FYI… If you did NOT complete a task from the prior day, it rolls over to be the FIRST task of the next day. You will lose the higher payout. So finish them BEFORE the reset or you will have it become the next day’s task.

I swear this game is like stalking me in real life or something. I’m in Australia and they play Simpsons reruns most days of the week and often when i unlock a building or character their episode is played within a day or so!! I unlocked stampy, his episode came on, i started the squidport, that episode came on, built the volcano lair, Hank Scorpio episode came on etc. etc. So often this has happened! And last night?, well they played the sideshow bob episode where you meet his brother for the first time!!! Love this episode, finally sideshow bob and Bart working together! Maybe the television network is like stalking my game or something?! HA!

I think I had a 6-4-4-6 day. That last 6 sure got me! I could have made it if it were a 5. Not worth the 10ish donuts to speed up just to get 100 or so more fertilizer. Sheesh.
6, 4, 4, 6 for me today. Will be the first day I don’t complete it, and I’m bummed. Too bad I had an appointment where I couldn’t check my phone… Oh wait, real life? Guess EA forgot about that when they assigned a 20 hour task day…

I feel like Sandra said on another thread… I’m complaining a lot on this one, and usually I don’t, since I play around the clock and can usually get everything done well in advance. Gripe, gripe, grumble, grumble.

I started this daily tasks just after midnight and will not complete the 20 necessary hours. That just set the tone of my entire mood for this event. I will play it at my own casual pace from now on, and not give a rip about what I craft at the end. I like a challenge from a game that has a fun factor, but this event is not it. It is not the story line or the free buildings that count. It is the pace of accomplishment that this mid-range to short term that holds our attention. This event is totally long range, and I just got bored to death with tasks that just spin my wheels… I like a game that is sweet and to the point, regardless of years invested… After today, I just don`t care…
P.S. I love the need to start an event from the moment of take-off. I love the need to stay on your toes every inch of the way to not skip a beat, to reach a goal. I just don`t like being intentionally tripped up at the starting gate of a twenty yard dash to make sure I don`t win that one. That was your daily task today… How many felt the fun factor today? How many waited until midnight to start and still did not finish? How many fun factor bubbles did you pop today?… Sorry gang, rant over…..
6-4-4-6 for me as well. This event quickly went from fun to grinding in a heartbeat, with even more fun being sucked out of it by having “prizes” that consist mainly of event currency and by having upgrades and crafting requiring the same materials. Bleh.
6-4-4-6! On the first day that I didn’t start just after midnight…cause I was sleeping!

I know this stuff is (likely) auto-generated, but does EA know that humans actually sleep!?! Sometimes… Not really a requirement in their minds I guess…
I try to stay positive with the game, but this pissed me off. I’m a very consistent player and even I can’t win this one. Bad form EA. Bad form.
Due to the unreasonable 6-4-4-6, this will be the first day I don’t complete. I always start the first task right after midnight. As much as I like this game, I refuse to alter my sleep for it.

Dude…I was alseep. You refuse to lose sleep over the game, I refuse to lose sleep over the site. Just like you don’t want to be up at all hours of the night on the game, I don’t want to be up at all hours of the night moderating comments. Have some patience.
General rule of thumb…if you comment between 9:30pm and 6am EDT and your comment isn’t posted right away…it’s usually because we’re sleeping or away from the site to wind down our day. We need to decompress too…
I was pretty sure it was blocked because other comments that were made much later than mine were posted. Now that I know they aren’t necessarily done chronologically, I’ll be more patient. Like others, yesterday’s 6-4-4-6 made me a little cranky about TSTO 😉

Yep I got that 6,4,4,6 time too, totally and utterly wrong. Good thing I work with people on the other side of the world so I’m typically up past midnight, otherwise never would have finished them today.
So I’m usually sleeping at midnight because, I’m lame and need my beauty sleep. Woke at 4:00am and checked my game and it started with 6 hour task. I’ve had 6-4-4 and now just started my last one and it’s 6 hours. I worked today so getting into game isn’t so easy when I’m swamped at work. It’s frustrating that EA thinks that these tasks are attainable. My time resets in 3 hours and I have 6 hours left on my task. Grrrrrrrr…..

That’s exactly what I got today. No way could I finish it – I got to task 4 at 8 p.m. and it was 6 hours. WTF?
And it’s not that there was a 6 hour task lingering from the previous day, unfinished. I had finished all tasks on 4/29. I started the 4/30 tasks a little after midnight.
6-4-4-? for me today. Unless the last one is an hour or two, I won’t finish. Won’t find out for another 2.5 hours.
Looks like you have another 6 coming, I feel your frustration.
Mine ended up 6-4-4-6 too! Even though I started at 12:15am I won’t finish by midnight as I missed the crucial checking times while working. I haven’t been too bothered by this event but I definitely don’t love it, just slow and frustrating. Easter 2013 was worse though.
Well, I will have to admit, I have reached my breaking point. Twenty hours of tasks, come on. So far I have been able to keep up with these tasks, but this last one, forget it. I am going to bed at a decent time and let the chips fall where they may. I am tired of losing sleep over a silly old game. Lol. Mary Jo

I too have decided to let the chips fall where they fall, it’s a game and one has to just play it and have fun. My tasks today are 6-4-4-6….impossible to finish for me because I worked today and again tomorrow.

Started at midnight first task was 6 hrs, follow by 1 hr and working on the 3rd task 4 hrs..wonder how long the 4th task will be.
I’m another addict with the dreaded 6-4-4-6 combo, and this was the worst possible day for it because of real life getting in the way. Oh, well! If I wake up in the wee hours, I’ll have a jump on tomorrow’s first task. Also made a really stupid mistake in placing the farmers market near the farms in my Springfield. It was way across town so I stored the brown house that was in my way instead of dragging it to another position. Unfortunately it was the one where Bart was 23 hours into The Soup Thickens Part 4, so now I have another 21 hours to go to complete that task. Tomorrow just has to be better!!
6-4-4-6 here as well. Such a long day actually makes me want to play less. Only by chance can I finish today.
