Hey Howdy Hey Egg Hunting Tappers!
It’s Easter in Springfield! And I’ve got to say I’m pleasantly surprised that EA decided to release a Mini Easter Event in town. Sure most of the items are reruns from last year, but not an Egg box in sight! Plus, they’ve released a funny little questline to go with the event!
So now that we’ve got an all new questline, you know what that means right? Time for an all new Turbo Tappin’!
As we mentioned in the Easter rundown Ned and Homer get things started with a lesson in all things Easter. So what are we waiting for? Let’s get to Tappin’ with the quick walkthrough for Easter Fools!

And that my friends completes the short little main walkthrough for the Easter Event! Not overwhelmingly long, but still fun. If you run it from start to finish, without using donuts, it’ll take you approx 1 day and 10 hrs to complete.
Now a little “heads up”…there’s another questline I’m seeing that’s not supposed to start until Easter Sunday (4/5). It looks like this questline may award some premium currency. So you’ll want to make sure to log into TSTO on Sunday so you don’t miss out! Of course it’s not verified in game just yet, so be sure to check us out on Sunday. We’ll be sure to post the questline if/when it hits.

I was hoping that the quest line would end with the chance to get Temple Beth Western or Temple Beth Springfield. Oh well.

I’m level 50 and maxing out twice. Wth happened to the Easter update? You got us heavy into the superheros deal but I’m feeling pretty hosed right now. What’s the deal? Running out of new material unlike the Matt? The game needs to rock on. I’ve spent enough dough for donuts like a dummy so bring it…. Now!

Just bought 2 mystery boxes and got lard lad and NHL back to back 12 donuts for 200 worth of items…not too shabby

I wonder what would happen if I keep spending donuts. I started picturing “farming” Lardlad donut shops but then realized I was being greedy in wishing for another one….
I’m freemium but mystery box was too hard to pass up, I’ve been scratching donuts together and not sure what to get with them but it took me buying 20 boxes to get all the premium content. 120 donuts spent (had no idea I was spending that much! Addict) got 40 back so for a net spend of 80 donuts I got 500 donut value, tire fire, BHL, Kearny, SVT, 2 billboards, 4 bomb shelters, 3 kalkalash stands, 1 Onda, 1 minnow pond, 2 news vans and finally the lard land. Very happy freemium player, plus I got 4 donuts visiting friends yesterday so I’m only 76 donuts behind where I was 2 days ago. 178 donuts left now, seriously considering Akira now I have a taste for spending donuts 🙂

Akira’s a strange one. I’ve seen lots of posts from people saying they love him and highly recommend buying him. But for me he’s one of a very few that I regret getting.
Think very carefully before you spend your hard-earned donuts on him!
Why do you regret getting Akira? I’m curious, because he’s on my list of possible future purchases (though definitely not next in line…that will most likely be Bumblebee Man, once I finish the BLH questline and there’s a lull in the general “action”).

I know it won’t happen but it would be cool if on you’re birthday ea say gave you like 100 doughnuts or something like that.
I mean not everyone plays this game so I mean it wouldn’t break the bank and it would only count if you say spent ever a max of say atleast 30-50 dollars or more. Or give random prize generator and the more you spent on doughnhts for you’re account the better the prize you could win.
I think that would make more people that live the simpsons become fans.
So lame, I don’t even know know why I’m still playing, the mini quest just blows and like I care about the passover show me the eggs!

Not sure this is appropriate place to post this, but I’m still having issues with notifications post the superhero event. Even though notifications are turned off I continue to get notifications for the game. Any ideas how I can get them to stop without turning off notifications for all apps on my phone? Many thanks!
Make sure you have it turned off within the game AND on your device via the app settings for the TSTO app

Wait – so after Homer thought about converting to Judaism, what did he decide???? How can they leave us hanging like that?
(My guess is that he wouldn’t go for it, since I think there’s a lot of studying involved in converting.)

Anyone got any ideas for new characters for the game, my only idea would be krustys dad at the Jewish temple, krustys daughter at krustys apartment and krustys x wife at the army tent… Lots of krustys stuff
I’m very happy that Passover is being acknowledged during this event, but I think the task symbol should be changed from an Easter egg too maybe a piece of matzo during this stage! 😉

I got problem with my game whereby I couldn’t send my characters to their tasks as the task menu keeps closing before I could select. Anyone knows what I should do?
It seems to be going around. If you tap on the icon in the top left corner it should clear the problem
I wish that there was some way to know that a quest line has ended. Often the final task in the quest line doesn’t really seem to wrap things up (like on this one), and when no dialogue comes up I usually think I must have the next trigger character busy only to realize after checking here that it’s over. I’m not saying every quest line needs to end with a prize (though those are always nice), but a final popup letting us know it’s over would be welcome. I’ve thought this for a lot of the level quests as well as event quests.

Agree. 100% for all quests including when adding a new character. Sometimes I just wait for the next one to begin and it never comes. With some (not all) it says purchase X character to continue the quest. Something like that even.
This is the main reason I view these turbo tapping posts. Just finished the quest, but didn’t know because not all my characters were off task.
My blue haired lawyer I got in mystery box has not had any questline? Is it because I’m only on level 30 so won’t trigger until a later level?

Got Lisa homer and bhl free but still no questline. I read that bhl isn’t usually available till level 38 or something so I’m hoping maybe once I get there I might get a quest. Seems stupid them putting things in mystery boxes that don’t work for everyone.
I think you need to be at level 35.

I think it’s time for EA to give us a Jewish Temple for Krusty. We have a Church and a Buddhist Temple in the game, now it’s time for a Jewish Temple with Krusty’s father to come with it. Maybe for Level 51? We’ll have to wait and see.
It would be nice to have an Hindu temple too. For Apu! We have the Hindu god premium items in bronze and ice so far.
I agree that would be pretty sweet. Unfortunately I don’t recall a temple in the show. Closest I can come to that is “Kiss Kiss, Bang, Bangalore” (S17:E17) when Homer goes to India. Of course, we could get the Kwik-E-Mart HQ from “Homer and Apu” (S5:E13). The KEM President definitely seemed like a Hindi guru of sorts.
I was on the fence about the “new” boxes, the free one gave me a shelter, but i figured why not. 4 boxes later and I got Kearney, Tire Fire, Lard Lads, and the Onda. Not a bad haul! 🙂

New mystery box is a winner. Struck lucky and received Lard Land Doughnuts. I had been in two minds to buy for ages- as I had its Christmas skin sitting waiting to be used. Just to make the make the most of it, it is now Christmas and Easter in my Springfield. 🙂
Today I got the tire fire, lard lad donuts, blue haired lawyer, Kearney, Channel 6 news van and 30 donuts through the mystery boxes 🙂
I was very lucky. My freebie box was the tire yard and seven day box was a billboard. After reading comments decided to try my luck and spend donuts. #1: 30 donuts, #2:bomb shelter #3:Chalmers #4:Blue hair lawyer #5:Squeaky Voice teen. None of which I had before.
I might try for lard lad, but I really just wanted the characters.
Ok, this is disappointing… So that’s it? I was expecting a proper update, with squashing things and earning stuff. I even used donuts to speed it up and get to the ‘good’ part… Oh well.
We literally just finished the Superheroes Event. There’s usually a little break between events so it makes sense that this is just a mini event. Rule of thumb, if the splash screen isn’t different..it’s a mini event.
