Turbo Tappin’ Superheros: Bartman

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Bartman has arrived in Springfield!  Time to party like it’s the 90’s all over again!  Snap bracelets,  Tamagotchis, Trapper Keepers and more!  (Fun Fact: My sister is 8 years younger than I am…and when I said the word Trapper Keeper to her she looked at me like I had 2 heads.  Clearly she’s not a product of the 90s like I am….)  So what does all this have to do with Bartman?  You’ll find out if you buy him!  🙂

So now that we have a new Superhero in our presence, you know what that means right?  No it’s not time to do the Bartman…in fact Bartman doesn’t even do the Bartman.  It’s time to Turbo Tap Bartman & his Walkthrough!  Here’s the super short version of Bartman’s walkthrough, where you’ll know who to keep free, when & for how long.  (Don’t worry, we’ll have the full dialogue up later, for those that love it)

So what are we waiting for?  Let’s get to tappin’ shall we?

And there you have it my friends!  The quick version of Bartman’s walkthrough.  A fun little questline, that if you ran from start to finish (without using donuts) it would take you approx 3.5 days to complete.  However, my suggestion is for you to use Bartman to attack Felons or for his 4hr Event Currency task exclusively during the event.  Then complete his questline once the event is over.  Typically EA gives you the opportunity to complete questlines for a bit of time after an event is over, so if you skip it for now you should be able to go back to it once the event is over.

Not sure if you should add Bartman to your Springfield?  Check out our Should I Buy post on him here.

What are your thoughts on Bartman?  How about his questline?  Have you added him to your Springfield?  What do you have him doing in your town?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. Lovin all of this! Catching felons is so cool! Hope EA lets us buy some more land, had to store a bunch of stuff! It’s all good!

  2. hey dudes….has anyone else seen a little red and yellow dude flying fast around the building in their neighbours towns, saw it this morning and it freaked me out

  3. I’m glad to have Bartman for nostalgia purposes… but I hate how his story is mostly inside. Haven’t really needed him to fight felons since I got Spiderpig and only one handcuff away from getting the Storefront (already have the Lofts and Apartments). But he’ll be useful for the Zenith Times building I’m sure.

  4. Bartman might not do “the Bartman”, but at least Matt Groening does! Always gives me a smile.

  5. I absolutely love this event! Sooooo much better than any Valentines Day event. Definitely worth waiting for and level 50 is the icing on the cake. So far I’ve got Bartman, Bartcave, Jessica, Shorty Pancakes and still waiting for Helen Lovejoys bldg to complete. Just wondering, will I have time to collect all of the Zenith City buildings?. I’m really hanging out for Zenith City Times but I don’t think I’ll be able to collect the Loft, Apartments and Shopfront too not to mention the phone booth. Is it necessary to complete the tasks for comic book guy to proceed? So far I have 88 lock picks, 15 capes, 9 handcuffs and 110 phones.

  6. I like the fact that they drop a new level in the middle of a big event but I wonder if it makes good business sense.
I notice a big drop off in activity amongst my neighbours when there’s nothing ‘big’ going on, wouldn’t it maintain their interest if the new level were dropped during one of the lulls? IDK. Also, wouldn’t more people be happy to spend donuts on Jessica if they weren’t saving their precious sprinklies for Plopper, Bartman and the Bartcave? Maybe.
    Oh well, I’m happy, so I s’pose it’s all good! 😉

  7. i was racking my brain on whether i should buy bartman, then they release the bartcave. i shirley (sic) can’t get both so mind made up. that would be like buying cereal with no milk. 🙂 now of course if i would have gotten bartman before i saw the cave i would have made do. i mean who hasn’t gotten creative with “no milk” cereal? i.e. creamer, water, kool-aid (not bad with fruity pebbles)

  8. No brainer. This was a must-have. The slap bracelet task sounds hilarious and timely, though I’m a little bummed by the exclusion of “Do the Bartman.” (Probably licensing issues, since they’d have to cut a check to MJ’s estate to use it.) Still, think of the poor old Millennials, EA!

But did you have Lisa Frank stickers on your Trapper Keepers, where you hid your issues of Sassy? 😉

    • hey i went to school with a deanna mcmillan from cannon mcmillan. lol no joke thought maybe her family made a generous donation to the school lol

      • Hehe…definitely not me. If my family had money to throw at schools, I wouldn’t be a (mostly) freemium player. 😉

  9. I seem to be cresting the wave! Each time I achieve the final level, a new one is added, love it! This is the best event ever, but I started with Clash of Clans…

  10. wildthornberry88

I don’t know what a trapped keeper is either XD maybe it’s American?

    • Lol. It is basically like a folder/binder that would “trap” all your papers inside and “keep” them nice and organized. 😉

It was all the rage in the U.S. for kids.

      • Oh yes! Brainwashed by all the commercials from my childhood, I was so jealous of my cool friends who had them. Lol. They had themes (tv shows, cartoons, video games), cool designs, and this awesome new, very loud stuff called velcro to keep it closed! Riiiiiip! 🙂
They started selling them again last year. Lol.

  11. I bought donuts back to get Bradine and up up buffet. And used the last on spider pig and Bartman. But only 8 donuts up again. Not enough for the bartcave and I bet its super cool. I was maxed on friends but no freebies there now. Still, glad for an update. I guess I got to keep getting pies, I’m already at 65,300 and still pushing 😉 still wont get enough in time for the baetcave I bet :'(

  12. After the first 12 hr task for BARTMAN, I got a 16 hr task to use the bartphone next. I never got the BARTMAN and Martin task.

  13. It’s funny. I was just talking to my friend, saying “You know, they seem to drop a whole new level on us every time they have one of these big events.”

Lo and behold! Level 50, right in the middle of this big event!

Not complaining, though. Love it all!

  14. Woohoo! Bartman Cave is here \o/

  15. Lvl 50 just hit, with Helene Lovejoy, Jessica, Bartmans cave!

  16. Level 50? The Bartcave? New stuff in the store? My head’s gonna explode now!

  17. Level 50? Helen Lovejoy? The Book Burning Mobile? The Bart Cave?

  18. Hey everyone, LEVEL 50!!!!!
