Superhero Prize Guide: Issue 3, Prize 1 …Super Jeb

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

The Superhero Event is upon us and Springfield has been invaded with Superheros, creeping Criminals & a whole new Comic Book look!  In the third Issue of the Superhero Event, action will slow down a bit as Dr. Colossus takes over.  You’ll see the questline require more prizes in order to progress…but don’t be discouraged.  For the lull in the questline doesn’t mean a lull in the action.  There’s plenty of Criminals to tap, Felons to clobber & freeze rays to get!

The Event is broken up into 4 Issues, with each Issue containing part of the Story.   To help you along with the story line you’ll get at least 3 prizes per Issue.  Each prize will help further move you through the story and uncover what comes next! For Issue 3 you’re tasked with collecting Freeze Rays to unlock each prize!  The first Issue 3 prize awarded at 14,000 Freeze Rays is Super Jeb. Because what’s a Superhero Event if Jeb can’t get in on the action too?

So let’s take a closer look at this super statue and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield!

WARNING Mild Dialogue Spoilers Below…

Once you’ve collected 14,000 Freeze Rays you’ll automatically be awarded Super Jeb and you’ll see this message popup:

Once you’ve won it, it will automatically be placed in your inventory.  So remember, you’ll have to go into your inventory to retrieve it and place it in your Springfield.

Once you’ve unlocked Super Jeb some dialogue will start up immediately between Homer, Lisa & Fallout Boy…

Super Jeb

Homer: That guy looks kinda familiar…
Lisa: Dad!  It’s Jebediah Springfield – the founder of Springfield….except for some reason he’s wearing a mask and cape.
Fallout Boy: Actually that’s a statue of Jeb Zenith – the founder of Zenith City and vanquisher of Sinister Shelb.
Lisa: Fascinating!  This is going to make a great history report.

  1. I somehow got a glitch, I have 2 super Jebs. it’s odd.

  2. I am hoping EA will eventually let us move the Zenith City and Superhero content to Krustyland, where it will fit better for me and be a good fit with the Radioactive Man ride.

  3. I’m expecting to get the Collider first thing tomorrow morning, I think it’s the very first time I’m ahead of the posts appearing on the site.
I like Super Jeb, there’s nothing like a statue for giving an authentic look to a town square, pedestrian area or a park. My town needs more statues!

  4. I have Jeb and Super Jeb looking at each other, enjoying some stimulating conversation about… I don’t know, pigeons, probably.
    Just got death mountain yesterday.
Is it just me, or does anyone else feel that Radioactive Man will probably save the day in the end? It just seems comic booky in nature for the dead hero to have actually survived.

    • haha I like it! (and yea that seems like that’d be the proper comic book ending, huh?)

      • As a matter of interest, have the issue 4 prizes been discussed here? I know you don’t like giving spoilers or publishing speculation as fact until it appears in the game, but that character outline is pretty distinctive so *must* have been identified by somebody… No? Has there been any speculation that I might have missed?
I’m guessing that you guys and gals know but just aren’t telling us 😉

        • No tey have not. And simply because they’re not released yet. Everything else is pure speculation until the update actually hits…

  5. Will get Death Mountain this afternoon and will also get my final handcuff. Now I’ll be able to craft all the Zenith city stuff and make a little Zenith city area. Loving this event.

  6. Already unlocked Death Mountain early Sunday morning. Should have The Collider by Wednesday at the latest.

  7. For those Tappers who didn’t earn the Jebediah Springfield Statue from a previous Quest (or Event)? Here you go! For the rest of us? Its just another free Statue (at least it improves your Vanity rating)! 😉

    • I believe you can get the OG Jeb statue at anytime by making Homer play on his myPad and then you just tap on Homer about a dozen times while he taps on his tablet. It should also get you some donuts.

    • The Problem Child

The regular Jebediah Statue is available to all. All you have to do is bring up Homer’s job menu and then tap him 10 times in a row. No event or quest necessary. Also gets 10 donuts. It’s an Easter Egg. The Jebediah snake statue was only available during the Whacking Day Event.

    • The Jebediah Springfield Statue is easy to get, free, and comes with 10 free donuts, too. If you don’t already have it, you can get it at any time. Here’s a link from the addicts team on how to get it. 🙂

  8. I’ve unlocked Death Mountain, but all the dialogue is between Colossus and Hank Scorpio. That’s great as I like Hank, but surely that can’t be the main quest line as Hank is a premium character? Is there some other quest line that kicks off, or do non Hank-owning people just not get the quests?

  9. Meh. Maybe if I ever find a way to make zenith city work in my springfeild I’ll place him. Death Mountain looks cool tho.

  10. Super Jeb is kind of a let down. It doesnt even have animation.
