Since Xmas update, I have been locked out of my town like countless others according to complaint board on EA site. Apparently they are working to fix this glitch but it is unknown when that will be.
If you wish to delete me and find new neighbours who can enter their towns, then please do so…I understand completely.
Please also note that this glitch has not…THUS FAR …affected my other two towns.

Hello, I’m not 100% sure what to do both me and a friend are experiencing a glitch… what it is is my wizard marge back from the clash of clones event was higher than level 10 I think higher than 15 but under 30… not exactly sure but now whenever I go to click on the barbarian castle is shows her as level 1 my friend leveled her characters higher than I was able to and her Marge and Bart are doing the same thing… has this been reported to EA… Is anyone else having this problem is there a fix? should I just contact EA? I was unsure what to do about this and where to post this so I posted it here hoping someone would know 🙂 Thanks for any help you can give me 🙂
First I’m hearing of this specific one. But remember…it’s just a number the levels really don’t impact how the character plays..
I know… it was just a bummer… at least it wasn’t something physical 🙂 I was just wondering if there was a fix or if anyone else was experiencing this… it’s not that big of a problem more of a little irritation… but thanks for the response and have a nice day 🙂

VAL!!!! OMG! OMG! How can you bear to live in that winter wonderland?? You would never be able to get down and get dirty!! It is like an Xmas card setting!! Truly beautiful…especially as I look out onto our barren, parched landscape around here at present! Thank you for sharing your beautiful scenery with me! You said it was taken from your top deck? Well guess I’ll just have to be happy with the ground level floor then! Lol. So truly beautiful. I am in total green eyed monster mode now! 😉I guess I’ll just have to get even with you and send you photos of our glorious tropical beaches here in paradise! Lol
Mary Jo, I do apologise for not getting back to you before now….if I could just remember to stop bashing my poor hand on things, life would be so much more pleasant! 😣 yesterday I had to go see my local doctor for the discharge report, and from there on in, I did everything I could to bash that poor hand! I bashed the steering wheel, I bashed an automatically opening door for heaven’s sake…who the hell manages to bash an automatically opening door??..then I hit the handle of the shopping trolley, and it wasn’t even my trolley! The young chemist thought it a huge joke when I even managed to bash the counter in there! He’s very lucky he is such gorgeous eye candy, or I’d be upset! Lol
Today I am giving my poor hand a rest from bashings! Well, thus far anyway! I cannot get over the incredible improvement already! For well over twelve months now, my left arm, wrist and hand have been almost twice the size of my right, due to the odema, but in just on a week, it is nearly back to the same size as the right! I am so stoked about that. I saw friend down town yesterday and gleefully showed her how I once again have WRINKLES on my hand and arm! Lol. I never thought I’d see the day when I’d be happy to have wrinkles! And all that pain and most of the pins and needles feelings have gone from my left arm and hand…that is just so wonderful!
I am not sure when right side will be done as I have a little.bit of a concern with numbness in the fingertips on my left hand…I’m hoping it is just because of early days from the surgery, but want to make certain before I go ahead with the other hand. I am actually right handed, but accomplish most things with both hands…just not as strong or as well left handed….so not a true ambidextrous person. At present I am having a delay in feelings at the finger tips…I don’t feel heat or cold as quickly as in my right hand..and I have to press harder to feel any pain stimulus so that’s a worry for me…just hoping it isn’t permanent nerve damage. Time will tell. Other than that, my hand is doing all the necessary exercises that were set, without any problems at all.
So Mary Jo, you’ve gone and started a town for Eli? I just so laughed at Val’s reaction…so funny. Hilarious! It’s a good thing we three cant get together in person….the world wouldn’t be able to handle us! Lol…but we’d have a blast, girls! 😉
Well I am away again…Garfield thinks I should be paying him attention so he is dive bombing my foot to make my toes wriggle for a pat then he is standing back up and nearly pushing his head thru my leg, so I’m assuming he wants some food! The other two cats just stand beside me and look at me with pained expressions on their faces, but Garf ‘TELLS’ me! Lol

