Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
As Christmas nears an end in Springfield…it’s time to look back on ALL of the items that were added/at one time for sale through this update & try to make them fit somewhere in our Springfield. Through the 4 weeks of Christmas there were 60 new/returning items available for purchase or to win…that’s a lot of stuff to fit into an already crammed Springfield! With all of the new items added to Tapped Out I thought now would be a good time to take a look at how all of these items impact the Conform-O-Meter ratings (especially since this might help you decide what to keep out & what to put into storage).
The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and XP from everything you collect in the game. When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town. If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.
While the Christmas event brought no changes to the Conform-O-Meter requirements, level 48 did though, it did bring us a ton of new items to add to our Springfield. Let’s take a look at how all of the new “goodies” impact our rating:

That’s a lotta stuff! Lots of variety…although most of it does contribute to vanity.
How’s your Conform-O-Meter doing? Any items your surprised about? Any items you’ll put away because of what they impact? Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!
Ah, I live for the nuts’n’bolts mechanics of TSTO. You’ve no idea how much I appreciate that you guys post this info. Thank you!
I’m still surprised that the Spruce Caboose affects Vanity and not Gluttony. That’ll never make sense to me. Those silly Devs… lol.
I noticed a couple discrepancies, though, and request clarification:
Above you have Ice Palace as “n/a” but on the Should I Spend Donuts review, you list it with Indolence +10. Similarly, for King Winter’s Cave, the SISD has Indolence +10, but above you’re listing Vanity +20.

So, which is correct?
From time to time EA makes tweaks to things in the files. In this case they changed the conform o meter rating on the Ice Palace and the Cave from when it was initially released. Something they can do…since they don’t actually publish where it will impact. So in the latest files (the ones from today) it shows Ice Palace as no impact and Cave as vanity +20.
Sorry this took so long to respond to. I wanted to pull the latest files to double check…
No worries, and I understand. Myself and my OCD thank you, sincerely for your diligence! Thanks!!
Question, soon it will be too late to keep Christmas decorations out and soon it will be too late for winter items. I don’t want to leave winter items out year round but I will lose ratings. What do we do?
Us long time players… hide them. There is a LOT of open space behind buildings, houses, and at times decorations… so we hide them there. Out of site, but still earning that bonus % 😉
Is there a spreadsheet or some “tool” so I can tally up my items to see how many points I have?
No spreadsheet or tool. A lot of trial and error works best 🙂
Finally did it and got the overall 5 stars! Needed a whole bunch of Krusty Burgers and when they still weren’t enough, and I didn’t want to spend so much anymore, I got an extra four khlav kalash vendors which did the trick. Hidden behind some buildings just like the training walls 🙂
It is a shame that there are not more offerings. Myself, I buy one of each and get the rating I get. The game makers need to make more items. It is a shame people have to buy loads of one thing to raise ratings. I like my town looking like a real town….hate seeing 50 Brown houses all lined up.
Thank you for the Info
Guys add me: mema29
Hehehe, one thing I did notice was a bit of a “gun” theme, the two npcs, the cannon, the feds…
… and you could kinda include Giuseppe and the fireworks but that is a new years tradition 😉
Just look at all the buildings with gun noises when you tap them…moes, fat Tony’s compound, fort sensible, Herman’s military antiques, the legitimate businessmen social club, there’re probably more to come or that I’m missing.
Brilliant summary guys, a real handy run down for all. I haven’t had the chance to go through and see all the changes from previous years but usually EA is at least pretty good in this respect 🙂
Because of this post I just purchased my first premium item – the Happy Little Elves Ride for my recently-opened Krustyland! (Yes, I’m late to the party) Thanks for all you guys do!

Bob is murder on the righteousness rating. He shows up twice a day in my town now (probably because I had to go in so often during the bell tasks). There are only do many training walls I can creatively hide. If I could, I’d put a death penalty in place in my Springfield just for him. Of course , how to kill something with all the genetic engineering he’s had done is a question….
I’m half a star away from 5 stars, and it’s consumerism. 🙂
Its one of the hardest… I have done the multi-krusty burger / glup and blow / kwik e mart to get this and gluttony up.
And the pain of it is it keeps getting worse everytime we all level up! Ah the stresses of our first world 🙂
And hey fellow Ozzie!
Is there somewhere else I should be posting off topic questions? On several occasions I have seen my posts disappear/not get posted. Not sure if they get lost in the shuffle or they are in the wrong place.
I know every time we get them they get answered…so it might just be lost in the shuffle. Questions and Answers is usually the best place for them…
Ok thankyou 🙂
I was relieved to see that you just posted this – when you linked to it in your answer to me in a different thread, I thought I had just missed this post earlier and felt bad to have made you go looking for it for me. Happy to see it was just a case of my not being caught up on the content on the homepage! 🙂
This was extremely useful. Thank you so much.
Pleasantly surprised that the toy workshop doesn’t contribute to the the conform-o-meter. I’ll regain a great deal of space when I tuck it into storage!
How do you see your own conformity levels in terms of points? I’ve been trying to get my righteousness back up to 5 stars, but don’t know what tasks I need to do to do that, or even how many points I need in total. I’m currently at two and a half stars.
There is no way to see points wise where you are currently. That is something you kind of have to figure out on your own. Otherwise there are many links in this very post to the areas where to find how many points total you need. It is a matter of adding up the items you have. FYI… righteousness is the HARDEST one to get the. Our best suggestion will always be to buy and hide Training Walls around your town. It is one of the only things you can buy in abundance to help with Righteousness.

…The Christmas Float really only gives 10 vanity? That’s so incredibly low. That is going straight into storage after this event then.
J ai été obligé de ranger des bâtiments et voilà le résultat !

Mine says I get a 10.85% bonus. Am I missing something?
It depends on what YOU own and what star level on the meter you are at.
