Friendship Level 14: Unlocking It Blows

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers,

How are my favorite Addicted Tappers doing today?   Racking up those FP’s by visiting your neighbors?  Just a reminder, remember to help out your fellow neighbors and clear those handshakes!  Are you in need of more Tapping Friends?  Remember you can always find friends on our Add Friends Page (and here for ones who pledge not to vandalize you)…the best (and only way) to submit your Add Me requests on TSTO Addicts!

So with the Level 50 Update EA also gave us the 14th (and 15th) Social Currency Event Prize…It Blows!  An all new building for your Springfield!  So now my friends let’s break down this 14th Friendship Prize.  Just want to remind you all with this update it’s important to remember to SLOW DOWN.  There’s no rush to get the FP’s, so take your time and enjoy it!  🙂

Anywho…It Blows is unlocked once you’ve unlocked the Stewart the Duck AND earned an additional 3,000FP…I know many of you have already unlocked it (sorry with 2 events plus Level 50 going on we go pulled in a ton of different directions) so this post will just be a refresher for you.  So what happens when you unlock this building?  Does it do anything?  Are there tasks associated with the building?  What about a questline?  Well let’s answer all of your questions by taking a closer look at It Blows now…

charactersets_helenlovejoy

Once you’ve completed Friendship Level 13 and earned an additional 3,000 FP you’ll unlock It Blows and you’ll see this message popup:

it blows1

You can also unlock this via Donuts at a rush rate 300 donuts if you have 0 FP.

Once you return to your Springfield you’ll find It Blows in your Inventory. You will have to go into your inventory to unlock it completely.  It will not automatically be in your Springfield.

it blows2

It Blows is an all new building for your Springfield.  While it has no conform-o-meter impact it will earn you $90, 10xp.  It’s also 4×8 in size and will take you 24hrs to build.  Once built and in Springfield some dialogue from Marge will popup:

Marge: Ooh, a place that sells air conditioners — now that’s COOL!  Hee-hee-hee!  How come no one’s ever around when I say something clever?

And that’s basically it for It Blows.  There are no tasks associated with the building.  So it’s another stand alone, unused building for Springfield.  At least it’ll earn you some extra income!

Now that you’ve completed Level 14 , what’s next?  Well it’s onto Level 15.  What does that mean exactly?  Basically the same thing it meant before only a level higher.  You’ll accumulate more Friendship Points, 5,000 more, to earn  the next Friendship Prize…the Canyonero.

Well that’s in my Friends.  What do you think of It Blows making it to the game?  Have you unlocked it yet?  Did you earn it via FP or did you spend donuts to get it faster?  Were you excited they added it to the game?  Sound off in the comments below…you know we love hearing from you!

  1. So, strategy question for FP’s: the amount of FP’s awarded resets each day (they were 2 FP per action last night). Currently, I’m being awarded 10 FP’s for my next 30 actions (Level 5). If I wait a bit longer, will they reset all the way back to 20 FP’s per action?

    Thanks.

  2. It Blows = its a Freemium Building, earns Simpsons Cash, earns XP Points and that is all (at least it doesn’t take up a large amount of space)

  3. Just to make you smile. When I first saw a reference to it blows I thought you meant the prize wasn’t so great. When I got the building it was an a-hah moment. Thanks for everything you guys do!!! This site is awesome and very helpful.

  4. My comment about “It Blows” is that the building should have been sized the same as Skips Diner, the barbershop, etc. The building is just a bit larger than these other stores, making it a little more difficult to place in a tight area.

  5. Any recommendations on prepping for Issue 4? For example, who should left free, are felons and criminals part of the issue, etc.

  6. Little update just for bug/glitch fixes?

  7. Out of curiosity, what exactly does Homer say when he gives a notification? I really can’t understand him 🙂

    • Usually…Better Him than me. Or company better put pants on. or just game notification

    • Sometimes he says, “Push Notification”.

    • I was wondering long time ago why my game just say “push notification” (unless an event has an own), while others also got the other sounds. Doesn’t bother that much anymore, but does anyone has the same issue?

      • They were trying to be funny. Most games have a specific sound or set of sounds for push notifications — so having Homer just say (slowly) “Push notification” is just a jab at the whole concept, as Homer has been known to do. 🙂

      • If I’m not mistaken, it depends on what has just concluded. Food ready at Cletus’ farm is “Mmmmm… Grub.” A character completing a task is “Better him than me.” If it’s Homer that just completed a task he adds “Oh, wait. That is me!” A building reaching it’s completion time is “Woohoo! New building!” (I think – it’s been a while since I wasn’t in the game when a building came ready…) When Springfield Downs is ready to race he “sings” Call to Post. And I believe “anything else” gets the “Push Notification” announcement; namely broadcasts at Channel 6 or KBBL. So if you’re always starting with broadcasts before sending your Springfielders on tasks, that’s always the notification you’ll get. I do that intentionally.

(Alternately, whatever identifies the type of notification isn’t compatible with your phone or something and you always get the default?)

  8. This came out last week, right?

  9. The name of the building is a bit cheeky.

  10. Theres an automatic update in my game. Is this gonna end issue 3? Im just a few ray guns away from the final prize!!! And the timer had many hours left

  11. Definitely a post title that could have benefited from a wee bit of punctuation. 😉

  12. No love for level 14.

  13. I put it across the street from King Toot’s like in the episodes.

  14. I just got it the other day. It’s a cute little building. I like it.

  15. Could you also do one of these for Canyonero? Thanks!

  16. Well there is kiinda a reason to rush. The faster you get max FP again, the sooner we can earn some more bonus donuts ^_^

  17. Lol, I saw the title of this post in an email popup and thought ‘What’s wrong with unlocking level 14?’
