So, one of the neat things about the Halloween update is that for the first time we can create our own little adventure…sorta. With the introduction of the Make-A-Thing Shop we have the ability to create our own prizes, by picking and choosing what we want to make…and earning goodies accordingly. (or in some cases earning goodies and choose what we want based on that)
Bunny gave us a great overview on earning, choosing and crafting…but now let’s take it all a step further and look at what happens when you craft and add the items to YOUR Springfield.
Next up…let’s take a look at the majestic Rigellian Queen & her Hilarium…
Remember…crafting the Rigellian Queen and running through the short questline is what will unlock the Tribal Huts for you. Details on the Tribal Hut and how to get it will be below as well…
WARNING Spoilers Below…including Dialogue
For those of you that don’t know…you can find more details about the Rigellian Queen, and where she came from here.
Anyway….the Rigellian Queen is an animated decoration for your game.
You’ll find the Queen in Make-A-Thing and can craft it by collecting the following:
400 Broken Fences
400 Rotten Eggs
300 Gummy Bears
Once you have all of those collected you’ll be able to Craft the Rigellian Queen! Once crafted you’ll see the following pop-up:
You can choose to use the Queen now (by placing it) or if you’re not quite ready you can store i in your Inventory as well until you are ready. Once you’ve crafted it it’s yours forever….so even if you don’t use it right away it won’t disappear on you. (Warning…the Queen is HUGE…9×9 in size.)
If you decide to use the Rigellian Queen right away it’s questline will start up for you. Here’s the full dialogue version of the short questline:

Kang auto starts
Kang: Good work, Giant Finger! You have found our queen. Now gently and respectfully place her. Make room if you have to! Buy more land! Put stuff in the inventory. I shouldn’t have to tell you how to do this!
Place the Rigellian Queen
Tap on the Rigellian Queen
Kang: Our glorious Queen and her bountiful supply of Hilarium.
Homer: Mmmm…special saliva *drools*.
The Queen and I Pt. 2
Kang starts
Kang: Our Queen cannot rule without subjects. Let us build a Rigellian district. A place where Rigellian immigrants can keep touch with their culture, while learning the ways of this planet we are trying to conquer.
Lisa: Really? So you’re still actively invading us, but you’re also trying to become part of our tapestry of cultures?
Kang: Sounds about right.
Make a Rigellian Tribal Hut- Craft the Rigellian Tribal Hut at Make-a-Thing. You’ll need:
300 Candy Corn
50 Chocolate Bars
50 Pumpkins
And that completes the Queen and I questline…and unlocks the ability to craft multiple Tribal Huts!
Here’s a quick rundown on the Tribal Hut and what it does…
Unlocked: During Part 2 of the Queen and I. Must craft at Make-A-Thing,
Unique: No, you can have as many as you’d like. You’ll just have to craft each one…and each time you craft one the amount of items needed increases slightly
Earns: During Halloween each Tribal Hut you have will earn 3 Aliens for squishing every 24hrs. I suspect they’ll earn $/xp once Halloween is over.
Character Use: Currently no characters will use the Tribal Huts.
There is an additional quest for Kang (and Kodos if you own) involving the Rigellian Queen! This will auto popup in your Task Book, but there’s no dialogue associated with it:
If you Can’t Beat Em, Hilarium
Make Kang Drink Hilarium- 20hrs, Earns $825, 200xp
Make Kodos Drink Hilarium (only applies if you have Kodos)- 20hrs, Earns $825, 200xp

I’m confused…if the queen was a craftable in an event that I played, how is it possible that I don’t have her?!? I had just assumed that she was a premium decoration that I hadn’t bought in the past. I can’t think why I don’t already have her!
She’s from Halloween 2014…did you play then?
I thought I started in the summer of 2014….just before CoC. Did I get my years wrong? I was pretty sure it was 2014, because that’s when I was out on disability for six months and started playing to help relieve the boredom.

i was not able to get the tribal hut cuz the game was crashing for almost a week!´ is there any way to add it to my town?`

Nice little glitch in today’s update if you built a hut. Every time you enter your town, the hut has the reward. Tap the reward, go to the friends page and immediately return to your town. The reward is there. Again. And again. Move the hut to your town center for fastest harvesting of money!
Same glitch for the pumpkin and spooky houses!

I’ve experienced the Permahugger glitch throughout the event, got lots of bags out of it and I’ve basically crafted everything. I love this event. 😁
Am I the only one who’s noticed that we are being shorted on rewards for visiting neighbors? I just realized the other day that I was not reaching the 90 rewards for squishing aliens in friends’ towns. Instead, it stopped at 89. The 90th squish resulted only in cash and XP. I checked a few more times and had the same result, and I made sure not to tap on Sideshow Bob or anything else. Am I the only one to notice this, and has this been going on for the entire event?
We did put up a post that sometimes the UFO’s were taking them away. Other times Sideshow and to report to EA right away any losses. Not many had the issue. It was a handful at most. I just notice due to I was one of them.
I just now got the Rigellian Queen and set Kang and Kodos on their “Hilarium” task. It’ll take 20 hrs while the event ends in 15 hrs… Will I still be able to buy a tribal hut?
Not sure. We do not know when the update to remove the event will hit once time is up. Could be instant…could be hours. If you feel you are getting close…get as close as possible and maybe speed it up if you are concerned.
Any way to get about 5000 protein strands from now till the update is over?
Magic? Lol.
The only way really is if you have a lot of ammo and get a lot of UFO’s with 50 protein strings

I just go the queen and it is a 20 hour task for kang so I have no chance to craft the hut? Lame.
Also I am really pissed that the ray gun is not buyable anymore. I was waiting to make sure I was going to get the queen before I bought Kodos. Now I have one and not the other. Ugh!

