FYI… If you did NOT complete a task from the prior day, it rolls over to be the FIRST task of the next day. You will lose the higher payout. So finish them BEFORE the reset or you will have it become the next day’s task.

Do you have an guidance on the ‘running out the clock’ or ‘building toward the sky’ quests that unlock after the act 3 story? Is there insentive to complete these tasks?

I am so over this event. I was so happy to get Sideshow Boband exited for this event but the crafting and the tasks have just dragged the whole thing down. Who has time to reset tasks every 1-2 hours to earn enough items to upgrade the buildings and craft everything? I barely was able to get 1 item per act and now that I have unlocked Dame Judith they want me to continue upgrading the opera house and craft 10 items! Get real EA, even playing 24/7 it wouldn’t be possible. You had one of the greatest chracters in Simpsons history and this event should have rivaled the superheros event but it was such a let down.
Ok rant over, I had to get that one off my chest.
As the Addicts here have said many times, don’t bother doing that upgrading/ crafting quest – it’s optional and doesn’t yield much of a reward.

i got the 6,2, 2, 6 routine…or at least i’m assuming i will since i still have 3 more hours left of my first 6! hah.
but, i’m about 1200 masks away from the simpsons houseboat, which is #1 on my remaining craft list, then i might try for the decoy or i’ll just try leveling up the buildings for something to do. got dame 1 or 2 days ago but she and burnsy are living it up at the moment.
So far all of Bunny’s documented tasks exactly matched mine in my A game where I didn’t miss a single one yet. In my B game the last one from the previous day rolling over to (and completed on) the next day replaced the first one and the second task from Bunny’s list was the first one to trigger on that day, followed by the 3rd and 4th documented ones. That scenario would explain people seeing a 2h taskas the first one today.
Except I completed all my tasks from the previous day. I had no task to roll over, and I still got task lengths of 2,2,2,and 6.
I’m so happy for today task, I got 2,1,2,2 hours and already finished 🙂
My tasks have been a 1 and a 2 so far. I finally unlocked Dame Judith this morning. It felt like it took twice as long to unlock her as did the other levels. I all ready have the farmer’s market, smokehouse, and gas station. Now I want the houseboat, decoy, and sign, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to get enough resources for all three because I’d need something like 6000 more DNA and 2500 more masks. I think I’ll just grind to the end and decide how to spend my resources on the last day.
Is anyone else not able to get into their game? I got on no problems this morning, but every time I’ve tried since it keeps going to the video you get when you start playing (Homer blowing the town up), even if it synchronises and comes up with my ID. I’ve tried all the usual troubleshooting, plus logging out and back in again, but it just keeps showing me the video and going to the Bart screen – help!
I’ve got no issues. Double check your connection make sure it’s strong.
It could also just be a certain area of Origin is down temporarily…give it a bit and it should come back.
I still can’t get into my town! I can start right at the beginning & it says my ID & that I’m level 52, it even has the right number of doughnuts that I have, and all my neighbours are there, I just can’t get my town. Should I contact EA, do you think? It’s never locked me out like this before!

Since late yesterday and this morning I get the Bart page where it says that you can’t log in and to try again after 20 seconds or so. I can get in then after a while, but I’ve been getting that “can’t connect” page quite often the past couple days. Very frustrating!
On a side note to what I just said – I just logged in now and updates happened while I was logging in and I got some new stuff in the Store (Pet Mutant Seedling, Bare Chested Willie, Radish Station) all worth donuts, and it looks like when I tap on the Sideshow Bob clones, they get squished kind of different now, there’s like a slight time lag before the music note and either corn, fertizlizer, music note or DNA pops up on the screen. Anyway – maybe we were having problems logging in because of the updates, not sure.
Well, it’s not possible for me to complete 16 hours worth of tasks today, but, since I don’t really need any more masks at this point, I guess it doesn’t really matter too much. I mean, it would have been nice to get the extra notes to go towards getting bonuts, but it’s a very nice feeling not to be stressed out about this event anymore! 🙂

Another 16 hour day. Great! Are they thinking that we don’t need sleep anymore. Really had enough of this event now…
According to Simpsonswiki there are five more 16h days in the remainder of the event with the next two coming on Saturday and Monday.

Girl! That Monsarno upgrade hit my game today. I was like “you better go somewhere with that!” I got DNA to spend on crafts. I can’t waste on upgrades!
I have a crazy question. Apologies if you wrote about it and I missed it. But after completing the “parents prepare lunch” tasks, something popped up about the Happy Sumo restaurant. I clicked off of it too fast by accident (fat fingers) and now I can’t find it in my inventory or as available to purchase so I’m way confused. Has this happened to anyone else? Am I nuts?
Yup it’s an extra questline with Level 52 if you have the Happy Sumo (premium)
