FYI… If you did NOT complete a task from the prior day, it rolls over to be the FIRST task of the next day. You will lose the higher payout. So finish them BEFORE the reset or you will have it become the next day’s task.

It says i completed the last task and have one task left for the day but whenever i click cecil’s exclamation nothing happens. What’s up with that?
Try going through the event hub directly.
Not long until my final task of the day is completed, task lengths were 4hr, 2hr, 6hr, and 2hr.
I wouldn’t stree missing the odd 4th task or 2. It’s only corn and some trowels. I have more corn than fertiliser so right now I don’t think you are losing too much.
Mr Teeny just became a PC again! And he now has independent tasks! He’s currently on 60 minutes of buying cigarettes, and looks to have something for 3 hours at the Monsarno building as well (possibly the chimp building?)
Yes there is one its in the build menu.

I must be the most unlucky player here …another 16 shift expected! I wonder if it is because I am missing the last ones here and there that it keeps rolling over to the same pattern again? Either way I am not gonna lose sleep over it lol : p
Also unrelated quick question but I saw a beautiful hawk that flies and squawks when you tap it as well as a gorgeous tiger in a neighbours town …where or when are they from and how can I get them please?

I work third shift so I’m awake and able to do 2 tasks before 8 am. Then I start the third task before I sleep and have 3 done by 4pm so there’s plenty of time to get the last one done before the end of the day. This whole daily thing is working out perfect with my schedule. I love it!
Are the Daily Tasks only concidered complete after you tap on the thumbs up of the character after the allotted amount of time? I ask just because often times Cecil’s Tasks are scheduled to be complete just before midnight (after I’m already in bed) which means I have to wake up just to tap on the character. If I wait until the morning would I still receive the higher payout of having completed all the tasks on time?
No. Has to be complete and tapped before reset. Otherwise it rolls over and becomes the first task of the day with the smaller payout and no bonus payout
I’m really struggling to get the tasks done. I think the only way is if you stay up after midnight to start them off before bed – which I don’t! Yesterday I started the first one at 7.15am, set alarms for the end of the first, second and third so I could start the next one straightaway, and still didn’t finish the fourth in time. It’s kind of a bummer.
I didn’t finish my last Cecil task yesterday till after midnight so I got to “skip” my 4 hour task today and jump right to the 2 hour task. I will hopefully get to start my 6 hour task before work. These 6 hour tasks are too long!
I was two or three days behind the event calendar and just caught up today. It wasn’t that hard, but I logged in several times per day. I normally play on my IPad but just downloaded the game on my phone too. The screen is so tiny but I can sneak a peak at TSTO throughout the day easier this way. Definitely becoming an addict here.
Also, thanks to all the great staff that run this site. I am amazed at how much you do everyday. Your effort makes this game less frustrating and more fun!

Just unlocked the pet mutant and was disappointed (but not surprised) to find it is an NPC rather than a character. Not exactly a stunning top prize for stage 1, in fact the Simpsons old farm is the only real prize to speak of, and it is isn’t all that exciting. Maybe I was just spoiled by super heroes, but I’m still not finding the fun in this event.
I agree, the prizes in Act 1 have been decidedly underwhelming. I’m enjoying the gameplay, but I wish they’d’ve made Willie’s tractor the big prize for the end of Act 1 instead of a poxy NPC.
I finished all yesterday but today for me has been one hour than four hours.
My first tasks is two hours have a celebrity sent to a mysterious parcel…

Would you spend 16 donuts to get the fourth task (with the biggest reward) completed within the time limit? Or just let It roll over and miss the reward?

Annoyed. I’m going to miss task four by thirty seconds. I swear it was thirty ahead four hours ago.
I JUST got my tasks from yesterday done with about 90 minutes to spare…so far the closest I’ve come to being to late. I decided to actually take a nap yesterday, hence my close call.
That settles it: no more sleep until this event is over! 😉
I noticed some of the daily tasks are getting to the 4-6 hours range, so Tappers are forced to start early in the morning, then check their Springfield more often (or else use donuts ro finish on time) ….
My first task at like 12:05 was a 2 hour only.
I wonder why it is that my first tasks never match up with yours? And I completed all the tasks for 4-21 with like 8 hours to spare, so I know it’s not that carrying over.
And my second task was a 4 hour. So far I’m not matching at all, that’s unusual. But I still wonder why it’s so different for some of us.
We’re trying to figure it out too. Lol. That’s why I went with posting just my results. Sometimes one task is different in another game. Sometimes they all are.
And it’s not from carry over. Unless a carry over once throws the entire event off. Lol
Third task was 6 hour. So now I’m back on track and matching.
A carry over would throw the whole event off wouldn’t it? Only throw it off by 1 task, but wouldn’t that keep going day after day after day? Is that what’s happening to people, or something else?
As expected my 1st task was indeed a 2-hour one.
Not sure about my 2nd task. Could be 4 or 2-hours.
I don’t think I’ll avoid the 6-hour time for the 3rd task, though.
I shouldn’t wait too late to start that one.
