Hey there Hopperenos!
This time last year we announced the first invasion of LEGO Simpsons into the market. It hit with AMAZING Success. We were all sorts of giddy and happy about it too. So much so that we had a fun LEGO Contest on the site for our readers. Could this happen again? Well… you will just have to stay tuned to our site to see. 😉
In the meantime, I want to share all the cool info that My AMAZING friends at LEGO provided. Coming to a store near you in May 2015!
Something else really cool with this, The LEGO version of this infamous store will be physically unveiled for the first time at SXSW this weekend. Keep your eye out for the first-ever mobile Kwik-E-Mart Truck! (If one of you lucky readers can snag a really cool pic of you and the Kwik-E-Mart Truck, share it with us for a surprise. tstoaddictsblog@gmail.com 😉 )
The Kwik-E-Mart was one of the First locations to be dropped into our silly lil games with the Simpsons Home, so it seems pretty fitting that it follows the Simpsons Home in the LEGO World too.
There is just SO MUCH detail and items stuffed into this set, I will let the experts break it all down for you.

NEW LEGO MINI FIGURINES
Now for the OTHER Mini figures we are set to see launch along with the cool New Kwik-E-Mart.
If you take a REALLY close look, you will see some really familiar Characters from our game right now. WOOHOO!!!
Needless to say I am VERY excited to be able to play around with these AWESOME New Simpsons LEGOs. I can’t wait to share them all with YOU!
What do you think of the New LEGO Set? Will you be picking one up? Did Jasper in the Coolers make you giggle too? How about the Mini Fig Characters? Do you see some of your favorites in there? Will you be “feeling out” those Blind Packs to find your favorite? Let us know.

I adore the guys at Simpsons. They are a really cool bunch of people. 😉
If only it didn’t cost the cost of a small tv, then I would buy it.
Jasper in the cooler and the secret vegetable garden make this one for me! My daughter introduced me to TSTO and I’ve been an addict ever since. Last month we went to Springfield in Universal Studios, we love watching Simpson’s together and already have a substantial interactive voice figure and set collection. She already loves Lego’s, so I guess I already know what someone’s next Birthday theme is going to be. Now, I just need to add lots and lots of salt, errrr, shelves to the ‘Honey Do’ list…
I love these Simpsons Lego sets. I bought the Simpsons house when it came out…I will definitely buy the Kwik-E-Mart when it comes out. So excited!
I must be old.
When I was playing with LEGOs, a set did not cost $200. Even inflation adjusted. And it came with, well, LEGOs. I had to design my own buildings.
I don’t know when I last saw a generic box-o-n*100 LEGOs. They all seem to be kits – most linked to some “brand”.
…d
Agree 100% — when I was young, there were certain basic shapes and one made whatever one wanted out of those basic shapes. Need a spaceship? Lay out the Legos in a triangular shape, and build wings, landing gear, etc out of the basic shapes. It really helped push creativity and problem solving. Now, when someone wants a Lego spaceship, they buy a spaceship kit — nobody expects someone to design their own spaceship or figure out how to make wings or landing gear out of rectangular bricks.
I disagree with you. Loook at rebrickbe.com and ideas.lego.com. Hundreds, maybe thousends of new ideas how to build something!
Wow – I had no idea LEGO did stuff like this…the detail is Amazing! But $200? Yikes!
Love the Simpsons and Legos, but it’s a little overpriced for me. Then again it is the Qwik E Mart not the Try N Save, so I guess that’s expected! 😜
Now I have to get a Bartman to battle my evil Clownface in a battle of epic proportions. It’s gonna be Pies vs. Slingshot and only one will survive.
Is there a freemium version of the set?
😉
lol sorry…not this time.
HUGE fan of LEGO.
Have all the Simpsons figures from the lay wave of minifigures.
VERY HAPPY and surprised to see BartMan and Fallout Boy Millhouse as part of the set.
Extremely excited for ComicBook Guy and Professor Frink (two of my favorite side characters from the series).