I finally got through and they gave me 30 donuts and said the ray gun will be added to my inventory in an hour or 2. I wont be able to get the hut tho because I am 50 candy corns short… o well at least I got Kodos after all. (or so “Shobhit” says)

Hi! Just wanted to ask if anyone else has noticed that both the sit ‘n’ rotate and the fortress of choclitude have been removed from the build menu. Also why was the ray gun and ultra house 2 removed before the end of the event?
I just got enough pink sprinklies to buy the gun but it’s gone and kodos is still flying around my town and I have no way to shoot him down now.
Just tap on the Simpsons House icon. Don’t go to aspirational. Also they won’t show til your game play is at the levels that unlock it.
Many items were limited time only and EA didn’t keep them the entire event. Ray Gun may have been pulled this morning. I’ll double check my test game

I was able to craft Hugo, the big pumpkin, and the queen so I also made two houses each for the sections I plan on building for them. Now I’m just using excess craft items for spooky walls. With all the eggs I now have no use for I’m sort of hoping the excess items get exchanged for currency or something like that.
I’ve got most of the items to craft and like many other people I’m debating on what to “burn” the treats on. I’ve been burnt before by EA at the end of events. I think the spooky walls is the best choice since you get extra % payout. I think adding a couple of huts of maybe another spooky house would be cool too. The only thing I didn’t get from this event was the doughnut torture device which I really wanted. Oh well at least I got Hugo.
Hi! Just wanted to say that I’ve now crafted 2 Huts, 3 spooky houses and 2 pumpkin houses. And I still have leftovers of the candy, I hope we get some exchange for the overflow of the candy stuff, so it hasn’t been all in vain. Like money or something, I crafted all this 1 min ago just to be safe I get something from my candy!
What about the friend leaderboard? Is there any point to this other than simply kudos? Will there be any prizes given out to people in their own top 10, for example? If not, it’s pretty pointless.
We are not sure. All we can do is wait and see.

It seems I’m not the only one in this boat, but I’m going to be short on fences to buy the queen. It’s a little strange since they’re in the lower tier bag, but I guess since I spent 600 on Hugo and the Spooky House I earned more of them than anything else. I wonder why EA never sold fences and eggs, that’s the one bag prize I would have bought.
I’m also a little upset that they stopped selling the Super Collider and Black Hole a day early. I was holding off until the end to see if I needed to spend my doughnuts on bronze treat bags, and when I logged in this morning the Collider was gone. Was there a date for the end of the sale that I just missed? Does EA normally pull items before an event ends?
They kept all the end dates for the sales a secret this go round.
I too was waiting to purchase the collider and black hole. Serve me right! I bought 3 tentacle trees instead lol.

Overall, I loved this event! I joined a week before Clash Of Clones, so I didn’t have much to compare this event to, but I loved it! 😉 Anyways, it’s kinda off topic, but does anybody know what happened to the Writers if you didn’t buy it before Sunday (is it still available? Does it cost donuts?) Just wondering because it didn’t say limited time underneath it. Thanx 🙂
They did not set an end date for it. If you want to see if it is still available, just look at your menu buildings. 😉

But other than spooky walls, which is all I can craft right now, is there anything to do with the collected items? Will all the collected items just disappear tonight?
More than likely use them or lose them. I’ve been crafting Gold bags…shooting for donuts. But walls are good too
Ended up spending donuts on more candy corns so I could get a second hut, bah. But the Queen looks SO much better with a hut on either side now. Just hoping for a couple more shrubs in this evening’s treat bags to finish off the area.
i dont care for this event, i havent been able to craft very much, fences will not drop for me…
I love the look of the huts, but i only have one yet. I already have enough candies for the second hut, but im unsure if i sure spend it on the hut or on shrubs (i only have two) and spooky walls (cause of the bonus). What do you guys think?

After crafting all the items, what do you recommend to craft then? Pumpkins, huts … ?
What do YOU want in your town months from now? Shrubs? Houses? Bonus % from spooky walls?
Personally, (and this is just a personal thing, no comment on other people’s likes/dislikes), I think the queen is too small a character in the show to demand such a huge space – especially for such little benefit on the Conform-o-meter. I decided not to craft her as soon as I learned how much space she needed.
I’ll be crafting as many spooky houses and spooky walls as I can – at least they’ll generate cash after the event is done.
I’m so close in getting the queen, so close! I think I’ll get her before this event ends and maybe one hut too. Fingers gross!! I’m currently tapping like crazy to get her and if I get her and the hut in time, I’ve managed to get every item from this event! So happy :D:D:D:D I got UBO yesterday, so cute and slightly creepy green dude, his just so much fun 🙂 I hope I dont need to result in spending my little donuts on the queen since I want one of those tentacle trees too.
Only two huts in both my towns.
I wish I could have more huts to make a little Rigellian village around the queen (each hut with its own human test subject in the back yard)
Good morning everyone. …I really wanted a 3rd hut for my queen area ….it looks like I’ll be a little short….so tonight I will construct a 2 nd spooky house and snatch up whatever else I can, since it should all be gone in the morning. ..that is the plan…any advice?

I love the queen! My second favorite prize right after Hugo. The animation with Kodos and Kang drinking Hilarium is just wonderful.
Wish I could craft more huts without donuts. I’ll end up with just two huts altogether tomorrow when the event ends. Currently my donuts buyout for the second hut is down to 20 donuts with less than 24 hours to go, missing 27 candy corn and 28 choco bars. I can craft four golden treat bags, so I am hoping for a few more choco bars to reduce the price. Of course also crossing my fingers for some more useful treatbags from drops.
Overall I was very pleased with the event.
