Terwilliger Prize Guide: Act 1, Prize 1…Monsarno Founder Statue

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s Harvest Time in Springfield and the Terwilliger’s have returned to Springfield to unleash Mutant Vegetables on us!  In the First Act of the Terwilliger Event you’ll unlock Cecil Terwilliger, Monsarno Research & help Lisa free the Mutant Veggies all over Springfield!

This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story.  To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act.  Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event.  For the first Act you’re tasked with collecting Spades/Trowels/Shovels…these things ico_terwilligers_spades_lg to unlock each prize!  The first Act 1 prize awarded at 1,050 ico_terwilligers_spades_lg is the Monsarno Founder Statue, a new decoration for your Springfield.

So let’s take a closer look at this statue and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield.

Once you’ve collected 1,050 ico_terwilligers_spades_lg  you’ll automatically be awarded the founder statue and you’ll see this message popup:

You’ll have the ability to place the statue in your Springfield immediately or place it in inventory for later (store).  If you store it, remember you’ll have to go into your inventory to retrieve it and you’ll see this message popup to remind you..

And that’s really it to the first prize.  There’s no questline, no dialogue, nothing telling you to place it in your Springfield to earn more ico_terwilligers_spades_lg.  Just win the prize and that’s it.

Here are some quick facts about the Monsarno Founder Statue:

Size: 2×2
Conform-O-Meter Impact:
Vanity +100
Where Can I Place It?: Grass/Pavement
What Does it Do?:  Not a whole lot.  It basically just sits there, kinda like the Jeb statues.

What’s Next?
Well there are two prizes after the Founder Statue, Fertilizer and Corn.  I’m not going to do separate posts about them as it’s pretty basic.  Once you unlock them it will add more Fertilizer or Corn to your Crafting Totals.  (Remember crafting totals can be found at the top of your event hub…Trophy Icon with the knives bottom right.  The totals will be in the top right of the event hub)

Here’s a quick breakdown…

ico_stor_terwilligers_fertilizer_200 Awarded at 1,550 ico_terwilligers_spades_lg.  This will add 200 Fertilizer to your total Fertilizer count (found in the Event Hub).  This is not a tangible item for Springfield, it’s just 200 Fertilizer added to your total on hand.

ico_stor_terwilligers_corn_200 Awarded at 2,100 ico_terwilligers_spades_lg.  This will add 200 Corn to your total Corn count (found in the Event Hub).  This is not a tangible item for Springfield, it’s just 200 Corn added to your total on hand.

Next Tangible Prize for Springfield…

ico_terwilligers_oldsimpsonfarm_unlock Simpson Farm House awarded at 4,200 ico_terwilligers_spades_lg.  This will be the next prize we cover in a prize rundown post.

So that my friends is the full breakdown of the Monsarno Founder Statue!

What do you think of the Founder’s Statue?  Thoughts about Fertilizer and Corn being a prize?  How about the event overall?  What are you most looking forward to?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. I’m making my Monsarno buildings look like a college campus and I’m using other buildings that have the same color scheme in there as well. This is the centerpiece! I’m loving this event! Even though I cannot play the game as often as I’d like to right now, I think I’m doing pretty good! My Research building is level 5 now and I’ll have the Old Simpson’s Farm by tomorrow (my birthday!) I can’t wait to see what Part 2 holds in store! (:

  2. I don’t like the hat. It kinda clashes with the statue. AND the Monsarno buildings. At least it can go on pavement.

  3. I have not had it appear on mine yet. How do I get it? I’m at level 35.

  4. I was disappointed that there was no quest or text with building Simpsons farm 🙁

  5. Has Monsarno Founder Statue:
    Has Simpson Farm House
    Will have Mutant Vegetable tomorrow

Getting these prizes has been easy, so has upgrading Monsarmo Building (its collecting enough to Craft Buildings that’s been difficult for me)
