Oi to the world and all my favorite tappers and addicts! How the heck was your holidays? Get anything good from Santa? Enjoying your game? Since another week has come and gone in our lives… it’s time again for another Weekend Update to “wrap” up all the posts you may have missed or simply want to see recapped. Our resident Lady Addicts are busy compiling all that lovely info you’ve come to expect so it falls to the fuzzball to let you know the latest from the past week. Without further ado… let’s get to it…
After last week’s update… Alissa popped in in the evening to remind everyone to enter their submissions for the Addicts Holiday Contest. It’s closed and winner’s were announced. Check below for all that goodness.
Now for this week’s fun…
SUNDAY: Bunny kicked off the morning letting y’all know about the Missing Zutroy Glitch cuz she’s good like that. Hopefully this is resolved for everyone.
Wookiee then roared on in with a new edition of the Real Housewives of Springfield. This one focused on that lovely country home-wrecker named Lurleen Lumpkin.
A Sunday wouldn’t be a Sunday without another Open Thread for all your random discussions, etc. Alissa kept the tradition going of course. We love these and hope you do too!
MONDAY: Alissa started the day with a 2014 Christmas Walkthrough for King Winter.
Next came another Where Did THAT Come From for the Nativity by The Wookiee.
Alissa kept at it with another Christmas 2014 Walkthrough for Zutroy and brought you all the details for the 12/22 In Game Update: Apu, Frankincense & Donuts.
The night concluded with our Top 10 Finalists for the Addicts Show Us Your Lights Contest. It was so tough to pick only 10 but somehow we managed.
TUESDAY: Wookiee gaved more Where Did THAT Come From info for Zutroy.
Alissa then did her awesome informative gig like usual with info about the 12/23 Christmas Quests. As if that wasn’t enough, she aloo let you know just how Level 48 changed the Conform-o-meter.
WEDNESDAY (Christmas Eve): To kick off the day, it was time to show off who YOU picked as the Winners of the Addicts Holiday Contest. 3 lucky tappers hopefully got lots of sprinklies with their winnings. Congratulations!
Of course, the day also brought us Phase II of the Christmas Event…. Alissa made sure you had a new page to add friends for the second part of the madness. She also had all that rad info about Christmas Phase Two and the limited time Gil Donut Deal.
As we all tucked in to get ready for Santa and the big day… Bunny of course was cray cray as usual and decided the Eve wouldn’t be complete if she didn’t share a Christmas Poem, Grumple-style. Did you check out The Night Before Grumple-Mas?
THURSDAY (Christmas): Happy Yule-Thor! Alissa popped in with a quick post to wish y’all a Very Merry Christmas! Of course, all heck broke loose in TSTO and all three of us were with family in a much needed day off from the site. Hopefully every addict who frequents here had a great day and got lots of real presents. Thankfully it seems the havoc wasn’t too bad although we’re still sorting it out lol.
FRIDAY: As days off go, they end quickly and Bunny was right here in the AM with another Where Did THAT Come From for the Cabin Fever and Snowmen.
We realize our absence didn’t keep our readers from having tons of questions about Phase Two (especially considering the wretched Holiday lock-out), so Alissa made sure to answer a ton in her Addicts Question Corner: Phase 2 of Christmas. If you’re wondering about details from the second part of the event, I promise most of your questions are answered right there.
Alissa then brought you Turbo Tapping for the Phase 2 Questline and reminded you about Last Chance for Gil, Santa Flanders & Costingtons.
SATURDAY: We know you’ve been anxiously awaiting another one of Bunny’s calendars so to start today off, Bunny swung by with her latest creation to help keep you on track with your bell-earning.

I love the new buildings and things but they really need to upgrade the land available. I’ve got my town the way I like it, but I’m going to have to start taking things that I’ve work hard to build/design out to fit things. And I’m not talking about trees. Maybe go light on the next event to a alow the game designers time to add extra space.
Hmmmm…haven’t seen this mentioned yet and it’s probably obvious BUT is the Christmas House of Gold the same as the regular House of Gold? It seems awfully cheap at 10 donuts compared to what I remember paying for the first one. (Admittedly, my memory is insanely faulty.) Thanks for you and all you do!!

Hello, just received the elf bottler but can’t seem to get it to work. Instructions say to press and hold the screen and all nearby elves will be bottled. I tried holding the screen on the top right hand corner where the icon is and also in random areas close to elves with no luck. Any advice? Thanks…

How do you unlock the elves ride thing for krustyland? It only shows up in the menu in springfield and can’t see it listed in krustyland.
It shows up in my Menu when I go into Krustlyland. Did you check ALL the Menu icon links? Including the Santa Hat while there?

I’m not sure where to post this, I seem to remember a recent post on this site mentioning something about a small 10 or 15 doughnut bonus if you bought a premium character or building (posit ly even a special event character or building) and also had Krustylu Studios? I searched for this post but could not find it. Am I remembering incorrectly ? Thanks for the site yall rock! #BunnyHill
I think you remember the Alien in the Drive In and the Krustylu Studios. Though that has passed. I do not know if the quest is even still in the files, let alone completable. You can try at your own risk. Is that the one?
I’m confused. I’ve placed the control building and Fink said to frisk the elves for cogs when you catch them. I’ve cought some but, no cogs. Am I supposed to be doing something more or do you just randomly get cogs when you catch them & I simply haven’t yet?

Ummm I am talking about the 5 star on the conformeter that link you gave me took me to a calendar..and yes I read the guidelines and I am working on patience lol… But this was 5 days ago… Maybe a glitch

Bonus I am talking is for the Event. End of Calendar Items.
Bonus you may be referring to is the % you get for maxing stars and getting premium items. Yes…that is listed when you tap your conform o meter. It is the total you have over all…premiums included with conform. You get 1% for each start on Conform. So 5% total.

Okay thanks for clarifying. I thought once you get to 5 stars you get an additional 5% on top of what it already is.. But I got it I think.. Mine went up 1% so I’m on point… Thanks Bunny

Hey bunny i have a question not purtaining to subject… Since the 1st update for Christmas 2014 my qwiki mart no longer generates money and in krustland sideshow doesn’t generate balloons to pop!! Do u if anyone else is experiencing this and do u knowif there might be a fix soon?? It’s driving me CRAZY!!

Hi, I have already bought the ice palace and it’s fab. Thing is, I’m now thinking that it will melt like the snowmen Simpson characters do and I have completely wasted doughnuts. Is that correct? Thank you and happy new year in advance. Debby
As the event is still in full swing clear til January…we have no idea what it will do til after the event ends. So…will have to wait and see. I hope it doesn’t melt. or a donut purchased item, I don’t think it will.
Well the snowmen were donut purchases & they melt but I hope the ice palace endures. King Winters cave looks nice next to it

What thread do we write about how much we appreciate all of the time and effort you three put into this endeavor? Without your help, I for one would not get as much out of this game as I do. Just encountered an annoying glitch.
Logged in to fire my cannon. When I tapped on the fuse icon it turned into a handshake. I tapped that and got the 5 bells for the handshake, but the cooldown started over without letting me fire the cannon.
Report it please.
I’m curious……I’ve gotten a couple doughnuts from tapping on the elf launcher…then I notice that my doughnut count goes back to my original count…heard anything ??
