It’s (still) St. Patrick’s Day in Springfield! And with all of the green water & beer comes new buildings and decorations as well as some returning ones. So, before the beer gets too warm let’s take a look at how these new and returning items impact our Conform-O-Meter…
The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and XP from everything you collect in the game. When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town. If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.
While the St. Patrick’s Day event brought no changes to the Conform-O-Meter requirements, it did bring back a bunch of buildings and decorations as well as added a few new ones. So let’s take a look at how all of the new “goodies” impact our rating:

do we know where the lofts, apartments, storefronts and phonebooths fall on the conformometer? I have one of each, but now that I can still collect more items until the end of the event, I’m trying to decide what to spend them on.

I’ve kept it Freemium as always, but since I’m more interested in the Hero Villain Event? I bought what New Freemium there was new to 2015 St Patrick’s Day (and placed where I could in Krustyland) and enjoyed the Quest silliness 🙂
Do you know if there will be anything added to the items we can craft? I have everything in there now, but I don’t want all the stuff I’ve collected to go to waste at the end of the event..

Why can’t I locate any of those items in the store?
Bring up your store and show the full list (where it shows all the icons). You’ll see one with a shamrock…that should bring them all up for you 🙂
I cant find that. I have the superhero icon to get those items but I can’t locate a shamrock .. I would send an attachment but it doesn’t look like I can. I have the superhero one and then I have the blarney castle and a bunch of “recommended” items but no shamrock 🙁

What’s the conform-o-meter benefit for the Sir Love-A-Lot bear? I know this is for St. Patrick’s Day 2015, but there was never one of these posts done for Valentine’s Day 2015 and he was the only new item in there.

Are the beer barrels permanent? They dont have a countdown like the other items. Im hoping they do, i need more stuff like that to go around the abandoned warehouse.

I contacted EA about the missing store items before I realized that they were just hidden in the drawer, and they gave me 50 donuts for the inconvenience. I have enough to get Barney! I was going to get Luann, but now that I have the 250…I think I might just get Barney

Any info on the beer fountain’s impact in krustyland?
Only impact listed is for Springfield, nothing for K-land indicated
As for a 5 Star rating, Don’t you get a 4% bonus at a 4 Star Rating? So 1% more. No big deal. Plus anyone who gets up to a 5 Star Rating do they really need more Experience Points or even Cash? What good is experience points other than advancing levels and I believe 90% of those with 5 Star Ratings are already at the highest level.
For me getting a 5 star rating and maintaining it is just a completion goal. It’s like having all the characters or all the land etc. It really does become redundant but it’s a completion, goal achieving thing.
Advancing xp levels helps to build donuts for me.

Any news on the Brandine issue yet? Just hit that part of the quest and I’m stuck with her on 63 days of pregnancy left. It’ll cost more donuts than I have to speed her up and I don’t want to store her unless I have to because that’s a lot of wasted time. It sure does feel like they’re penalising people who spent real money on the game here.

Not until March 23rd. Check your store icons…you should see a shamrock one. (ie expand your store menu)

I decided to get all Premium items including the blarney castle (which looks a bit bigger before you purchase it.)
Agree it should be bigger. Many of the plain houses are bigger than the Blarney Castle.
The Blarney Castle must be for the Leprechauns! 😀
