Major Glitch, Game Lock Out

Hey there Hoppereenos. Bouncing by with some basic help.

So this event is HUGE. I mean REALLY HUGE. I think due to this many devices and games just can’t take the memory drain, causing lots of player to NOT be able to get in their games. images

I had an issue like this that locked me out of my B game and they had to roll it back to fix it (I guess 6000 Decorations are a bit much to have in a town. LOL.) EA is working on some patches to help. As it is too late to reach my contacts, I have to wait til the AM to get a bit more details, but…they are working as fast as they can to narrow the issues and get the patches out.

Here is what YOU can do to help. First make sure it is not something simple, like memory or WiFi issue. If the Basic Troubleshooting isn’t helping…then on to the next part.

REPORT IT!!! The more the players that call in, the higher priority it comes as they get a real feel for how many impacted. So Contact EA right away to get a ticket in. (This will also help you if you miss, loose, can’t get items and need something showing you couldn’t get in.)

POST IT!!! Go to the forums and add your name. As a cool poster I am familiar with there already started a feed, just keep adding to it please.

So go to the Forums and keep the topic “HOT” til it is fixed.

    I got locked out earlier in the event, told EA and evidenced that it was not a fault at my end. They fixed it quickly and were helpful. Have had a couple of minor load issues since but nothing major ( fingers crossed!)

    My husband’s game locked him out 2 days ago and is now working, however mine locked me out at the start screen Christmas eve and I am still not able to play. We have done all the regular troubleshooting.

    And my game has started crashing again at the start screen. Ugh great!!!

    I’m not sure if this is the correct place to post, but I couldn’t find a specific post for my issue. Once I hit tunnel 10, there is a delay before the next tunnel opens. Tunnels 11-13 only took about an hour to open (with me logging out and back in) whereas tunnel 14 has remained unlocked for over 8 hours 🙁 I have logged in every hour will no luck and was wondering if anybody else has had this issue and if there is something I can do to speed this up.

    I keep getting an error that the origin servers are down.
