It’s Turkey Time in Springfield and what better way to give thanks then spend it with your Family…or your in-laws. And with Thanksgiving, EA has decided to bring the Bouvier family back together again with the introduction of Jacqueline Bouvier!
Wondering if you should add Mrs. Bouvier to YOUR Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this classy lady to YOUR Springfield!
Building/Decoration: Piggly’s Super Smorg
Character: Jacqueline Bouvier
Donut Price: 140 donuts
Dimensions: 5×10
Earns: $135, 15xp/4hrs.
Conform-O-Meter: Gluttony +10
Pros:
-Comes with a quest line
-Premium character earns 50% more on all cash and xp than a freemium character
-Pretty decent payout on the building, great way to generate some extra cash in your town.
-Mrs. Bouvier’s questline heavily involves Grampa Simpson, so nice to have him active again.
-One of the most requested characters for TSTO.
-Voiced.
-Reasonably priced for a character/building combo.
-Mrs. B will use the Super Smorg
Cons:
-No Character Interaction after questline.
-Several of her tasks are indoors
– Super Smorg is fairly large & could be hard to fit in your existing Springfield.
Final Thought:
Personally, this one is a must buy for me. Mrs. Bouvier has been one of the more requested characters in TSTO history and she’s finally here! She’s at a reasonable price & is voiced. Plus, the Super Smorg will get used, so it’s not just another building gathering virtual dust in your Springfield.
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would/wouldn’t do…and I can tell I purchased Mrs. Bouvier right away. She’s well worth the donuts, in my opinion. Just remember…whatever you decide she IS Limited-Time so be sure to make your decision before Thanksgiving leaves Springfield! (looks like it’s set to leave 12/2)

I missed the chance to buy Mrs. Bouvier. Would love to have her in my town especially as she’s voiced. (Not enough female voiced characters) What are the chances of her returning?
Only time will tell. EA has brought back a bunch of characters so strong chance she’ll come back at some point.

Bought her right away. Still not sure about the turkey and the Heimlich machine, though. Both are awfully expensive for just decorations. At least the machine is used by Flanders. Tom Turkey seems really useless, and with my being european, I can’t really understand the turkey-obsession during Thanksgiving season 😉
I was gonna wait for this post as a formality, but for some reason I thought she was going to leave this morning and well, it’s Jacqueline Bouvier and well, and, and, and…yeah. I got her yesterday. I’m holding off on that second task in the questline in case I need Grampa and possibly Bart tomorrow, but at least I’ll have something to do when Thanksgiving ends (along with Marge’s protest of something or other, but anyway).
I was hoping all the members of the Simpson and Bouvier family would be freemium…

Thanksgiving Final End Date (according to the files) 12/2…now they could decide to leave her in Springfield after that (like Crazy Cat Lady) but for now we can only assume she (and everything else) will leave on the 2nd.
Okay, thanks. At least they are not leaving immediately after Thanksgiving. Hey, I just finished creating my Thanksgiving Day Parade in my Springfield. It’s longer than I thought it would be. All my nerds are marching in it. Overall, I’m pretty pleased with it. It’s still a work in progress, but mostly done. I need to get the caged turkey to use as the closer for the parade, but I need to get some more donuts first.
Would have been better if she has an outside joint task with any of the Bouvier clan or other Springfield residents. And where is Hal Roach Apts? Don’t even remember Super Smorg Bldg. on the show ( casual viewer here). I’ll probably pass on her this time around and wait until next year (if I’m still playing the game then 😉 ).
I’d really like to get her but I’m afraid I could miss a really nice offer on black Friday. Is EA known to make such offers on this occasion ? Thanks !

As soon as I saw this I knew I wanted her…how could you not get the last Bouvier for your set! The only drawback, upon reading this post, is that she doesn’t interact with other characters after the questline is over, but lots of other characters don’t interact with others once their questlines are over either, so this wasn’t a deal breaker for me.
Got it at the weekend, couldn’t pass up Mrs Bouvier and it’s a good price for a building and character.
Gah… I really want her but don’t have enough donuts and can’t buy more until the weekend… EA better not pull a THOH and take her out of the game before Dec. 2 😛

I bought her the first day she was available. Don’t know if it matters, but I had just bought the cracker factory so Milhouse could have his mom back, maybe I was still feeling sentimental an applied the same thought to the three Bouvier girls
