Superhero Prize Guide: Issue 2, Prize 3 …Dr. Colossus

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

The Superhero Event is upon us and Springfield has been invaded with Superheros, creeping Criminals & a whole new Comic Book look!  In the second Issue of the Superhero Event, action will slow down a bit as Clownface takes over.  You’ll see the questline require more prizes in order to progress…but don’t be discouraged.  For the lull in the questline doesn’t mean a lull in the action.  There’s plenty of Criminals to tap, Felons to clobber & pie, lots and lots of pie!

The Event is broken up into 4 Issues, with each Issue containing part of the Story.   To help you along with the story line you’ll get at least 3 prizes per Issue.  Each prize will help further move you through the story and uncover what comes next! For Issue 2 you’re tasked with collecting Pie Bombs to unlock each prize!  The third Issue 2 prize awarded at 55,000 Pie Bombs is Dr. Colossus an all new character for your town!

So let’s take a closer look at this evil villain and just what happens when you unlock him in your Springfield!

Dr. Colossus: With Radioactive Man out of the way, I have big plans for Springfield.  Some might even call them…COLOSSAL… MUA HA HA HA!

So what happens next?  You’ll have to wait until Issue 3 to find out…

But as you can see…Dr. Colossus is an important part of the story-line & will be needed for the start of Issue 3.

So What Can I Make Dr. Colossus Do?
Right now he doesn’t have a whole lot of tasks unlocked, as most of his questline will come with Issue 3 (like Clownface).  However, he does have a few tasks he can do…unfortunately none of them earn event currency at the moment.  But here’s a look at what he can do until Issue 3 Unlocks:

Task Length Earns Location
Laugh Maniacally 4hrs $175, 45xp Outside
Hatch a New Scheme 8hrs $275, 70xp Brown House
Activate Colosso-Boots 24hrs $600, 150xp Outside

Currently he has more tasks that are locked…and will require a quest that will trigger once you reach Issue 3.

So for now…don’t stress about the locked tasks.  They’ll unlock when Issue 3 hits…as more questline progresses.

Also…don’t panic about the story-line stopping for now.  It’s supposed to.  Once issue 3 hits it’ll pick back up, as long as you have Dr. Colossus.

So that my friends is the full breakdown the evil Dr. Colossus and just what happens when he arrives in your Springfield…while you’re waiting on Issue 3 to unlock!  (March 10th)

What do you think of Dr. Colossus?  Have you earned him yet?  If not how close are you?   What are your thoughts on the questline?  Ready for Issue 3 to start or enjoying earning those free donuts (remember for every 4,000 pie bombs you earn you’ll have a shot at free donuts!)?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. I’ve got 90,000 pie bombs and completed all of the collectors tasks and still don’t have Dr Colossus. I was really far ahead before but because of this I don’t think I’ll have time to complete the rest if my game ever lets me continue. What’s the best way to contact EA?

  2. Is anyone else not getting Dr. colossus?

  3. Dr. Colossus
    Zenith Times Building

2 mehs but this is still a fun event 🙂

  4. Well, that Zenith City Times building sure is disappointing. And underwhelming

  5. I was just playing and a message popped up, assuming it was someone visited my town so I classes it before I realized it was something about Bartman can anyone tell me what it said?

    • Probably that his Batcave is going away tonight. (I haven’t seen a message in my game, but I own it…)

      • As do I. I shouldn’t be so quick to dismiss. When is the Shindig in Jersey by the way?

        • March 28th

          • Still tickets? I’m one of those New Yorkers who is just perplexed by Jersey but if it’s near the PATH. .. Besides I have friends in Linden which I think is close they would freak if I crossed the river

            • Yup…going quick (we had to upgrade our room already) but still some available 🙂

You would have to take the PATH to Newark Penn and then transfer to the Raritan Valley Line to New Brunswick. And it’s right by the train station 🙂

      • Raritan Valley Line does not go to New Brunswick. You would have to take the Northeast Corridor Line from Newark to get to NB.

  6. love the character; rip sam simon

  7. Although it may be unlikely, I think it would be cool for a 3rd version of the tip-toeing criminals to appear with Issue 3.

With Clownface & Issue 2, they wore rainbow wigs and big red shoes.
Following suit, as Dr Colossus is the main guy in Issue 3, maybe have the criminals donning crazy goggles and over-sized rubber gloves?

I originally thought old-fashioned 3D glasses would be nice, but that could be misunderstood as a small nod to the wrong Doctor.

  8. Bunny, Alissa or Wookie does any of you know if death mountian will have a special ability (like how the 2nd prize for the last 2 issues) if you know please let me know!
