FYI… If you did NOT complete a task from the prior day, it rolls over to be the FIRST task of the next day. You will lose the higher payout. So finish them BEFORE the reset or you will have it become the next day’s task.

Off topic, but I have to shout out. Tapped enough mutants to hit 3000 (second time) and get my free donut chance – DRAT only got 1 donut, raising me to 46 total. Felt moved to buy a Mystery Box (my anal retentive nature 46 – 6 = 40, a round number) – won 30 donuts. Felt the urge to go one more round – got Lard Land! Am doing the Happy Dance, plus I can Finally can use the goofy Christmas Skin cluttering my Storage Box. Yippee!
I don’t know if this was mentioned or answered somewhere else, but does anyone know why Ned is considered a senior, in these tasks?

I completed Cecil’s tasks for today (4/22/15) and it doesn’t appear that I got a reward. When I completed yesterday’s tasks, I got 50 seeds but this time I didn’t . What happened?

The 50 seeds, do you mean the mutant seeds? Those were a prize. so what probably happened is you unlocked the prize as you finished the task, which gave you the mutant seeds. Mutant seeds are not a reward for cecil’s tasks.
Oh ok! Yes they were the mutant seeds. So what typically is the prize for completing Cecil’s tasks?

My tasks for Cecil today were 4, 2, 4 and 1.
My tasks haven’t always seemed to match yours (sometimes yes, sometimes no), but thank goodness they seem to do far today, so I’m assuming (or at least hoping) that it will continue that way, because I really need a short-timed list today!
uhhh.. so usually when i see an exclamation mark pop up over one of the characters i have grinding for fertilizer or corn, i will leave my town and come back, and the exclamation is gone. however, this time it remained over tom o’flanagan… so i said eff it and tapped him. long story short, the st patricks day questline from a couple months ago started up again. yes, this was the same questline that i had to contact ea and have them speed up brandine so i could continue on with the questline… which i did, and finished, and received the free stack of beer prize. and now the game is having me do it all over again it seems….
anybody run into anything like this? will i get the free stack of beer again if i go through the whole questline for a second time? not like i have a choice if i wanna get rid of this clover in my task menu…
so i logged back into my game a little bit later, and now the clover in the task menu is gone… even though lisa and oflanagan are still doing the tasks for it. guess i’ll see what happens when they are done…
after their tasks finished, it was as if the game never hiccuped. no further tasks from that questline have been issued since.

My first task was 4 hrs, my 2nd was 2 hrs. Mine has never lined up with yours. I prefer when the first task is longer because I usually go back to sleep after starting it, leaving shorter tasks during my waking hours.
So far, I’m not really a fan of this event.
I have had a 6 hour task and a 4 hour task almost every day. I am jealous of how short your tasks always seem to be…
I’d love it if they would always program a longer task first, like last night. That way, we could set a midnight task and get some sleep without feeling like we won’t make it in time.
On the final task now and another day where all of my tasks match the times you’ve listed 🙂

All three of my towns started with a 4 hour task
That is incorrect , the tasks for thr 23rd of April are 4 hours, then 2 hours,
I don’t know about the other two.

It varies per player. It’s not “incorrect”. So like it says in the post… YOUR results will vary. 😉

Actually managed to finish all the tasks yesterday and it’s looking good for today started with a 1hr task…which makes a change!
Really excited about getting a pet plant soon …I hope he needs feeding and watering aka little shop of horrors !! : D

I’ve found that up to now all my daily task timings have matched yours. Hopefully today is the same as it looks less of a challenge than those with six and four hour tasks in!

PS could you ask EA to add something that tells us how many green blobs are actually hurtling around our town? I’m never convinced I’ve found them all!

Interesting, I started at 4 hours with a kook protecting intellectual property. And, I finished yesterday’s tasks way before the reset. I wonder if it’s because I started so close to the reset that I am picking up tasks with different timelines.
My first Cecil task for 4/23 is a 4 hour task (send Pessimist to clean Brown house). I’ve only missed clearing all 4 of the Cecil tasks once. That time I had a 6-hour task that I started at 5:30 p.m. Before it finished I fell asleep, and when I woke up it was about 12:15, so instead of being the fourth task from one day, it became the first task for the following day. I’ve tried to keep track of my Cecil tasks for each day, but without much luck – they come and go too quickly, and I can never remember them in sequence to write them down later to compare with the daily posts here.
