Level 52 arrived in Springfield last week! With the all new level it’s Pizza Time in Springfield, as Vesuvius Pizza makes it’s way back to town. Now I know you may be trying to decide if this is worth YOUR donuts, but don’t sweat it! We’re here to tell you what’s worth the donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Vesuvius Pizza to YOUR Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this erupting pizza to YOUR Springfield!
Building/Decoration: Vesuvius Pizza
Donut Price: 50 donuts
Earns: $55, 5xp/hr
Conform-O-Meter: Gluttony +10
Size: 4×6
Where Can I Place It: Springfield AND Squidport.
Pros:
-Animated building. (GREAT animation!)
-Comes with a permanent task for Cletus, Chief Wiggum, Otto & Lunch Lady Dora to Grab a Slice of Pizza (2hrs)
Cons:
-Payout is ok, but rough because it’s every hr. Often hard to check your town to clear it every hr.
-Impacts Gluttony, one of the easier categories to max out.

Premium Take:
Personally, I think this is a GREAT building! At 50 donuts it’s a must buy for premium players in my opinion. Especially since it unlocks a task for 4 characters to use it! If you’re a premium player you should pick this one up!
Freemium Take:
Freemium players…I think this is one of the better premium buildings you can purchase in TSTO. However, I’d advise against using your donuts for this one…instead save them for building/character combos or decorations with high bonus %. But if it’s something you really want…it’s not a bad buy.
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would/wouldn’t do…and I can tell you I will be purchasing Vesuvius Pizza. However, this is NOT a Limited-Time Item so take your time with your thought process. Vesuvius Pizza will still be there in a few weeks. So if you’re on the fence or worried about saving up your donuts relax..there’s no rush to get it.

I was wondering how do you get it because I’m a level 54
Are you game level 54 or XP level 54? It didn’t matter (to a certain degree) what level your XP meter says you are…what matters is whether you’ve completed all of the previous levels’ questlines.
Check the level walkthroughs on this site and make sure you’ve completed all of them up to level 53 (including any levels that involve Krustyland).
Agreed with Sandra, however Vesuvius Pizza is currently in the Vault, so you also need to wait for it to appear in yours. It just appeared in mine today 😀

Building with 4 jobs, SPECTACULAR animation and I can place it on the squidport.
I have a little tropical section on my squidport with Just Rainsticks, Malaria Zone and the Tiki Bar where this will fit in nicely. Might be a little while before I have enough boardwalk tiles to place it.
I bought it when it first came out and I LOVE IT

Vesuvius Pizza – not a bad Premium offer for 50 Donuts, Experience Points and Simpsons Cash earned is decent, yes Gluttony is an easy traight to level up – but Building does come with permanent tasks for 4 Simpsons Characters in Springfield (I say but it if you got the Donuts because this is one of the better offers EA has brought to the Game in a while) 🙂

Heh something is out of sequence here, I’ve been waiting a few days for the SiB post on other items that have been in our games a bit longer, this one just pops in here today, and here is the SiB? lol Don’t get me wrong I do appreciate this post as I had been questioning buying this item also but….
Remember… there are multiple things going on right now. Terwilligers, Level 52, and now a tie in episode mini. 3 completely separate things all with SIB needed.
So we pull a lil from here n there to offer a bit from ALL going on. There’s a TON of content. Give us time to go through each bit. They’ll come in due time. 😉
Oh I know, and completely understand that. Just I’m the type when I have sprinkles I’m itching to spend them, and if I have them too long I’ll end up getting something else, and lose out on the timed item lol.
I typically don’t buy buildings without characters but this one is so fun. It’s a definite maybe someday for me. 😉
I’d personally spend my sugar fried circles on the waverly hills school. I know it’s got no jobs, I think it has no jobs anyway, but limited time sparkes a flame in me to spend donuts.
I’m tempted… I don’t care much about payouts, so that’s not really a big “con” for me, and, while I don’t really need ANOTHER Italian restaurant in my Springfield, I’d love to have the extra 2-hour tasks for those characters.
I think I’ll put it on my “maybe” list for now and give it more thought after the event is over.
I have to say, I’m on the fence with this one… I’m mostly Premium, but I’m rapidly running out of space and am trying to limit myself to buildings that come with characters. Still… I like the look of this one and I hear the animation is great (haven’t seen it myself yet, but this is the 2nd source I’ve heard about how neat it is).
Probably once I get some downtime and can get my city organized/cleaned-up (with all the back-to-back events lately, I’ve just sort of been throwing stuff around), I’ll buy this and put it on my Squidport.

There was only Pizza Hut back in the day so I got it within seconds of seeing it pop up. Then I put Cletus in it and had the best surprise! Who cares if I don’t clear it hourly, it has become one of my favorite buildings.
Put it on the boardwalk, fits in nicely I think.
love this building. two different animations (smoke plumes when untasked, crazy large eruption when tasked), and permanent task is 2 hrs in length. lunch lady dora has been eating slice after slice since i purchased it.
because of the lava, i did my best to make it look like an extension of death mountain, with the pizza place carved into the mountainous terrain. wasn’t sure if i’d end up putting death mountain away, but now i’ve no choice but to keep it!
