New Addicts Contest: Superbowl Prediction Time

Updated 10:30pm EST: The Patriots have won.  We’ll be going through the entries and those players who picked the Patriots will have a chance to win the gift cards.  Winners will be announced soon. 

The Superbowl contest is now closed.  Thank you for all your entries!  We’ll be waiting to see who wins the game tonight to determine which players have a chance for the free donuts!  Good luck everyone!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

This Sunday is Superbowl Sunday where the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks will face off to see who will be the Champion of the NFL!  All over the US people are making their predictions (and placing their bets) on who will be crowned Superbowl XLIX Champion and we thought why not get the Addicts in on the action too!

No, we’re not going to take bets on a winner…instead we’re going to give away free stuff!

Here’s the deal….

All you have to do is create your own Superbowl Prediction in your town.  Use decorations to spell out (or abbreviate) which team you think will win, the Patriots or Seahawks. Then take a screenshot of your prediction and post it here on TSTO Addicts.  The Addicts that correctly predict the winning team will be placed in a randomizer and we’ll randomly pick 3 winners to each receive a $10 Gift Card (for Android, iOS or Kindle)!  Here’s some examples of what you can do:

HOW DO I ENTER?
All you have to do is comment on THIS post with your screenshot of your team prediction. (You can use Flickr, Dropbox, or any other photo upload site you prefer to do it.  And if you need help taking screenshots we’ve got details on that here) Just make sure in the spot on the Comment form you put in your ACTUAL email address, as this is how we will contact winners. Only ONE comment per reader allowed. No duplicates accepted. Anyone abusing the system will immediately be disqualified.

All entries MUST be in the form of a screenshot from the game.  Simply stating who you want to win in the comments will not count as an entry.  Only game images will count as official entries.

WHEN DOES THE CONTEST START? END?
The Contest will begin as soon as this post goes live on our blog and will continue until 12 Noon EST on Sunday February 1st.  At that time comments on this post will be disabled.

HOW DO I WIN?
After the close of the contest, all winning predictions will then be put into the Randomizer (http://www.random.org/) and winners will be selected. Winners will then be contacted via email provided for information about which operating system they use.  Winners have two days to respond to the email or we’ll pick another winner.  Winners will then be announced during the first week of February.

WHAT CAN I WIN?
THREE random readers who correctly predict the winning team will be awarded a $10 Gift Card on their choice of platform. (iOS, Google Play, Amazon.) Nothing beats some Free Donuts.

Official Rules:

-Open to TSTOaddicts.com readers age 18 and older.
-Contest Entries will open from time the New Addicts Contest: Superbowl Prediction Post is posted until 12:00 NOON EST, Sunday February 1st, 2015. Any entries received after that time and date will not be eligible to win.
-Each contestant may only submit ONE entry! (NO revisions once submitted.  If multiple entries are submitted by the same reader only the FIRST entry submitted will be accepted. This means we will not accept multiple comments from the same person. So think hard before you post it.)
-All entries MUST be in the form of an in game screenshot.  Predictions in the comments with out an in game screenshot of your prediction will not be counted.
-Valid email address must be provided when submitting an entry. This will be how we will contact you to let you know you won. Invalid emails will be withdrawn and not eligible for the contest. (This is the email address you fill out and provided in the comment form, they are not published on the blog and only view-able by the Addicts blog staff. If you already created a Gravatar, just ensure the accurate email address was used for contact.)
-This contest open to EVERYONE.  However be aware that our friends outside of the US, 18 and older, you may enter the contest but an alternate prize may be awarded at our discretion if there is an issue shipping the prizes to you.
-Void where prohibited
-No purchase necessary
-Addicts Staff and their family members are not eligible to participate.
-You must provide platform information within two days of receiving the emailing announcing you won or you will be disqualified.
-All entries will be reviewed by the Addicts Team prior to posting results.
-Gift Card is valued at $10.00 USD
-This contest is not affiliated with EA, Google, iTunes, Amazon, Fox, NFL, NBC  or anyone else in association with The Simpsons Tapped Out, The Simpsons, FOX, NFL, NBC, EA, Amazon, Google, and iTunes.
