Today is Mother’s Day here in the US, a day when we honor the women who gave us life!
So a BIG Happy Mother’s Day to ALL the Mom’s out there from Bunny, Wookiee and I! We hope you have a fantastic day and your kids shower you with breakfast in bed, handmade gifts & no fighting! 😉

And now for our BIG Announcement…….
We’re adding a new Addict!
Well…in a little more than 5 months we’ll be adding a new Addict. A new and very Tiny Addict!
So for those of you that can’t read between the lines….my husband and I are very happy to announce that we’re having a baby! Due this fall…. 🙂
So as some of you may have noticed…I’ve been a bit under the weather the last couple of months. This is why. Ah first trimester sickness…so glad to put you behind me!
And for those curious…here’s a look at our official announcement that went out earlier today…
Very excited for this little one to arrive and happy to finally let you guys in on the secret!

Oh man I am so late! CONGRATS!! how exciting! So I guess you’re due in October? And you’re keeping the sex a surprise? My sister is also pregnant, due in September and just found out it’s a girl. There are going to be a bunch of smart babies born in 2015! According to the Chinese zodiac, your baby will be a sheep (or ram/goat depending on what you read) which is MY sign so you know it’s going to be a cool kid. 😀 Creative, starry-eyed, sensitive and lovers of art and nature.

We’ll keep it a surprise from everyone here (as we’ll probably do some kind of baby pool), but I’m definitely finding out lol I’m not a fan of being surprised. I like knowing. 😉

Congratulations! There are no words that can truly prepare you, but still I can say that the day I became a mom, was the most incredible day of my life (until all the ones that came after…) Life does turn topsy turvy, but that’s not a bad thing. My only advice I give to everyone, is go with the flow. Have a birth plan, but don’t be disappointed if it doesn’t go that way…have an idea about how you will parent, discipline, etc, but be open to changing the game plan…..and you will make mistakes – forgive yourself. We all think we’re about the worst moms in the world a good chunk of the time – but the rest of the world, and most importantly our kids, see it the complete opposite. Best wishes to you and your husband!!!
