Well, it’s that time of year again where the commercials playing on TV guilt every person in the world to spend LOTS and LOTS of money on the one day they actually remember to do something nice for their Love.

First off, you know we love our readers and love our lil blog community. So much so we want to see you all in person. AHHHHH!!! So a quick reminder to check out the post from yesterday on the fun and exciting Addicts Meet & Greet coming up in March. We can’t wait to see you all and give out MORE goodies. (It’s what we do. Lol.)
Speaking of giving things away… I myself kind of giggle at this Holiday as I prefer those in love to surprise each other ALL throughout the year, not just because a Holiday told them to do it (no money necessary). I also get that life does get busy and we all need a little reminding to do something nice for that person that means so much in our lives.
Mainly, when I think of Valentine’s Day I think of Elementary School and handing out silly lil cards to all my classmates along with a handful of candy. Dropping them in those “Valentine’s Mailboxes” that were made out of shoe boxes or Cereal Boxes and LOTS of Elmer’s Glue. (Though I think most of it went in the kids mouths. Lol.)
Due to this lil memory, I thought it would be fun to make some Valentine’s Cards from the Addicts. This includes our New Valentine’s Images (that you may or may not have noticed in the new Banner). You can print them off and give them to one another, or print them off and put them in your home as a lil bit of Love from Us to You. 🙂

What do you mean. We did. Milos. Same one that made the originals and that is making many more. It is HIS choice just how much recognition he wants. If he decides for us to promote him more, we would be happy to do so as he is AMAZING!! But, his choice. We respect that. As for the Valentines, he did the images… I made the cards. 😉

I didn’t mean to imply you were doing anything wrong. I just didn’t see his name on this page and I really needed to know who this artist is so I can go stalk him across the internets. It really is amazing art. When does the Addicts webcomic come out? 😉
There is protocol when obtaining artwork for a site, so we just follow it. We also respect privacy and will not give out personal information when someone requests. 😉
As far as the webcomic… Lol. I had fun making the lil strip. Simplistic to not detract from the site, but to make an entire comic book… I don’t think my fellow Addicts would like so much as I am OCD with my creativity and would disappear until its done to my standards. HAHAHHA 😉
I really get annoyed with the cheesy commercials every five minutes on tv and radio, pushing flowers, diamonds, teddy bears, candy dipped fruit…..some of the neat things for sale go 50% off the day after which can be a plus though….my husband and daughter and I decided to celebrate Valentines with one of our single friends in honor of singles awareness day! Lol. We took her with us to IKEA because my gift from my husband was a DIY project to be completed this weekend. Then we all hung out at the house straight chillin! She was so thankful. I think I found a new tradition for Valentine’s day. Singles awareness! Good times!
This year was our first valentine’s as a married couple, so I was excited to get a card with ‘wife’ on it. Just cards for us though, no gifts. Still broke after the wedding last month! 🙂
My husband surprised me yesterday with new handmade (by him) wedding rings using a trench art technique my dad used in WWII to make rings. Then he had arranged for a vow renewal by our three dds who had become ministers for the occasion. They started out ala Princess Bride ” mawwidge is what bwings…” Moved on to some French ( the language of love and one we speak) and finally, of course, Klingon. We then went out to dinner and got home safely after northern MD was hit with a brief but nasty ice storm. Oh, did I mention billy Joel tickets? Yup floor seats for November concert. I have the best family.
It was 14 years ago that I found out I was pregnant with my son on Valentine’s Day. The first person we told was my husband’s Grandmother since Valentine’s Day is also her birthday. It was the Best Valentine ever!
This long time Tapper has to say I get more from this community of Simpsons Tapped Out Players then EA offered as a freebie today (talking teddy bear? that’s it? no wonder my Neighboreenos are leaving this game!).
OK – got that out of the way – so I must say that me and my spouse do not choose to use Valentine’s Day to express the joy we have for one another … we do this every week we have been together (no fake Hallmark holiday for us). I do enjoy what this game app used to offer but so far the Quests in 2015 have been underwhelming ….
Tomorrow I turn 46, if I had a birthday wish? It would be for more Freemium experiences in 2015 with each new Update and Quest (and we are long overdue for a new Krustyland Quest) 🙂
My husband and I have a special thing we did this Valentin’s day. My mother-in-law is sick with cancer and was given 2 months to live. She is not aware of her limited time with us. We went to her house today as a surprised and brought her food from her favorite resturant. We spent all day with her fixing things in her apartment and making it a little more comfortable for her. We even got her to laugh! She is very weak and is going down hill fast so this will be my most memorable since it will be our last chance to spend a Valentine’s day with her. Cherish your time and memories because it is all about the LOVE and not the gifts<3 I hope you and you loved ones all had a day full of love like my husband and I did😍

