Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Thanksgiving has arrived in Springfield! This Limited-Time event will only be around a short while (It’ll be gone be December 2nd), so make sure you get those Limited-Time decorations and buildings while they’re still around! For a little extra incentive let’s take a look at how the new additions to Tapped Out will impact your Conform-O-Meter.
The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and XP from everything you collect in the game. When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town. If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.
While the Thanksgiving event brought no changes to the Conform-O-Meter requirements, it did bring us a ton of new items to add to our Springfield. Let’s take a look at how all of the new “goodies” impact our rating:
Item | Cost | Category | Points | New/Returning |
Cornucopia | Free/15 Donuts | Vanity | 100 | New |
Outdoor Feast Table | Free | Vanity | 100 | New |
Stomach Staples Center | Free | n/a | n/a | New |
Rusty the Clown Balloon | $5,400 | Vanity | 440 | Returning |
Blinky Balloon | $16,500 | Vanity | 790 | Returning |
Santa’s Little Helper Balloon | $30,000 | Vanity | 1,070 | Returning |
Snowball II Balloon | 15 Donuts | Vanity | 200 | Returning |
Grumple Balloon | 25 Donuts | Vanity | 250 | Returning |
Stampy Balloon | 40 Donuts | Vanity | 400 | Returning |
Piggly’s Super Smorg | 140 Donuts | Gluttony | 10 | New |
Caged Tom Turkey | 100 Donuts | Vanity | 100 | New |
Heimlich Machine | 60 Donuts | Vanity | 100 | New |
Caesar’s Casino | 150 Donuts | Consumerism | 10 | Returning |
Caesar’s Sign | 40 Donuts | Vanity | 400 | Returning |
Truckasaurus | 225 Donuts | Vanity | 400 | New |
Because it is a very decoration heavy event, just about every item impacts your vanity rating. However, the Indian Casino will impact your Consumerism Rating (one of the hardest to max out in the game). It’s always nice to have a NEW building to impact Consumerism! And Piggly’s Super Smorg will impact your Gluttony rating. However, it’s important to note that the free building, Stomach Staples Center, has 0 impact on the Conform-O-Meter.
How is YOUR Conform-O-Meter doing? What new items have you added to boost your rating? What did you think of the Thanksgiving Event? Are you ready for Christmas? Sound off in the comments below, you know we LOVE hearing from you!
I finally reached 5stars on the conform-o-meter but did not recieve a 5% boost. Is there anything else that I am suppose to do?
No that’s it. Tap on your Conform-o-Meter and see what it says your % is.
I have but, alas, there is no change in %
When removing or putting back decorations, I’ve sometimes found that the Conform-o-Meter wouldn’t update until I refreshed my town (by going to Krustyland or the friendvilles list and back), so maybe that’s why you haven’t seen the % update yet?
I just tried it but still no luck 🙁
Is every single one of them at 5 stars when you tap on it?
Yes, all of them are on 5 stars…
What % does it say you have above it?
It’s 39.95% It was about that much prior to the 5 stars though. I bought loads of extra training walls to complete the righteousness in the hope of a 5% boost.
Well if you feel the numbers are off and not adding up…you can meticulously count them all in your town or contact EA.
Thanks for the info! Disappointed to see that the Stomach Staple Center doesn’t add any points to the Conform-o-Meter…I was really hoping it would add to Consumerism. Oh well… Still nice to have gotten a free building!
You can also use Coffee Karts (boardwalk only) or Khlav Kalash Stands to boost gluttony. I have a few hidden behind buildings.
Whoops. That was supposed to be as a reply to jammin184’s comment.
I always seem to be hovering around 4.5 stars, usually because of gluttony, might have to pick up the Hungry Hun or Piggly’s Super Smorg around Christmas
Christmas update?
That should be the next event..based on previous history.
I’m getting an update now. Any idea what that’s for.
Looks to only be a patch/prep but still checking
Thanks for the info! Too bad the free building isn’t consumerism, or at least something on the meter. Also would have been nice if the table fell under gluttony.
