Level 48 and the Conform-O-Meter

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well it’s Christmas in Springfield…but before we talk about ALL of the Christmas items and how they impact the Conform-O-Meter…let’s first talk about the newest Level to hit our Tapping Devices…Level 48.

Level 48 arrived in town smack dab in the middle of the Christmas Fun and brought with it 2 new Characters, some new buildings & decorations to help improve our Conform-O-Meters!

The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and  XP from everything you collect in the game.  When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town.  If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.

Of course with the release of Levels 48 many of the requirements to maintain 5 Stars on your Conform-O-Meter have changed, so let’s check it out and see what the new requirements are.  So now you’ll have all the information you need to maintain that 5-Star Springfield!

Here are the new requirements to maintain a 5-Star Springfield for Level 48

Level Indolence Obedience Consumerism/
    Gluttony
48     550      330       348/381
Tree-hugging
     /Vanity
Righteousness Socialism
35,275/52,370         271     2,766

Obedience, Consumerism and Gluttony saw no increase from Level 47 to Level 48, however every other area increase.  Indolence saw an 10 point increase, Tree-Hugging increased by 1,650 points and Vanity saw a 2,250 point increase.  While Righteousness increased by 10 points and Socialism increased by 126 points.

So now let’s take a look at how these new buildings and decorations Level 48 dropped in impact our Conform-o-Meter:

Item Cost  Category Points
Gold Navy $181,000
(Base)
Consumerism 10
Krusty Burger Oil Rig $8,000,000 Vanity 200
Barbecue Pit $100,000 Vanity 2,000
Beer N Brawl 140 Donuts Gluttony 10

And that’s the latest on the Conform-O-Meter requirements for Level 48!

How is YOUR town doing?  Are you maxed out?  If not what area(s) currently needs a boost?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we LOVE hearing from you!

My Gold Navy has disappeared….anyone else having this glitch? I logged off and on but that did nothing. Any suggestions?

  2. Thank you for a well written article every Tapper should read
You are more reliable then EA right now (yes EA is on my naughty list, they earned it today with an epic fail network experience any Tapper won’t appreciate)!

Merry Holiday to all (don’t let EA ruin it)

  3. I can’t get into my game this morning. No Bart screen, it just kicks me out. Anyone else with this issue?

  4. Has anyone started Part 2 of the Christmas Event? I waited an extra hour after Part 1 ended and still nothing on my end, all I got was a quest for Homer and Lisa. Any info? Thank You.

  5. Since that update i got a huge problem, impossible to finish any quest. Hope they fix the problem fast or I not gonna be eable to finish all the quest of christmas.

    • Is it that they’re not clearing? Try going to Krustyland and heading back to Springfield. See if that helps clear them

      • Thanks for your help. It didnt work. I remove the apps from my phone and reinstal and did nothing. This mornin, after the new update, everything is back to normal.

  6. I’m having issues with consumerism. I’m a fermium player so buying stores are few and far in between. On a high note, I only need to fill maybe one star in that category. Gold Navy only added 10 points? But the BBQ added 1000? We are talking that little tiny brick thing right?

    • It’s odd the things EA does

    • Vanity points are often more sizeable (though not usually that big!), which is why more vanity points are required on the Conform-o-Meter than consumerism points for a particular level. I think pretty much (if not all) consumerism items are worth 10 points each, whereas vanity items vary widely. But I do agree…2,000 points for the BBQ does seem a bit excessive!

    • Are “fermium” players related to Enrico Fermi?

  7. Hooray! A level with a new freemium consumerism building where the level didn’t go up. One more Kwik-E-Mart stored 🙂

  8. To one and all at TSTO:
Your kindness, patience and good humor makes playing a game most fun. Don’t go changin’!! Good Day.

  9. Wait – so the $8M oil rig only gives 200 vanity points?? That’s bizarre!

  10. Hey guys merry Christmas to you all! 🎅🎄
Just noticed on my other Springfield the lard lads donut buildings got some Christmas decorations! Looking pretty good! Dya know if this is coming next??
    Cheers! 😀

  11. why does my Righteousness meter fluctuate so much? Before the Xmas update I had 5 stars in all categories. Now my Righteousness is down to 1 star and the other categories are maxed at 5 stars. This isn’t the first time it’s happened either. Is there a reason for this or just a simple glitch?

  12. How do you know how many points you have?

    • That is a tricky part. Unless you want to spend all day counting every single item you have…it is basically going off the meter at the bottom left corner of your screen and seeing what % and star levels you are at.