True or not, I read a post elsewhere, somebody received Fallout Boy instead of Sir Love a Lot, but when they logged in again, Boy was gone. They called EA, was told it was a glitch, but,
Fallout Boy should return in March.
Maybe true, may not be true.

I’ve never celebrated Valentine’s Day…. Until today when I went out on a dinner date. I got a mug, sock and chocolate gift set, a homemade mix cd of love songs and a nice card. Plus a meal out at an Italian restaurant. It’s memorable at least because it’s my first.

I don’t have a girlfriend so I don’t celebrate Valentine’s day… But I don’t really like the idea. You’re romantic every year the 14th of February but what about the rest of the year? If I had a girlfriend, it would be everyday that I tell her how much I care about her… Hem… Sorry I got carried away.
One should always be romantic year round, but make no mistake — if you don’t go for the Valentine’s day stuff, they don’t forget it. 🙂
Besides, when you buy her the box of chocolates, you’ll probably end up eating a bunch of them yourself!
This! I was starting to think I was the only one who thought this lol and because I’m female it’s instantly assumed I’m into it.
I cannot log into my game. I contacted EA and they are also having trouble getting into the game. They are working very hard though. Dang it!!

I remember those days also when the classroom was filled with hearts and flowers we had all made.. the mail box, and the day being one of fun and laughter. Thanks for bringing back those memories.
I got my valentine gift…. he is adorable. I just wish I could take him to K-land, I play a lot over there and he would fit right in with what I am doing there.. Right now it K-land is under construction.

I never did care much for Valentine’s Day. It’s just one of those random holidays.
It’s actually commemorating St. Valentine, a saint who died so people could marry, so please don’t call it a random holiday.
It has been commercialized a lot and turned into a random holiday. There’s more than one St Valentine and their memory is celebrated all over during the year depending on religions. So it kinda is random to do it on this day when you think of it and look at history. 😉
I really didn’t mean to denigrate St. Valentine in any way, but there is a Saint for most of the days in the year, so why celebrate St. Valentine but not the others? Also, when I was a kid, Valentine’s Day wasn’t really celebrated over here, it is a holiday that came from the U.S. similar to Halloween. There is just no tradition of observing it for me.

Most memorable is now because i gave the best to my wife this year with a red toaster, a red coffee machine, all the seasons to date of Mob Wives, Two Edible flower arrangements, real pink roses, stuffed Berry Bear and one valetine’s day balloon!

Hahahahaha! Wookin for love in Alderaan places…Love it! I am in agreement that you shouldn’t need Valentines Day to do something nice for your special someone. Really my favorite memories are actually middle school. (quite awhile ago for this tapper) that’s when it was fun and a little magical. You always had that one person you were hoping to get a special Valentines from! Now, unfortunately, I do believe it is commercialized. My wife and I kind of treat it like any other day. I hope you all have a great Valentines day no matter how you celebrate it! Thanks for all your hard work and making this site THE BEST Tapped Out site there is for us addicts!! Oh, looking at my schedule for March. Didn’t want RSVP until I’m positive I can make it!

So, I got the Valentine’s Day gift, nothing huge, right? Well I tapped on it just now and it ~talks~!!! I jumped a bit, not even kidding. I though it was a static decoration, but this is so cool.
