Here we are again with the Elf Tunnels aka Santa Daily Tasks.

Now for today’s Santa Daily Task.Ā Just tap on the Elf Tunnel itself to be taken to all available Tasks.
Or tap on the Santa Daily Tasks Shortcut Icon in the top right corner of your Springfield.Ā 
Remember, if you have a task “stuck” or can’t get the next Tunnel to open try to go to Krustyland/Neighbors and back. Or exit out of game then go back in again. (It won’t let you start the new task until the other one is complete, this means to make sure ALL the money and items are collected.)

Again, you have plenty of time for these tasks. The 24 hour timer starts as soon as you being the first task. You can still complete the tasksĀ past the 24 hour time, but you will NOT get the bonus 100 Gifts. So I suggest plan ahead to hit the timer BEFORE 24 hrs if you need those Extra Bonus 100 Gifts Each day.

Quick tip for anyone without premium characters struggling to get the 24hr bonus on this task. If you keep one character out of the workshop and set all the others working and then kick the task off when they are ready to collect they will count towards your total. Buys you another four hours to complete the quest.
Ok, I know this probably goes for the “*****” session on Sunday, but is anyone else pissed at the gifts for the tunnels? I was hoping for things I haven’t already bought last year. Why do I need 2 Christmas trees and 2 elves houses? The decorations I didn’t want to buy last year, I have them now! Yes, I can sell them, but I had hoped for something more interesting as the tunnels went on. I was happy to get the decorations for the 3 mansions, but now I am sick of receiving double, if not triple of items I had before.
Today was the third time that I cleared the elf tunnel challenge, but got no elf reward. 100 presents and decoration were rewarded, but no elf.
Anyone else noticing this ?

Tricky one. I accidentily started this tunnel by making Willie make toys in tunnel 11. Lost five and a half hours before I noticed.
Is anyone else having the problem where when they finish a tunnel task it doesn’t show up as done, and they can’t do the next task? I’ve been logging in & out to get the next task to show up. Also, the last two days, I’ve completed all three tasks within the 24 hour timer and not gotten the extra elf or presents. š
the thing is you need to collect the money/xp to get it to register as done so you need to close the tunnel and the game collects it and then you can do the next one
hey guys it’s weird. on a town it shows me 20 donuts to speed up. in the other with less characters 26. what’s the correct number please? i’m going nuts.
it should be 2Ć7+4+2…
Maybe one character already finished the task or is currently on it about to finish.
from what i read it now it’s 26 if you want them immediatly and then they lower once you start the jobs. ok…
First of all, thank you for working round the clock at this event…so much going on!
Now, I thought Otto was supposed to unlock today to make items in the Toy Workshop…? The ‘Springfielders Make Toys x7’ task takes me to him, but there’s no option to make him do anything in the workshop. Eeeek! That first task clock is ticking away without him! *biting nails*
It happens at the very end of the Tunnel clear out. Once you complete the tasks in the Tunnel, the pop up after completion of them all tells you who else can now work in the Toy Shop. š
Aaahhh help! I rushed Santa Homer so I could send him with everyone else for the first task and now he is gone? It says his task is complete over with my task list but when I click on Go to nothing happens. I tried using the town hall as well but that didn’t work either. I tried hard closing and restarting my phone. I also tried going to Krustyland to see if he would show up there or if it would finally sync up. Nothing has worked. He has not flown by since I rushed him it is like the reindeer and Homer took my donuts a flew off to the North Pole. What is my next step to fix this? Thanks!

I did it says he is flying his sleigh and when I click on go to nothing happens.
He is in the Simpsons house. Every time he finishes the 24 hour task of flying the sleigh, he ends up in the house. Click it and he’ll come out

That’s not in the game yet. Whomever has that is a hacker or someone who had a hacker put it into their game.

This may be a challenge without enough freemium characters to finish on the first task without having some of them do it twice, but I’m aiming for those bonus presents! (Crossing fingers)
Very doable today, but only because I have SVT (who I won in a mystery box a long time ago). I feel bad for players who have no premium characters and, thus, can’t do the first task in one shot. (Although, 16 hours is still doable for some folks, I guess, who get up, say, at 7am and are able to stay up until 12pm.)
Happy to see my white houses will now get lights…this should have been yesterday’s prize!
Does “All Springfielders” mean all characters? I’m only getting toy tasks for Homer, Lisa, Apu, Ned, Squeaky Voice Teen, Milhouse, and Willie. Was hoping everyone could join in for a community event.

Is it just me or do the rewards this year seem to be pretty weak so far?
There are mixed feelings on it. Remember…the Elf Tunnels are bonus items. They’re items you would have found on the wheel last year..
Yes, but some of the items on the wheel last year paid out a % bonus or cash/xp. So far, none of the items this year do either.
Event is barely even started. LOTS more coming. Who knows. š
I’m not thrilled with the rewards from the daily tasks, but I really like the stuff you get from collecting the presents. The Frosty the Hitman prize is my favorite so far, and I’m still working hard to get Bonestorm Santa.

one of my towns only has 6 toy makers !!
The angel is cute! Also the first task would really suck for those who don’t have a premium chatterer because they would only have 6 characters available to make presents- Homer, Lisa, Apu, Flanders, Milhouse and Willie.
I clicked on the task and it brought up the task menu for characters, but there was no task for making toys. Do you have to have a certain character available?
Making Toys task is all the characters who can make toys at the Workshop (so Willie, Apu, Homer, Lisa etc.)

I have Lisa available to start the task, but my other toy makers are hard at work and have 1.5hr until they finish their toys. If I start now, will the toys that are already partly completed count towards the total of 7?
Yes they will count.
