With 1 week to go until Thanksgiving here in the US…it’s Turkey Time in Springfield! A little Thanksgiving Update has hit our Tapping Devices this morning…
More details as we go through them…but it should auto-start with some dialogue between Homer and Flanders…
(FYI if you don’t see it immediately…try hard closing and restarting TSTO. Sometimes that helps to trigger it)

WARNING MILD SPOILERS AHEAD….
First up, as mentioned above, some dialogue will be started between Homer and Flanders….
Homer: Thanksgiving! The high holiday of gorging! Uncluttered with Yule logs, Easter egg hunts, flag saluting or the yoinking out of groundhogs.
Flanders: It’s also a time for solemn prayer and giving thanks to Our —
Homer: Stuff it, Flanders! Like every holiday, the turkey season combines my three favorite things — Eating, quests and prizes.
Flanders: But do you have any idea what day comes AFTER Thanksgiving?
Homer: LEFTOVERS DAY!
Flanders: I was talking about Black Friday.
Homer: Martin Luther King Day?
Flanders: You really are clueless. Looks like I’m going to have to educate you in the mannor of Miles Flandish.
Miles Flandish: One-two, buckle my shoes! Three four Pilgrim-ize some more!
At this point you’ll get Puritan Flanders (he’ll be in your Inventory..and this is a skin for Ned) for FREE!!
If you don’t already have her, you will also be giving Sacagawea Lisa (returning from last Thanksgiving) for FREE as well! (She’ll also be in your Inventory…and is a Skin for Lisa).
Now let’s take a look at the rest of the Turkey Day Goodies!
New Stuff:
Unfortunately…beyond Puritan Flanders all the new Stuff of this Thanksgiving is Premium. Here’s the break down of what’s new:
Piggly’s Super Smorg- 140 Donuts. Earns $135, 15xp/4hrs. Comes with Jacqueline Bouvier (FINALLY)
Caged Tom Turkey- 100 Donuts. Earns 3% bonus on all cash and xp.
Heimlich Machine- 60 Donuts. Earns 2.5% bonus on all cash and xp.
Now for what’s returning from Thanksgiving 2012 and 2013…
Returning stuff…
Rusty the Clown Balloon- $5,400
Blinky Balloon- $16,500
Santa’s Little Helper Balloon- $30,000
Snowball II Balloon- 15 Donuts. Earns 0.50% bonus on all cash and xp.
The Grumple Balloon- 25 Donuts. Earns 2% bonus on all cash and xp
Stampy Balloon- 40 Donuts. Earns 2% bonus on all cash and xp.
ALL BALLOONS improve your Vanity Rating..
Caesar’s Pow-Wow Casino- 150 Donuts. Earns $200, 22xp/ 8hrs. Comes with Tribal Chief.
Caesar’s Pow-Wow’s Casino Sign- 40 Donuts. Earns 2% bonus on all cash and xp.
The Mayflower- 100 Donuts. Earns 3% bonus on all cash and xp.
Characters:
Tribal Chief- Comes with Caesar Pow Wow’s.
Jacqueline Bouvier- Comes with Piggly’s Super Smorg.
After you complete part 3 of the Thanksgiving questline & start part 4, you’ll be awarded a FREE Cornucopia! (again it’ll be in your inventory) Then you’ll be able to purchase more, if you so choose. But it won’t appear in your store until after you’ve gotten the free one.
Cornucopia- Earns 0.50% bonus on all cash and xp. You can also purchase more for 15 Donuts.
At this point…the questline will be stalled until Monday 11/24, when we’ll get another piece of the Thanksgiving puzzle!
AFTER you start the dialogue between Flanders and Homer…Lisa will popup with a quest…
This will be the start of the Episode Tie-In….
For the most part it’s just two quick parts…for now. A 6s task with Homer and Lisa and then a 1hr Task where Homer goes to Moe’s. Then you’ll see a popup telling you to watch the Simpsons on Sunday to see what’s happened to King Toots…
After you complete part 2 of the questline, where Homer goes to Moe’s for an hr, you’ll have the option to purchase…
Guitar Central- 50 Donuts. Earns $135, 15xp/ 4hrs (Requires you to be at Level 17).
If you purchase Guitar Central…the questline will continue for you…
Items Missing from the Store:
When you first start up the Thanksgiving Event the store looks like this:
With all of the Thanksgiving items clearly marked and Recommended. But after you leave TSTO and come back it might look like this:
And you might be panicking that Thanksgiving is gone from your game! BUT…fear not! Because it isn’t….To get it back all you have to do is expand the store menu:
And find the Thanksgiving Icon:
And presto! Thanksgiving will return:
Remember…Bunny outlined the details of the new Menu in this post, which reminds you that the Event Icon will change from time to time, but you should always be able to find it when you expand the menu. 🙂

I fell behind a bit and while trying to make Ned punish himself I see that the task is locked and says it requires ” *(null)”. Any suggestions?

