It’s Superhero time in Springfield! And all Superheroes need a Super Villain to defend the city against! Nothing says Super Villain quite like a dinosaur like character that squirts gasoline all over town with his gas pump hands, right? Now I know many of you are trying to decide if this gas slinging dino is worth YOUR donuts, but don’t sweat it! We’re here to help you decide what’s worth the donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add P-Rex to YOUR Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this Super Villian to YOUR Springfield!

Final Thoughts
Premium
This isn’t a bad buy, but it is on the pricey end of things. He is voiced, will help earn game currency & comes with a questline…but he’s still an obscure Simpsons’ character. As a premium leaning, this is one I’m leaning towards passing on. I just don’t think the price warrants the character…even if he does have 1 event currency task. Right now I’m 80-20 in the passing on category.

Honestly, save your donuts on this one. He’s way over priced for who he is/what he does (if you think about it Manjula (WAY more recognizable) is only 160 donuts.). I just don’t think his tasks and the building are worth the 175 donuts. Save your donuts for later in the event…trust me you’ll be glad you did!
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would/wouldn’t do…and I can tell you I’m leaning heavily on passing on PRex. However, whatever you decide remember this is a limited-time item and will disappear when the event ends. So make sure you make your final decision before March 24th or he’ll disappear from the store!

I passed on him the last two occasions he was for sale during the Superhero events. but I just bought him for 60 donuts, via the Superhero mystery box.
If you’re on the fence, it’s worth knowing that Petroleus Rex’s outdoor tasks are brilliant!

He has great animation.

If you want great advice ppl this is it.
If you have the doughnhts get bartman skin plus mr burns fruit man skin instead of the bartcave.
The cave will be offered again mostikely before mr burns fruit man skin and skins are always more collectable then buildings.
Although I’m thinking 90 doughnuts is a high price for the fruit man mr burns skin.
But if you a fanatic you’ll most likely get it anyway. Happy tapping..
I got him and I like the visible tasks! He’s really big and his 8 hour task is very animated.
I agree that he seems expensive, especially for being a villain(less progress for event).
Those that did purchase, is it o.k for you to tell me how much event currency his 8hour task earns?
That would help me to make my decision.

Spider Pig gets 30 pies for his 8-hour task, so I would assume it would be the same for Rex.
I didn’t purchase him.. He does have a benefit on consumerism which is the hardest to max… But I’m maxed out so I will pass
I purchased him, and I’m glad I did. I only recently hopped off the freemium approach since I always kick myself for not buying premium event swag. Glad I did because (personally) a T-Rex in a lab coat is worth every donut known to man.
Got him and he’s awesome!!!

I really want this, cuz I loved dinosaurs as a kid and heck ya he looks cool. I am a freemium player and rarely get anything that calls for donuts cause they take so long to add up.. I do have a little tip for us fellow fermium players. The golden scratchy R tickets from the Kwik mart I did 6 scratch offs and made enough donuts for plopper! Think I’ll do that for Petrolius Rex.
The tar pits is one of the things I requested in the past, so I feel obligated to buy it. But it’s so expensive. And it needs a task for Stampy/Homer….
Might just have to splurge on a Google Play 25 dollar card so I can get Plopper and Petroleus, but I mostly want the latter for the building from one of my favorite classic episodes….
