Ooo a new Level! We’ve got our first new level of 2015 and TSTO and despite it featuring minor characters, it’s still a great level update! The questline is hilarious and makes you wonder just what really is in Gazpacho. 😉
So now that there’s a new Level in our tapping devices, you know what that means right? Time for another Turbo Tappin! So with that let’s jump right in and Turbo Tap the Main Questline (Freemium) of Level 49!
As we mentioned in the Level 49 rundown post the main questline is started by Agnes Skinner, and her desire for some “organized muscle” to clean up Springfield. This prompts you to build the D’Amico Summer Home, and wait 24hrs while it builds.
And for those that really don’t like spoilers (of any kind) here’s a quick list of who to keep free for each part…

Make Guests Attend Party- x10. Send 10 Springfielders to attend party for 4hrs each. Earns $175, 45xp freemium characters and $260, 70xp Premium characters.

At this point if you have Squeaky Voiced Teen you’ll be prompted to start the Low Costa Nostra questline. It’s only 2 parts and we’ll cover it at the conclusion of Breaking Bread.

And that concludes the Baking Bread questline. As mentioned above if you have Squeaky Voiced Teen you’ll get a 2 quest bonus that will popup. Here are those details…

And with that Level 49 is complete!
It’s a fun little update to keep you busy taping. AND the dialogue is pretty funny. You’ll be able to say things to your fellow tappers like “I’ve got a bag of gazpacho” and “I’m raking the cabbage”. 🙂 If you run it from start to finish, with out using donuts, it will take you 6 days and 4hrs to complete the Baking Bread questline and an additional 36hrs for the Low Costa Nostra questline.
My best advice? DON’T RUSH IT! Take your time with this questline and enjoy it. And remember…save those donuts for content. Don’t spend them on rushing. 🙂

Ugh. I don’t want to build the old abandoned warehouse. It’s frustrating for two reasons. One, there is limited space on the squidport and two, it’s boring and ugly.
I placed Suspicious Dirt Pile and finished the Baking Bread questline and even though I have Squeaky Voice Teen the Low Costa Nostra is not starting, it’s been a day and a half and still nothing, all my characters are free, what am I missing? Do I need a particular building for this questline?
Try doing a few things. Try storing the Abandoned Warehouse and replacing it. Then try storing the D’Amico Summer Home and replacing it. And finally try storing SVT and replacing him. See if that helps retrigger it. If not contact EA and let them know what’s going on. It should have triggered right away from SVT after you built the Warehouse

I’ve been on Lvl 49 but this hasn’t unlocked for me. Is it bc I still have to purchase Gold Navy?
Yes. You have to build the building/character from the previous level before it’ll unlock for you

I recently demolished my Springfield, and rebuilt, but cannot find fat tony so cannot continue with baking bread, can you help to where he is. Thank you.
I am very unhappy that the Old Abandoned Warehouse is a Squidport only building. I’ve bought & placed all available tiles & that wasn’t anywhere near what I needed. Now it’s even worse trying to cram this Warehouse in there somewhere 🙁
What are the dimensions, in Squidport tiles, of the warehouse? I’m trying to figure out how much of my lighthouse spur I have to demolish and how I need to configure my new pier to hold the new building…

Because it is like 1 section longer than a tile it will need a 2 deep and 2 wide tile section. With room for other items. (Tiles are 4×4)
*sigh* I had a feeling they would do that to me…. Couldn’t just make it 1×2 tiles? Oh, well… (It’s not the expense of the tiles I mind – it’s the wait time!!)

My game won’t let me place the old abandoned warehouse (needed for part 6). Any ideas?
Is it locked or just won’t let you place it on the land? If it’s the land issue it’s because it can only go on Squidport. If it’s a locked issue and you’re at the part where they’re telling you to place it, contact EA and let them know it’s still locked for you. But it won’t unlock until you reach part 6.

Help. When I tap on buy land button nothing’s happening. Where exactly is the new land located? I logged out of my account and restarted my phone but still nothing. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

I know I’m being just a bit impatient, but where did the chalk outlines come from? I did a quick search and the most relevant origin for the “Homer & Donut” outline was regarding an advert stunt for the the Simpsons Movie and some ancient, priapic land-drawing in the UK.

I put the D’Amico home next door to the Quimby compound– sharing a wall, in fact, with a gate. After all, if Quimby’s going to be in the pocket of the mob, they should have easy access.
How do we get the quest to activate? I’ve reached level 49 and all my characters are free, but I’ve not had Agnes say anything. Only “quests” I’ve had recently have been the one about electric cars and repeats of the early level quests like getting Apu to feed the Octuplets. Looking through the marketplace I also noticed that there is a Gold Navy building which has a quest line attached which is meant to unlock at level 48, but that hasn’t unlocked for me either. Is there something I’m missing? I haven’t built the Quimby compound yet (been saving up and events keep happening so my focus shifts to them since they’re timed events and I always struggle to complete them) so could that be it? Do I have to build that and do any quests which follow that before I can start the level 48 and 49 quests?
You have to complete the build for Level 48 before Level 49 becomes active (and level 47 before you move to level 48 and so on). Sometimes your XP level is higher than your game play level. Once your game play is up to date you’ll be able to progress to the next level.
Should I buy the Squeaky Voiced Teen?
He’s one of the characters you can get for free in the mystery box…so you might want to wait.

I want a lemon tree!!! The odds of getting it are reasonably high, so I can’t figure out why I haven’t gotten it yet. 😖

I’ve been playing for two years and never got anything premium except the jacket bench and the lemon tree from the boxes. I finally bought SVT for donuts.
I think Tappers finally got a Level Update that offers a New Quest which appears to last longer then 2 Days (yay!) 🙂
We get 2 Freemium Buildings + 1 Freemium Character (not bad, we’ll see shat else Valentine’s Day 2015 brings to TSTO) 😉

At first glace I though level 49 was underwhelming. I thought this long wait for just two building combos especially with characters I personally care so little for and just two premium decorations. This posts really does actually make me joyous of this update now. Still a tad disappointed there was no FP prizes. Nevertheless, lets hope this isn’t the only land added for the year!
Am I losing my mind or did I see a message about a pony? I got a notification on my phone and it was from Tapped Out and it said something along the lines of “Did you ever want a pony as a kid….” and when I clicked on it and went into my game, nothing came up…. Am I going completely insane? lol
I just got it too… mentioned pony, how about a pony’s head. A prompt to let you know about the mafia update.

You guys rock! Having a list of who to leave free is an excellent thing to have on hand. Looking forward to the “Where did that come from” and episode recap since I can’t remember where this new kid and the D’Amico Summer Home are even tho I have seen almost all of the Simpsons episodes. (Senior moments, alas)
I knew we would get level 49 soon and had saved up enough money for it…. Then the land expansions kept calling my name, meaning I got about a week or so before I have enough saved to start this level.
I’m sooooo happy they finally decided to bring back Michael D’Amico! And Don Vittorio, who hasn’t been since “Bart the Murderer”.
For those who don’t know who he is, he’s only had one speaking episode called “The Mook, the Chef, the Wife,and Her Homer” – episode 1 of season 18! 🙂 It’s a good episode…mostly mirrors the Godfather movie plot, but otherwise still fun.

so happy for level 49 today. Totally unexpected. I have no clue who this kid is but I did go a good 5-6 years of not watching The Simpsons. I’m sure as soon as WDTCF comes out i’ll watch the episode. Nice that the kid was freemium too!