Julie, so glad to hear your hand is doing so much better. It is amazing what they can do nowadays. I understand about bashing your hand on everything. I have a big toe that has arthritis in the joint and I am always hitting it going up steps or running it into an object that I get too close to. Craziest thing how we manage to do that. Automatic door opener, huh? And what r u doing with someone else’s shopping cart? Lol. My heart does go out to u, thou. At least u know it’s not dead.
Yes, I started another town. Poor Val. She didn’t have a clue. Lol. Don’t ask why. Guess it is like having a baby that needs more attention and I do like the challenge of it all. Lol. Guess my life is pretty boring except for this blooming game. Turn TV on for Wendell so I can play on my iPad. Lol. He can’t hear very well, plus he can’t remember anything so there isn’t any conversation except me tell him what to do and him asking why. Not complaining, it is just how it is. I wouldn’t trade him for anything.
I think we would have so much fun together. You, Val and I. She seems like a sweetheart and u and I would be cracking up all the time. Do we have the same type of sense of humor? I know I think u r just too funny for words. Love it.
Well, Wendell’s pain that was in his hip seems to have past. I am so grateful for that. And he seems to be hungry all the time now, so that is good. Also, we r getting some much needed rain. All in all, life is good. Now I have a wee little town to get back to before my friends overrun me. Lol. Now at level 11 and a 100 friends. Lol. No room left for Val, but maybe when I am bigger we may both have a place for each other in our towns.
Thank u for letting me know how u r doing and so happy it is good news. Now u just need to tuck that hand in when u r on the move. So good to hear from u and u take care.

Julie, I am back again. Was laughing when I saw I had wrote an automatic door opener. LOL. I meant automatically opening door. Gosh, I can’t believe me. Also, I hate the word bored. I haven’t had a bored day since I was a kid. Life has been interesting to say the least.
I pulled the car out of the garage so it could get a washing with the rain. Then I went out and dried it off and put it back into the garage. Pretty nifty.
One last thing, my wee town has enough buildings so 22 people can come in at one time and they r not all brown houses. My houses r in groups of four. Room in between them. So far, it has never been full of handshakes. I have a list of my friends and check them off as they visit so I can sleep at night knowing there r enough for those who come in in the night. I do go into my other towns and clear the handshakes and visit my friends each day. Only takes about a half hour to get thru the visits. Have one that has written out Merry Christmas and has decorations around. Looks so nice. Wish I had a list of words that I could drop in a town when I see these awesome things they have done. I couldn’t believe it when I went to one of my towns and there was just one house. Lol. I admit I let that friend go. Don’t know how many people they had befriended. Hope it wasn’t a 100. Lol. Crazy

Good Grief Ladies….Julie and Mary Jo, you each have more than one town and I apparently can NOT muti-task. I have one town and sometimes I get to my town twice daily unless I’m at home working remotely and then I can play when I want because well….I’m at home. LOL
I’m glad you loved the picture of my winter wonderland Julie, the upper deck is off my master so it’s very nice sitting up there in the summer having tea. No, I don’t drink coffee….lol. In the summer the view is just as beautiful.
Sunday my hubby put up over 20 Cedar boughs on the beams outside that hold the deck up and this morning he called me at work to tell me the deer ate every one from the bottom up to halfway. I had a few choices words because they’re either eating my flowers or dropping their Easter eggs in my yard ( they look like eggs). I’m just waiting for the bear to come up the top deck again, one year he scaled up and ate bird feed and then scaled down and left a big present for us. We have removed the bird seed, never again. Our door up top is always locked because they’re smart enough to come in, one went into a friends house and grabbed the bread and went back outside and ate it. The nerve…..lol
Well, time to relax for a bit before visiting everyone tonight. I’ve managed to clump all 100 friends at same time so I have to do all 100 in the evenings. I’ll split it up again, it’s just easier that way for me.
Talk soon ladies and take care of that hand and quit bumping into things, either that or wrap it in bubble wrap..lol