And I gotta say, LEGO always impressed me with little details.
The fact that the garden is on the roof is a great touch!!
Wow! The detail on this set is beyond incredible! I’m not a collector of Legos so I won’t be spending $200 on it but I can really appreciate the work that went into it. Beautiful!
I’ve been a Lego collector my while life. This set will look great next to my Simpsons House and all 16 of my series 1 figs. I realize the price seems outrageous to some people, but the key word here is “collector”. People will spend hundreds of dollars on a single comic book, or millions of dollars on a piece of art. Most people on this site spend fifty, a hundred, a thousand, maybe more on donuts, myself included, for a few pixels in a game because we collect them and we think they’re cool. This Lego set is no different, it’s an awesome looking item that I, along with thousands of other people, will be buying and getting a lot of joy out of.
Do you get a free newspaper box after playing with the Lego set for 5 days in a row?
LOL… or a parking lot! 🙂
I don’t have any Lego sets as they are too expensive. I got a set of cowboy horse carriage from playmobil though.
I bought the house and I think it was a great one-off collectible item. I doubt I will be picking this up. Not as big and for the same price. Might look for some of those minifigs though. They are pretty expensive too though.
I love the set, but probably won’t be picking this one up. First, I’ve already got three bookcases in the basement devoted to various other lego sets (mainly SW with some pirates/LOTR thrown in). Second, I’m saving my pennies for the new S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier that came out – that thing is simply amazing
maggie is the same as series 1. lego should have given her another outfit.
I’m still debating on when I should get the Simpson’s house. Only place I can get it cheap (200.00 is cheap lol) is from lego online store. I got all 16 of the first wave of mini figurines, but I was lucky and only got 2 doubles, but I think this time I will just shell out if I can and get whole set at one time. now the store 🙁 I want it all but I have real life to deal with first
Awesome and absolutely can’t wait to add this to my collection.
I already have an entire room to expose my Lego SW collection so I understand ^^
For me it’s a new home that I need 😀
I wonder if Tappers will get a LEGOS tie-in with TSTO 🙂
LEGOS have become toys for the rich. Can not believe the money people pay for this stuff.
£170 for Lego ,what’s the world coming to!!!!!
Yeah, the price is RIDICULOUS!
It’s the sheer amount of pieces. Most that big are priced higher. That and you’re paying for a licensed product
Being an adult who enjoys building their larger sets, this is actually well priced. About 10 cents a brick is good, this comes in below that. I will most definitely be buying this and the UCS tie-fighter coming out at the same time. The Simpsons house was a fun build as well.
I’m so excited, I can’t sit still, lol. It will look awesome next to my Simpsons house! I may need a third shelving unit for my Lego 😀
It really is amazing. Sooooooo much going on inside it.
Are you going to get a chance to see it in person? Or have you already? I was bouncing off the walls yesterday 😀
😉
I got all the characters from the last set, about 12 out of 16 were from feeling blind bags accurately haha! The other 3 I got through the staff at the lego store’s expertise… I didn’t get the house cos it was too expensive, but I kinda want snake now… darn exclusivity!!
I just waited until someone posted the set on eBay and got them all that way, lol
Love the lego simpsons, gonna pick them all up
I’ve told you so 😛
Had to wait for them to lift the Embargo on the info before I could talk about it. Known about this since…October/November. 😉
Were you under an NDA, Bunny? 🙂
😛
I’m a true Lego fan but I don’t have any free space for Lego Simpson :'(
My Lego Star Wars collection takes enough space at home 😀
But this Kwik-E-Mart is a really nice !
My Star Wars Lego has spread off of the first (Lego) shelving unit and on to the second. I’m gonna end up needing a Lego room someday 😀
Hmm… Lego Homer and other characters n’ stuff could be a nice addition to our game as skins for the characters and the buildings. Nah, too much work would have to be done and just a few buildings wouldn’t fit in the game.
$199? hahahahahha! Oh, they’re serious.
