Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
This weekend, after a 1 week break, we’ll be doing another edition of Springfield Showoff! Where we want to see what you’ve done with your Springfield!
This week we want to revisit Monsarno…and see just what you guys have done with your Monsarno campuses now that two new buildings have been added! We’ll be putting up the Showoff post, featuring your designs, on Saturday (5/16). So show us what you’ve done with your Monsarno campus now!
So grab some screenshots of your town, or finish up those designs…just make sure it is there by about 8pm EDT Friday (5/15). Can’t wait to see what YOU have come up with.
Note: PLEASE try to limit your submissions to only 1-2 of your favorite screenshots. We like to try and let everyone showoff their town but it becomes difficult when some of you are sending in 7-10 images. Pick your favorite areas and send them in (or if you stitch photos together, that works too). We’ll try our best to get EVERYONE in, but please understand that sometimes we miss a photo or two. If we miss you one week, we’ll try really hard to make sure we get you in the next week. You’re always welcome to showoff your town, at any time, on our Flickr page. We know a lot of you have awesome towns that you want to show off, but please try to stick with this week’s theme. Remember, this isn’t a contest. There’s nothing to win. It’s just a fun way to showoff your town and get some design inspiration from your fellow Addicts. 🙂

I didn’t have enough space in my town to combine the Monsarno buildings and the farming stuff so I made two seperate areas.

i second this. farming area looks like a plot of real farmland, and despite the space constraints i know you’re dealing with, you really made it fit naturally into the area. awesome job as usual bro.

Guess I’m comment/pic illiterate. I tried to copy and paste (use an iPad) to no avail. I sent my pic via email instead. Any pointers on how to paste pics in comments for next time?! Thanks in advance.
Upload it to flickr or dropbox and then paste the image URL link in the comments.

Since the four craftable Monsarno buildings don’t earn income, I tried to keep my complex fairly compact. I was going to store them all, but I ended up liking how they look so I’ll keep them out for now. Hopefully I added the image ok, I don’t usually post pictures in my comments…

My placement is more of a story.
With the police force backing them, Monsanro continues to do whatever it is doing under the guise of potential for more food. The multitude of other-worldly trees and the spontaneously combusting bushes raise question, but the aromatic pleasantries of the tire fire keep the citizens of Springfield unaware that Monsanro is in cahoots with both the local farm land and the grocery store.

Well, apparently my comment from earlier didn’t work. Ah well, never participated in a showoff before, I do have some other parts of monsarno but this is my main complex. Still amazed I fit it all in.

Shame this couldn’t be put back a week or so, I have no flower walls yet and won’t be crafting them until right at the end. Oh well.
I might send you what I’ve got although there’s nothing fancy about my design – just a campus modelled loosely on a couple of places I’ve worked. Also it’s a bit of a pain that there’s an upgrade symbol hanging over my research centre – it’s either that or the ‘move’ icons… Another reason why waiting until after the event would’ve been nice.
Sorry 🙁 Trying to knock this one out so we can move onto other stuff (like Opera House and Level 52 etc)

Agree, same as cane fields (which I’m still crafting more of to finish my farm. ) I originally wanted a lot of the walls but change my mind after seeing them beside each other, it doesn’t really look that good. I posted my design on Flickr. I’m really happy with the way it turned out.
Its like playing Tetris fitting those building on that plot of land..

This probably isn’t the correct place to pose this question. But, I haven’t been able to find your opinion on captain Bob. I understand if you haven’t done one yet. I was honestly surprised that you guys have jobs outside of this page , plus kids and spouses. I have no idea how you manage to do such an excellent job but do appreciate your efforts.
