Due to POPULAR request….we’ve moving up our open thread time so that our friends outside of the US can participate too! Let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Now…enough rambling from me….it IS Sunday and you know what that means, right? Time for another Open Thread!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.
So…here is your Open Thread. No new Simpsons tonight, but level 51 hit our tapping devices this past week. Were you excited for the new items? Bring back memories of early Simpsons episodes? What event do you think we’ll see next? Sunday Night Baseball tonight features the Redsox at Yankees, will you be watching? Do anything fun this weekend? Beautiful weather here on the East Coast.

Interesting conundrum… My Monsarno research building keeps telling me to update from level 7 to level 8 but every time I tap the update button the building tab reads ” Continue the story in Act 2 to unlock more upgrades.”
Any idea when this may roll out?
Until then I’ll just keep doing Cecil’s daily tasks, dropping seeds in friends towns and hopefully collect enough stuff to craft the farmers market.

Hi all and happy Saturday!
@tapebelt I couldn’t find a reply button to your comment. I’m guessing that it’s a function of the website setup. I’ve never really had a long back-and-forth with a neighbour yet so that’s fun. Yes, one must be responsible in the sushi choices one makes! I’ve definitely cut out pretty much all tuna nowadays but luckily Saba has saved my sushi day. Thinking on it, I’ve never ordered Ika in a restaurant but I do love that dried shredded squid you can find in stores. We now live in LA but Hubs grew up in a suburb of South Bay so where he lived is no excuse for not eating fish 🙂 Hubs went from kindergarten to high school at a catholic school with pretty much the same people and in a family that loved to bake but not so much cook. He got fish sticks on Fridays to cover that religious restriction and therein his family’s fish quota was fulfilled 😉 Luckily out on his own he has an adventurous streak and has tried pretty much everything at least once. We’ve never had the Real Wasabi, I do really want to try it but I think that once I get the Real Stuff the horseradish imitator will never again suffice and that’ll be a sad day for my wallet. Added your brother! And thanks to you both for the mutant seedlings you sent! My town is still nowhere near being done, sorry. Soon I hope, but I’m still stuck on my castles. Looking at your towns for inspiration! Sounds like you’re a teacher, that’s wonderful. What do you teach (if you are one)? Have a lovely weekend!
@cubde3dex love the Einstürzende Neugebauten recommendation you gave! Wow I’ve never heard such avant-grade industrial before. We started with Sabrina which was like a German Slow and spare Leonard Cohen. So good. Hubs thought that their own Sehnsucht would be cover of Rammsteins Sehnsucht, not so, but he thought it was interesting. I forget the other titles now but it’ll be something we look again for. Thanks!

As far as I’m aware the only way to reply to a comment once it’s more than a couple of layers deep is through the email you get if you subscribe to the tread. In the email you get a ‘Reply’ button for every comment, it links you to a text box on the website, just fill it out and hit send and it will put your comment in the right place.

We didn’t do an event specific one just yet, as we just posted this one just before the event hit.
Very happy tonight! Just got my free weekly Mystery Box and got 30 donuts!! (Very surprised, since I’d had bad luck with the free ones.) As some of you may know, the only premium item I haven’t been able to get from the new Mystery Box was Lard Lad. So, I thought I would spend some of my windfall on buying 2 or 3 mystery boxes, praying that I didn’t get another minnow pond or bomb shelter. Bought the first box and, BAM!, Lard Lads!
So now I think I won’t be spending any more donuts on the Mystery Box (since I’ve gotten all of the premium items) and just hope that the free ones are kind to me.

I purchased the forgotten grave and frank didn’t show up. What are my options? I shut my iPad down, I put the grave in storage and put it back out and still no frank. I would love to have what I purchased or a refund. Help please
