The main questline is complete for now.
And yes…once you’ve completed the main questline, Random Tasks (this icon ) will be back. You’ll earn 100 Gas Masks for every task you complete from the Random Task list…just like you did with Act 1
You’ll also see a new task, for crafting. This one is to Craft the Gas and Grub….this is NOT required to move on. Just a task to remind you to craft it.
And that concludes the main questline info for this Second Act of the Terwilliger Event. A little more going on with Act 2 than Act 1…lots more involved and it’s good to See Mrs. K getting in on the action!
Remember…we always encourage you NOT to use donuts to speed up the questline. Donuts are always better spent for items instead of speeding up tasks/questlines.
What are your thoughts on the Act Two questline for the Terwilliger Event? Thoughts on the prizes/crafting items offered for Act Two? Are you excited for the more Terwilliger Characters? Ready for Sideshow Bob? Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!
Sometimes these side quests are too difficult to do. Because not EVERYONE has time to play the app every single day. People do work in this world you know and it’s harder for us then it is for others to acheive the unlockables.
My wife only even got a smartphone about a week before this event started and she played as hard as she could and used some of the free donuts she has earned to speed up some buildings, but got the opera started this afternoon. She won’t get to participate in the act 3 storyline, but she should have Bob once the building finishes, I hope, and still was able to get Opera Krusty and Dame Judith even though she was about as new as she could be. Getting Bob was doable, admittedly with donuts but none that she payed any real money to get.
Great….I’ve been in school and haven’t played for a a year and now I find myself using my, 100 donuts to speed up the quest line. I missed all of the Act 1 and Act 2 prizes and I’m barely on the task that makes More squish clones (currently waiting for them to regenerate).
I do have a question tho. The event ends tonight. I really only want sideshow Bob before it ends. If I am in the middle of building the opera house and the event ends…do I still get sideshow? Also do I need to buy a rake for Bob to do tasks with it?
Yes, you should. And you will need the rakes for his task, but that was an Act 2 prize…did you not earn them in Act 2?
OK, thank you EA. Because I am level 21 before the end of Act 3, I can’t get Sideshow Bob. So much time spent on this event and because I started this game just a half month before this event I can’t get get one of the most important characters. Really thank you EA, thank you 😡.
I don’t understand any of this…I have to upgrade Monsaro & the squirter in order to start the tasks needed to get Bob????
At least to what the questline is requiring…since it’s part of the questline.
I somehow missed act 2. I finished Act 3, can I no longer get sideshow bob?
You didn’t do the Act 3 questline if you don’t have Bob. I’m assuming you just collected the prizes? In order to get Sideshow Bob you need to complete the Act 2 questline

What if i don’t get to lvl 22 in time before the Act 3 ends, does that mean i can’t get sideshow bob, like.. never?
Usually when an event ends everything that’s part of it goes with it…so my guess would be yes. But with this case, I’m not sure if EA will compensate those who are at a lower level for getting SSB.
Still stuck thanks to Mrs Krabappel -_-. Now that we are on Act 3, by completing Act 2 quests I will get Music Notes as reward, instead of Gas Masks?
Yup. You’ll now get to move through the Act 3 prize track, so that means music notes. The only thing you won’t be able to do (until Mrs. K is unlocked) is get to the Act 3 questline. (and unlock Sideshow Bob). Beyond that you can still unlock the Act 3 prizes.
Sweet! Thank you :3
On my husband’s game he has not gotten Sideshow Bob or the Opera House. He is on level 8 on herbicide squirted and llevel 8 on Monsarno Research. He has no quest lines to do anything for level 2. Can he still somehow unlock Sideshow Bob?
What questlines are open in his task menu?
Hi, pushback part 6 isn’t starting for me. I didn’t realize the significance of the herbicide squirter and upgraded it after seeing this post. I got thru to task 4 today, but previously upgraded monsaro to level 8 before today. I upgraded it to see if it would work… Nothing. I’m at level 52 in the game, Monsaro is at level 10, herbicide is at level 4. Bart, quimby, and several others are free. Prize Level 2 is complete, currently collecting 3000 gas masks. Put town hall away and back out again, restarted game, suggestions?
A few tips on what to do if it doesn’t start can be found here

So how do we keep the righteousness meter up after unlocking Sideshow Bob? Mine is close to zero now, and the old Bob doesn’t seem to show up in friends’ towns anymore.
Training Walls.
Thanks for the reply, I just put up a bunch and that was a major improvement! It’s a shame they take up so much space though…
A) Can someone tell me if there is any special significance or benefit (to the game) for the rakes??
B) The un-highlighting of the tasks started for me last week with the 60m tasks being dropped… I’m glad to hear that I’m not the only one it’s happening to – I thought there was something glitchy with my game 😅
Thanks!

That post should help explain the rakes.
Thanks Alissa,
I was referring though to the stacks of rakes being offered for purchase in the decoration section. Beyond the brief character line I was wondering if you knew of any reason for 15 rakes/75 donuts…
They offer a bonus %…but no just for Sideshow Bob’s task. The more rakes you have the more he’ll walk around your town finding them
