Hey there Hoppereenos. Bouncing on by to give you all a quick update on the Mutant Rabbit and the locked task.
So according to the task itself, all that we needed was …well…TODAY! So we waited and waited to see what would happen. Nothing at Midnight. The normal 8GMT hit and nothing happened. Most of the day has passed and it still has not unlocked. I looked and looked and still no changes that I can see.
I contacted some reps at EA, the reps available are in the same boat. No one seems to understand as to why the task is still showing as locked. I contacted an alternate source and am still waiting to see if they can get back to me (they’re on vacation). If I have any further information on it, I will update it here. For now…we wait. See if 8GMT 11/11 it actually unlocks. Or if Midnight at EA (PDT) it shows differently. Only time will tell. Lol.
UPDATE: Looks like AFTER Midnight 11/11 was the winner. Lol. The Should I Post has been updated with the task info.

I don’t seem to be able to update ! I hit update and it just opens the game in Halloween mode? Anyway else have this problem? What can I do. I have rebooted.. Help! X
If you have your account saved to Origin. Just uninstall and resinstall the app then log back in.

Yes, this event sure did Peter out, and not in a good Griffin or Rabbit sort of way.
I wish we could keep as many Rabbits hopping around in our town as we wanted to. Like the more times we multiplied the numbers kept increasing.. Of course there would have to be a way to get rid of them. 🙂

I still like it hopping round my town. Was hoping for a bit more, but I am happy it is NOT an NPC and both of its tasks are outside. Unlike Stampy
Good point. But 75 donuts…yeesh. At least Stampy was free and earns money. But yea, he is just perpetually hidden in the Simpsons house. At least Stampy has a job that doesn’t require another character, unlike Mr Teeny. Now he is just an annoying character in the upper corner I have to tap through to get to other characters if I don’t have him attached to Krusty…for his ONLY job. Seems like an oversight.

Lickety Splitt, my Murant Rabbit has been in his “job” already, almost 4 hrs! It said in the box with the lock on it that “requires” Nov. 10 ! What a surprise to see mine unlocked! If some don’t believe me, :). , u r most welcome to visit my Springfield!! Happy Tappin’ ! I am on this game Almost, 24/7, and need to get some if “my Life”, back when this Halloween game is done! My husband will also be Happy!! :). stepingstair … I was determined to get the “little Green Man”, and have had him for close to a full week!! Happy Tappin’…. :).
So I guess EA let the bunny go after midnight…i suppose we should have known by the whole play on the gremlins aspect of don’t ever feed it after midnight. Well at least my mutated bunny Bart is running or rather walking around my springfield now.

P.S. I thought that TSTO should have a sequel, The Simpsons: Tapped Out 2. Plus, in TSTO 2, you can continue your TSTO 1 game + NEW CHARACTERS and instead of donuts are… KRUSTY’S FLAKES AND INSTEAD OF XP.. BXP.. (BIGGER EXPERIENCE POINTS)
What do you think? Should there be TSTO 2??
Sorry man but that sounds terrible haha! Better to expand this and keep the flow running, instead of getting through 2 games half as good

Logged in this morning and dialogue kicked off the quest. Guess assumptions that the 10th had to pass and it actually unlocks on the 11th were valid.
Woke up this morning and the mutate task was unlocked.
Be very quiet I’m hunting bunnies. 🙂
For me the task was unlocked when I entered the game 1h ago.
It unlocked for me at around 4 AM EST (11/11) – there is some dialog between Bart and Lisa – maybe they need to be free?
It finally showed up for me…at about 4:30 am EST! If you saw the episode, I’m guessing you’ll know what the task will look like for the most part, but I won’t spoil it for you 🙂
Rabbit is working. Waste of donuts. Utter crap.
My task is working. Got little Bart gremlin thing running around and 5 rabbits. My town looks hectic with all the aliens and rabbits running around.