It is so nice that u have a beautiful place to live in and that u enjoy. Sounds like u have the best of both worlds. Summer and winter. Right now we r starting our winter, but were we r it does not snow. This is the time we get the rain. My oranges r getting ripe and I will be sharing them with my neighbors.
I am retired so I am pretty sure I have more free time to play this silly game which I so enjoy. Also, this game makes it possible for me to meet people like u and Julie. So look forward to our talks. Gives me some good laughs.
Have to go for now because Wendell is getting ready for bed and I have some things to do for him. Like make crackers and peanut butter, make sure he wears his Depends to bed and he always likes it when I rub his back while he sits on the edge of his bed.

Hi, couple of goofy questions for anyone…
Is there an easy way to check how actively your friends/neighbors are visiting your town?
And is there a optimum number of neighbors? I have 40, and when I start visiting them, initially I’m collecting 30 points per, it gradually decreases to only 6 points per town. Regardless of their playing level.

-No. Unfortunately not at this time.
-For big events like Christmas personally I think 60+ is ideal. This way you can earn the max from them for the event. The more neighbors you have the more you earn. Of course they could do it like Halloween and make that mean nothing…. So it’s really up to you with what you think is ideal and what you can handle as a player.

I think I have ptsd from thoh still, whenever I see a small npc walking around my town I go to tap them right away. It happened after Easter as well!
And a little requesterino to EA is please allow fencing to turn on to sidewalk so I dont have wasted space. 🙂
Can someone tell me why it’s such a big deal for people to not have their town “vandalized”? As I understand it, doesn’t it help your rating on the conform-o-meter when you clean it up? The complaining about vandals is kind of annoying.
It actually hurts you more than it helps you. Vandalism drops you (and the person you vandalize) 5 points..but cleaning up only raises you 1 point.
But…personally I think vandalism is part of the game and I giggle whenever I get tagged or I tag someone else. However, everyone plays the game in their own way…and some people struggle to get that 5 star rating in their town…for those people they usually don’t want to be vandalized.
I caved on Crazy Cat Lady and Duffman because I happened to be playing at those times. However, I made it a point not to time my weekend around the rebate event, and that net spending for each item would remain at 150 donuts or less like I normally do.
Hopefully Barney will be mine someday, but unless something cool happens, it won’t be anytime soon.
Any chance they might include other “seasonal” holidays, like Hannuka and Kwanzaa in this year’s “Christmas” event? I think that would be really nice!

I liked getting the Staple Center and a decoration with a multiplier (or two, if the feast table also had one) for free, even though I did have to find somewhere to hide that ugly cornucopia table thing. I also liked the freemium Blinky balloon…a great Squidport decoration! Although I didn’t like the timed aspect of the Gil event, there were a lot of cool items available at a discounts and there was some clever dialog, too.
While there were definitely things to find fault with, I liked the break of having a slower-paced Thanksgiving event after the incredibly time-demanding Halloween event. Definitely need that breather before the Christmas event kicks in!

What date does the Christmas event/update usually come about? It’s the 1st here in Australia so I’m assuming later today for you American folks?
No, fairly certain it won’t be today. My guess is Thursday. However, knowing EA it could end up being right after Thanksgiving ends (tomorrow). No one really knows what EA has up their sleeves as to when it’ll release. I remember last year it was a week later than we all thought it would be. So who knows this year.

Hi everyone 😊 long time no see. I have a question, I just got an iPhone 6 and I wanted to download tsto onto it so I can play when I’m on the go. When I log out of the game on my tablet and log in on my phone should I anticipate any problems with this? If there have been lots of issues I won’t bother. I don’t want to start a new town. Thanks!
Nope you shouldn’t have any issues….you may get the “other device didn’t save” message, but if you’re logging out you can ignore it.
Truck-A-saurs is here!!! Hands down the coolest addition yet in the game, by far. Just to bad he cost 225 doughnuts….. I wish. I wish. Ive never even had and or saved that many doughnuts. Ugh!!!!
