Happy Thanksgiving!

Hey Howdy Hey Turkey Tappers!

Woohoo, it’s finally Turkey Day here in the US! And you know what that means? Turkey, mashed potatoes, apple pie, pumpkin pie, football, stretchy pants and insane sales at the mall! You may notice things a little quiet around here today (you can always find all the latest on the Thanksgiving Update here), as the Addicts staff celebrates the holiday with their families but don’t worry we’ll be back at it tomorrow!

However, we couldn’t let a day dedicated to being thankful go with out a special THANK YOU to all of our AMAZING readers! We are so thankful for each and every one of you taking the time to read our posts and comment! So from Wookiee, Bunny, and myself THANK YOU!!!

Now for a little extra fun. In my family, and many families, we have a tradition on Thanksgiving, we go around the table and each take a turn saying what we’re most thankful for over the past year. So, I thought it would be fun if my Addicts family each took a turn and shared with you, our AMAZING readers, what we’re most thankful for this year! So with that being said….

What the Wookiee is thankful for…
You know, if you’d told me a year ago that this tiny little site would still be plugging away strong I may have been a little doubtful.  Sure we had a nice formula and three talented writers in addition to some of the best readers ever but how long would folks be interested in what we had to say about a silly mobile game?  Well… it’s been a year and we’re still here going as strong as ever (stronger actually).  I am so satisfied and happy about what TSTO Addicts is and continues to be.  I am thankful for the opportunity to put words down in cyberspace about my favorite TV show nay addiction.
Words really can’t express how thankful I am for Alissa and Bunny.  They really are two of the most amazing and kind ladies and I’m grateful to have them as sisters from other misters.  A fuzzball couldn’t ask for better partners and if he did, he’d be a silly walking carpet indeed.  I’m also thankful for all of you dear readers.  Without you, this site would just be us talking to ourselves and I thank you for sticking with us and providing as much joy from your end as we try to send from ours.  I have no doubt this is the best TSTO site and it’s all because of you.  We’re just the moderators who keep this hilarious engine running.
Of course, my thanks wouldn’t be complete without appreciating my beautiful family.  My mom who keeps me able to go to school, blog, host karaoke, work as a monster, etc.  She keeps me from worrying about those life distractions which would derail my life plans.  My amazing kiddos who are my reason for doing all that I do.  They are the bright points of joy to light my walk in life.  To my non-Simpsons friends who provide as much laughter as I could ever need and support when I need it, life is better with you in it.  I’m thankful for the military who makes happiness and thanks even possible.  I’m certainly a very lucky guy and I am thankful to God and everyone else that I get to be that way.  I’m thankful for being able to be thankful basically.
Much love from me and mine to you and yours.  Have some delicious food and camaraderie and enjoy the holiday.  If you have to work, don’t work too hard, the sales will still be there the next day and the day after that.  Money can’t buy them love anyways.  I’m seriously hoping we all can spend more time with those we love today than the yellow characters we tap each day.  Always remember those you love who love you in return.  That’s something to be thankful for.  TTFN… Wookiee out!

What Bunny is Thankful for….

Well I say it all the time and will continue to say it again and again. I LOVE our readers here. Without you, we would just still be talking to just ourselves. Lol. You guys add to the fun and excitement that is the Addicts.

I am thankful I still have a lil family left to see on Holidays. Gatherings are smaller but just glad to have someone there. 

Thankful for my eye sight, so I get to sit and giggle while people watching all the craziness that comes out of “humans” this time of year. 

Thankful that I am alive and have amazing people in that life. Like Alissa and the Fuzzball. 

 

So I guess now it’s my turn….

What I’m MOST thankful for is my AMAZING Family.  Especially my husband who has been an amazing source of strength and support for me over the last year…and who was willing to celebrate our anniversary in Disney World, just to make me happy 🙂

I’m so grateful that I have 3 sisters who are my best friends.  I see so many families who are barely speaking to each other…or this one isn’t talking to that one.  But in my family…my sisters and I all talk daily.

I’m thankful for all 7 of our nieces and nephews (and 1 more on the way)!  Two of whom are coming over this morning to help us make Thanksgiving breakfast!

I’m thankful for apple cider Sangria…which will help me get through the day at my in-laws later today.

I’m thankful I have a job that allows me to tap & blog while at my desk.  (just don’t tell my boss…)

I’m EXTREMELY grateful for all of YOU.  The amazing readers of this site (and the crossovers of FGA)! With out you we wouldn’t be here.  From the little blog that could, the the amazing place we are today we owe it all to you!

And last…but certainly not least…I’m so thankful for my two best friends Bunny & Wookiee!  Their laughter and love help keep me sane when I need it most!

 

Here at Addicts we’ve all been blessed in so many ways and we hope you have too. In that spirit we’d like to invite you to take a moment and let us know in the comments below what you’re thankful for this Thanksgiving! We can’t wait to see what you come up with!

    Happy Thanksgiving to you guys. We don’t celebrate it here but I am thankful for my family, friends and my little nephew and of course the three of you and your amazing help with our games! 🙂

    Thank you, Allissa, Bunny, and Wookiee for all the work that goes into this site and thank you to all those in the TSTO Addicts community that are here on this site. It’s my go-to site for all things TSTO and more. In fact, just came rushing here to review the “Should I Buy” article for Kamp Krusty. It was the first item in the ‘Black Friday Donut Rebate Sale’ that just launched so I came here to decide if I should buy it or not (I didn’t pull the trigger, there are other items I will get though in this sale, but only have so many donuts to go around).

    Rebate Question!! U knew these were coming! :). R these items available later in the day with this timed type quest?? Or, do we have to stay up during the nite to get these Rebates every hr as “suggested”? Mahalo…stepingstair. :).

    Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! I’m Canadian therefore we celebrated ours in October. I hope everyone spent the day with all their loved ones and filled their bellies with all the fixings that today brought.

    Now it’s belated, but Happy Thanksgiving Bunny, Alissa and Wookiee! I hope you all enjoyed a warm and fullfilling day with those that are most cherished to you. Even though I was on my feet all day cooking, I was so thankful to sit at a table filled with humble but plentiful food and drink, in a home with electricity and heat, with peaceful snow falling outside in the country.

    Far from Martha Stewertish standards, but also far from Iraq or other wartorn countries. For those simple taken for granted things (like being able to afford to or even have access to play digital games), I am thankful. And therefore, also for all you guys do to help us make our way in this silly little game! Ali
