Christmas in Springfield has come and gone! But Winter is still sticking around! And with the couple of new Winter premium items that are limited-time it may be overwhelming trying to decide which items to buy and what to pass on. With that limited-time label on items I know it can be tempting to just buy everything you can. But, have no fear! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth your donuts & what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Stupid Sexy Flanders and the Ski Lift to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding Bunny Hill to your Springfield.
Character Skin/Decoration: Stupid Sexy Flanders/ Ski Lift
Cost: 150 Donuts
Bonus %: 4% on all cash and xp
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +1500
Size: 12×8
Pros:
-Premium skin for a none premium character that pays out at a premium rate, 50% on all tasks
-Ned has a quest that will use the Ski Lift
-Comes with a questline
-Lift is considered a decoration and earns a hefty 4% bonus on all cash and xp.
-Ski Lift is Animated
Cons:
-Pricey for a skin and building that doesn’t earn an income (although the 4% bonus is nice)
-Only has 2 outdoor tasks, and one of them requires Homer.
-Short questline (5 parts) and it requires Homer and several Ladies of Springfield.
Final Thought:
Personally this is one I’ll probably pick up. I like the look of the lift & he basically has the same amount of task that all premium characters do these days (including only 2 visual ones). However, he adds NO benefit to the second phase of the Christmas event in general. In that he won’t help you earn more bells. He’s also not an independent character, so you’ll have to “lose” using Ned to use Stupid Sexy Flanders. So if you’re looking to add another premium character..this might be one you’ll want to pass on.
Of course in the end we can’t tell you what to do, we can only guide you and let you know what WE would do. And in this case…I’m 99.9% sure I’ll be picking up Stupid Sexy Flanders. Whatever you decide just remember…this is a limited-time item. So be sure to make your decision before he disappears from our stores forever!

Well…the great part of being a mod, is that I can correct this before Alissa sees it. She isn’t a fan of the “typo police” but, then again, neither am I. However, in the spirit of Christmas, and my pledge to be “less Cranky,” I hunted down the post, and corrected it! Thanks for pointing it out…we try to be accurate, but it’s really hard to proof your own stuff.
Got this last year and still love it! I put my ski lift next to Mount Springfield and it looks great!

Had to get it. Makes me smile. Loved the initial two hour task where has to help the church ladies. Supposedly the bible is stuck in the floor boards. Turns out they had one of the ladies holding it down from underneath LOL! Wish it was a permanent task.
Just bough it! I only have 11 donuts left ; (
I probably won’t be buying this. I bought the donuts to get it but never received any donuts. So I guess I’m going to miss out on it. Honestly it kind of ruined me wanting to ever buy donuts on this game again.
Have you contacted EA about it? There was a major glitch going on with purchasing donuts from Gil…they are aware of it. If you contact them they’ll either refund your money or hopefully get you the correct amount of donuts 🙂
The same thing happened to me yesterday – I purchased donuts specifically to get this and they didn’t show up in my game. I contacted EA; they called me and were able to restore my donuts – AND they gave me some bonus donuts as compensation for their mistake/my trouble. Contact them – they are nice and easy to work with.
What do you do with it when snow goes away? Don’t like premium seasonal items.

I agree. This one took almost no thought before I clicked buy. It just makes me smile. Even the name “Stupid Sexy Flanders” just rings through my head in the voice of Homer. A must have.
He also comes with a new catchphrase .
If i had the donuts this would be a must buy. I just have to hope ill have enough fremium donuts saved up by next Xmas and they make him available agaain.

I usually make most of my donut decisions based on the math, but Stupid Sexy Flanders was one I just HAD to have 🙂

I like the ski lift and it’s to bad more characters can’t use it. I’ll be storing it after the snow melts.
It’s a classic, but I passed. I’m not usually a fan of costumes, but I just felt like the ski lift itself wouldn’t have fit in with my town.

Yeah he doesn’t really pay off in the long run for the amount of donuts but I had to have it. I smile every time I think of Homer saying “stupid sexy Flanders” and the animation with the task with Homer is great!
I thought the ski lift looked kind of cool, but when I saw it came with Stupid Sexy Flanders I had to get it for sure, Loved that episode…I can still hear Homer saying “Stupid Sexy Flanders”.

As of right now it doesn’t look like anyone new will be added. However, if you didn’t play last year some “new” characters (which are really returning from Christmases past) may be popping up between now and the end of the event..
SOOOOOOO hilarious!! Very happy I bought this. He’s been on the 12hr loosen up task with Homer ever since. Keeps me smiling and laughing every time I see it. The only downfall is that I only get to hear Ned say “Feels like I’m wearing nothing at all” twice a day! Absolute must buy, way too funny.
From one of the best Simpsons scenes, an absolute must buy for me!
Probably would have bought him if Flanders didn’t already have a premium costume with Santa Flanders. I also passed on Santa Homer, because Cool Homer and Mr. Plow already give me premium pay.
EA had me at ‘Stupid Sexy Flanders’…how can you NOT buy this? The 4% boost in cash and XP is great, and you get the joy of watching Ned chase Homer around Springfield for 12 hrs at a time in a ski suit so tight, it’s like he’s wearin’ nothin’ at all, nothin’ at all, nothin’ at all… 🙂
Normally donuts for a skin is a big no no for me but sexy Flanders is a must!
I had to get him. The ski lift is way cool and a terrific addition to my mountain edge snowy area. And the Stupid Sexy Flanders questline was a hoot.
I also added the ski lift to the edge of my mountain! Love it 🙂 And I like sending Flanders to ride 🙂
