Where Did THAT Come From – It Blows

In our silly lil game, we sometimes see things pop in that we have no clue as to their Origin. They seem familiar, but we just can’t pinpoint from where. So that is why we decided to make a fun lil reminder out of it. To let you know just Where did THAT Come From?

With Level 50 came the return of Friendship Prizes. The first new one, respectively the 14th of 15 total, was It Blows. Earning $90 and 10 XP every 4hrs for “Blowing”, you may find yourself wondering just where this air conditioning store comes from in the Best. Show. Ever.? Let’s wade into the show and find it in Season 9, Episode 3: “Lisa’s Sax”.

This of course is the episode to watch if you were ever wondering about the origin of Lisa’s saxomaphone via a drawn-out Bart story. The end result is a sweet moment that entails Homer giving up a much needed air conditioner to buy his precious daughter a sax. Of course, the only place to buy an A/C is a cleverly punny store named It Blows!

I love Homer’s second inscription on Lisa’s sax. “Dear Lisa, May Your New Saxophone Bring You Many Years Of D’oh!” I hope TSTO brings all my favorite tappers many years of d’oh also. What do you think of the new friendship prize? I dig it and will always think of Lisa when I see this building.

TTFN… Wookiee out!

  1. homer is supposed to buy a new air conditioner but buys lisa her saxo’mo’phone instead

  2. Next buildings I’d love to see are La Maison Derriere, probably with Belle and can come with a few tasks for Princess Kashmir.

Also another neat addition would be a Malibu Stacey themed update. With Malibu Stacey’s Dream House and Stacey Lovell and the Petrochem Petrochemical Corporation, to fit into my Factory District.

  3. I’m pining for the Monorail.

  4. Someone stole my burrito™

I love It Blows. To me this is ultimate Simpsons.
    I would love to see,
Señor Ding-Dong’s Doorbell Fiesta ! PLEASE EA! And
of course Señor Ding-Dong and his truck.

  5. I keep hoping for Stoner’s Pot Palace myself.

  6. Since I see a lot of comments about wishing what other buildings they want. I’m going to say I want the “Jazz Hole” and a holographic bleeding gums Murphy!

  7. I just wish it had a task assigned to it, or if it at least added to consumerism.
Oh well. I still like it and think it’s a good addition to my town. The Simpsons has so many seasons full of things TSTO can pull from.

  8. The Problem Child

I’m still hoping for “The League of Extra-Horny Gentlemen”, “P.F. Wangs”, “The She-She Club” and The Ajax Steel Mill.

  9. Has there ever been a Leftorium in the game? That seems like a real omission if not. I’d love to have some tasks for Ned to run his store and maybe chase the bullies out of it 🙂

  10. I placed ‘it blows’ inbetween the strip club and stomach staple centre with vulgari opposite! Lol they all just seemed to match in name : D

    • Funny, I have my strip club sandwiched in between ‘It Blows’ and ‘The Little Black Box.’ 🙂

  11. Glad to have “It Blows” in the game, but the one I’m really hoping for is “Britches and Hose, Fine Ladies Clothing”. 🙂
