In the midst of all the aliens squishing and Ray Gun grabbing Level 46 has arrived in Springfield! And with it arrives one of the most requested buildings….the Clamphitheater! Now I know you may be trying to decide if this theater is worth shelling out YOUR donuts, but don’t sweat it! We’re here to tell you what’s worth the donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Clamphitheater to YOUR Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of bringing this Shell of a good time to YOUR Springfield!
Building/Decoration: Springfield Clamphitheater
Donut Price: 145 donuts
Dimensions: 12×12
Earns: $135, 15xp/4hrs
Conform-O-Meter: Obedience +10
Pros:
-Small questline…no dialogue just tasks
-Pretty decent payout on the building, great way to generate some extra cash in your town.
-Interesting looking building. Will add to the character of your Springfield
-One of the more requested buildings in TSTO
-Permanent Character Tasks for Marge, Krusty & Agnes
Cons:
-Cannot be placed on Squidport…
-Extremely expensive for a building
-No character interaction outside of the initial quests this is on me sorry guys. Didn’t see the tasks listed.
-It’s a big building…hard to find space in many already crowded Springfields.
Final Thought:
This one is a toss up in my opinion. Some will love it, some will hate it. Personally I’m on the fence myself. It looks REALLY cool…but the no character interaction (outside of the initial tasks) factor kind of kills it for me. Oh and it can’t be placed on Squidport…which is where it should go. I’m going to hold off on it for a while to see if I get pushed one way or the other towards it. Right now I just don’t have the right spot in Springfield for it…
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would/wouldn’t do…and I can tell you I’m holding off on it for now. However, this is NOT a Limited-Time Item so take your time with your thought process. the theater will still be there in a few weeks. So if you’re on the fence or worried about saving up your donuts relax..there’s no rush to get it.

Just got this in the black Friday sale. Know where it can be placed now that I find very fitting? The beach in Springfield Heights. 🙂
I’m debating between this and the opera house. If it can go on the Heights beach does that mean it could go on the Heights pier?
I actually don’t see this for purchase at all? Where is it located in the new menu? I think I’ve looked in all categories. Anyone else have this problem?
Have you got to Level 46 on your game play? Completed all the tasks and walkthroughs from Level 44 & 45?
Yes to all. I actually found it buried deep in the premium menu. I want expecting it to be at the “more recent additions” side but it was closer to the “been in here forever” side. Thanks. Keep up the good work.

So when characters go here to do tasks can you see them on the stage, like with the Open Air Stage? Or do the characters just “disappear inside” when they’re given tasks?
Disappear inside.
Its big and my town is full…so may wait untill I get more land or the over copter which means I could reduce the size of my airport.

While I bought the Prep School with this update, the Clamphitheater was a different story. It doesn’t come with a character, I don’t find it appealing aesthetically, and since I have no episode-familiarity/fondness for it, it’s a pass.
According to the article, it was one of the more requested buildings, so congrats to those that have been waiting for this add! 🙂
I’m not super familiar with that episode, but was the clampitheater ON the Squidport, or just right next to it? (I didn’t remember it at first and looked it up, and the pictures I found made it seem as if it were just outside the boardwalk/on land, judging by the parking lots surrounding it.
It is right by the Squidport Entrance in the episode. So land side…by close to it. 😉
From what I recall, the Clampitheater wasn’t actually on Squidport, but at the entrance to it.
I had the donuts to spare, and a lovely big unused section of boardwalk so I bought it. Then comes the awful realisation that it can’t be placed on SP. As you’ve pointed out that’s precisely where it belongs!
Hopefully EA will realise this is incorrect and patch it.

I may be wrong but I believe I saw a task for Agnes for the Clamphitheater. Is that the quest link to the Clamphitheater only?
