it 🙂

I don’t think so, cause the glitches still there (at least in my springfield). Tried all the necessary step as suggested (except nuclear) even contact EA. Well, they told me it’s a glitch/glitches, gived me free donuts, and closed the case (for now)…

The requirement for Gluttony seems to have changed. I had a 5 star Springfield and now I don’t! I guess it must be to encourage people to spend donuts on premium restaurants (or save up for the Sit N Rotate).

As far as requirements…usually when they release a new freemium building (bloaters) that improves an area they raise the requirement for it. More details will be on the Conform-O-Meter post once it’s live.
Honest John’s is still a million dollars for me. I have been trying almost a week to save enough money to buy it. Disappointing.
It’ll stay 1 million dollars until new levels hit. The sliding scale doesn’t start until new levels are introduced in the game.

No. That’s a sliding scale for the price changes. With each new level introduced the pricing changes for older buildings. It’s on a sliding scale…so unless you want to wait till it hits it’s base (which will be several levels from now) to purchase it…it’s at the 1million mark.

What’s the deal w/ earning FP if game no longer tells you how much you’ll earn? ex. “You’ll earn 10FP for the next 15 actions…” Should I even continue to visit my friends?
Purchased at cost that appeared in my game. Leveled up to 44 automatically as soon as it was available because I’d completed all necessary quests.
It should still tell you in the bottom left. Something might be off with your game if it’s not. If you don’t see it and it doesn’t look like your FP total is increasing you should contact EA. Something might have to be repaired with your game.
Why do they drop the price? I’m not complaining cos when I was playing at a lower level, I was happy when I heard that there was a price cut which meant I could reach higher level quicker. However dropping the price for the computer store is a bit weird so soon after it’s release.
Nice to know fort sensible has a premium payout as I didn’t want to spend donut on it otherwise.
This has been in place for quite sometime. The prices of all buildings have a base cost. The top 8 Levels of the game have a multiplier that impacts the cost. 4X, 4X, 3X, 2X, 1.6X, 1.4X, 1.3X, 1.3X.
So as a new level is added, they get knocked down to the next multiplier level until they reach their base price.

Does the Valentine’s Pond 2.25% bonus have any effect in Krustyland?
Bonuses in KL are different then Springfield. I will have to check what category in KL it adds too. Same as trees and decorations I believe. Will have to see if bonus applies too.
I was curious about this too. I tried placing one in KL to see what happens, but didn’t notice any bump in ticket generation. I think mine list the bonus at 0.75% though, so maybe it’s too small of a difference to notice on the quick generating, lower payout rides. Let us know what you find out, O Wise Long-eared One. 😉
I maybe wrong, but I thought the Valentine’s Pond has always been 0.75%. Anyho, this does apply to Krustyland.