You either get grumple or stampy.
If you have 1 you recieve other if both you get 30 doughnuts I have neither so I’d get a balloon.
For some reason, I cannot unlock King Toots. I am at level 26, and completed We don’t sell mypods 1, but the 2nd part never triggered. In the meantime I have built: police station, guided truffle, luigi, and town hall. I just started the Muntz quests and Channel 6 quests but the 2nd part of the King Toot quest never triggered. Please help.
All we can suggest is double check the walk through. Make sure all characters free. Check any uncleared tasks in your task bar. Outside that, if it’s still won’t, alert EA

My Puritan Flanders skin has disappeared from my inventory after the dialogue. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game but that didn’t seem to have worked.
All we can suggest is to contact EA when they are back up and running. (Issues right now) So hang in there.
I’ve contacted EA, they don’t have the ‘tool’ available yet to correct the missing Flanders skin. I spoke with a rep last Thursday and again yesterday (No I wasn’t harassing, I was told to contact again on Monday). The rep yesterday said their specialists were working in it. She also said I was the only person complaining about this and kind of made me feel like they thought it was something on my end. They again stated I should try uninstalling and re-installing (done it six times now om both my phone and tablet), putting Flanders in inventory and taking him out again (didn’t fix it) and lastly deleting the Flanders house and rebuilding it. None of this brought the skin.
I’m in the same boat! Frustrating!!!!

I still think a founders pack for say 50 dollars real cash to have as an in game content download would be good. Which would give you a 3d design printer that makes fake doughnuts which can be used like premium doughnut currency.
It would say take 2-4 fake doughnuts to make one whole non fake doughnut and it would only take in game cash to say buy more ink up upgrades for the printer to keep it running.
It would also have decent but fair burn times.
I believe stuff like this would show loyal fans and new comers that although they as EA do charge for stuff they also give away things like this to make things fair for players that can’t spend tons of time staying up on leveling or playing infinitie catch up to earn those free doughnuts.
Even if the founders pack only earned you 10,000 real currency doughnuts total before just breaking down and just collecting cash. Not over night of course but say the long run of a year or so it would be a thank you to the players.

The Mayflower ship is no longer labeled as a “Limited Item” now, so I assume it was a mistake when the event first launched. I figured it was either a mistake or they decided to change it to a limited item although it was only labeled as such in the Thanksgiving section of the store.

Has the Bloodmobile been removed? I was looking to purchase a few but I couldn’t find it. The Rat Trap Delivery truck is there. Did it replace the Bloodmobile?
It is still in the Menu. Decorations tab.
Thank you. I found it. Surprisingly, the Bloodmobile is missing if you look in the decorations’ sub-menus. I was looking in the sub-menus only to avoid having to go through the main decorations section. D’oh!
With this update you can no longer place the Ziff Corp sign on the curb, bummer I liked it there and want to move some things around, but will have to rework around the sign.

I love the update and the new skins for Flanders and Lisa! As a freemium player I won’t be buying any of the premium items but the free skins and the few new items that only cost in game money are great!
This is an awesome game and you guys have an outstanding website that I rely on everyday!
I do like the two free skins and decorations. Much better than nothing and thanks for reading. Without y’all, we’d just be three nuts talking to ourselves (which is hilarious when we do btw).
I love this game. Its the only one that I’ve kept constant in my game rotation. I don’t mind having to buy item’s but why so expensive? I mean you can buy a dozen donuts but we all know what we can get with that. Maybe reevaluate pricing because not all have $50 to $100 to drop. Let’s keep it fun. Just a thought. Really glad I stopped playing this game at the start of Halloween, this is getting obsurd I feel sorry for you guys what’s with all the premium content 😕. The greed is real!!! Watched intresting episode of South park freemium isnt free very enlightening to what’s going on with these kind of games. And I think due to less people playing now your seeing EA get a lot tighter on gifts because only a small percentage of people actually pay premium and they make the game continue. From London but hope you Americans have a good thanksgiving and hope alissa bunny and rookie are keeping well god bless 😊
I wished there was more free content, but EA has to get profit somehow. Dont fight over if you buy stuff or not in the game, everyone has the right to choose what to do with their money, so lets just focus on playing the game! 😀

Hi, I’m sure this is in the wrong place but I’m not sure where to put it. Yesterday I completed building the Skinner House and Fat Tony’s Compound (yes, I’m *that* new!), but neither the Legs/Louie nor the Agnes Skinner tasks have kicked in. All the right people were available and I waited. Boy did I wait. I even quit the game several times but still no joy.
I’m sure your walkthroughs are correct so do you have any ideas what could have gone wrong? do you think it’s to do with this update?

Really upset everything’s premium. Not very sporting or fun for those of us who don’t like spending money on this game. Poor decision on TSTOs part- this kind of exclusion from themed events can put off the freemium or occasional spenders.
TSTO Addicts has no decisions on the game. It’s all controlled by EA. TSTO is just some really cool people who help us all navigate the intricacies of the game.
Tracey never said the Addicts had any ability to make in game decisions. She said TSTO, which would mean EA as they are the developers of TSTO.
In which case I apologize. I just feel bad for you all to take so much guff from people who blame you three for problems in the game. Which seems to happen often

Yes, but when it starts to download, it stops and the game crash or it says that it cant contact the server. 🙁
Try hard closing, clearing the cache, uninstalling and resinstalling TSTO. Sometimes that helps to get it to continue..
