FYI… If you did NOT complete a task from the prior day, it rolls over to be the FIRST task of the next day. You will lose the higher payout. So finish them BEFORE the reset or you will have it become the next day’s task.

First time I failed. Of course task #1 was 6 hours, then 4 hours, then 4? Hours and I left the house thirty minutes later and got home just before midnight and had task #4 to complete- which was/is 6 hours.
Really?! A 20 hour day! Even had I been home it would have been difficult.
Tonight, I sent everyone but my top five out gathering money- too late to earn1000 of anything and I am too blasted tired to figure out how.😝😀
I don’t understand how I’m supposed to do these daily tasks when my people are on 12 hour shifts to get masks. The math doesn’t add up.
my task for today were 4,1,4,6
My tasks today were 6, 1, 4 and 6. Got just over one hour before the last task will be done.
I’ve gotten the big prizes (Farmer’s Merket, Ga-n-Grub and the Simpsons Houseboat). Would like to get the Homer Decoy, but not sure if I’ll be able to get enough DNA before the time runs out on this event. Also debating whether to buy Brandine, or some other buildings or bonus boosters (like the Police Car).
Finally crafted the last item , only thing i wont have enough for is the bob bilboard and i am fine with that. Been a long one , but fun one and i have a ton of new stuff in my town .
Now if only EA would give me more land to buy…
Oh, and IMHO the Homer Decoy is creepy
I might be bored and tired of this event but I’m going to be OK with what I have to show for it! 2 Farmer’s Markets, the Houseboat and 2 Gas n Grubs by tonight. I may not have enough to craft more than 1 cane field or cactus patch, but I’m finally to 5 stars without spending donuts!!!!!!!!! Yay!

I still tap Sideshow Bob when I see him.
How long before I kick the habit?
Hi 4kids! I never was much of a Bob chaser. Though before I could build training walls I’d get Bob in Other Springfield over and over and over. 🙂
I’m looking forward to this event ending but part of me wants an extension to get the decoy. I’m torn. I’ll definitely get withdrawal symptoms afterwards after tapping day and late into the night for weeks.
I hope there’s a gap until the next event so I can regroup, collect some money, and finish some of the new quests and money mountain that I’ve put off to prioritise getting event currency.
I will not miss this event when it is over. It feels like drudgery. A lot of tapping and counting with very little to show for it all.
I second that emotion. It took me 2d into act 3 to be able to craft the Gas n Grub from act 2. Not very hopeful will get the boat or Homer decoy.

So far today I am at 4, 4, and 4. Looks like another long day to follow the 18 hours in tasks yesterday.
I have always enjoyed all previous events (even the Easter one which everyone else seemed to not like) but I am so fed up if this one!! All the time spent collecting things to level up buildings (that I’m only going to put in my inventory) and I’ve only got 2 of the craftable items!!! I hope they drastically change tactic for the next event!
I think I’ve had enough now…looking forward to the end! There’s no way I’ll ever get enough dna for the homer decoy but I have everything else so happy none the less. The event overall has been quite exhausting but also full of highs and lows. At the end of the day I do have Bob and am very pleased he’s here to stay! I think we will all welcome a little rest xx
I am so looking forward to the end of the event. I have spend so much time collecting, upgrading and tapping (even spend some donuts though not much) and still not crafted everything. And with 1 1/2 days left I will not make it (w/o donuts and I am not willing to spend more). Perhaps just the wrong strategy or something but this is really annoying. The event lasted way to long.
I don’t think we’re meant to “craft everything” anymore than a store expects you to buy one of everything that it has. I think the idea is to pick a few things that you want most, and then work to earn enough materials to earn those.
With diligent play, it should be possible to earn the three “biggest” prizes (farmer’s market, Gas and Grub, and houseboat), plus a maybe a few of some of the smaller things. Without spending any donuts, I’ve gotten the big three, two cane fields, a couple of extra ticket booths, and an extra farmer’s market, and I’m collecting now to hopefully get a couple of flower walls and maybe another Gas and Grub (but I don’t know what I’ll actually be able to earn in the remaining time). If I don’t get anything other than what I’ve gotten (which also includes a whole bunch of free stuff – 2 free characters, 6 free buildings, opera seats and ticket booth, an NPC, and probably other stuff I’m not thinking of), I’d consider this a taxing, but generous, event.

I am at 4,1,4 so far if the last one is 6 that will be a long day. I am so sick of my first one almost always being different than the list & the 6 hr ones thrown in. Sometimes more than the 1st one are different than the list too.

exactly what I had. just finishing my 6 hour task. 2 more days of tasks to go. got all I need I think, but will save up all my masks etc till final day to see what else I can afford. thanks for all your helpful advise during this event, made my gameplay easy. bring on the next one

Hi, should I get the Simpsons boat house? Does it come with a quest? The other option is to get the homer decoy. What would you recommend?
I like the house boat over the decoy because it’ll earn you cash and xp. But the decoy is cool too. Honestly crash whichever you’d prefer to have

Yesterday my tasks were 6hr, 4hr, 4hr, 4hr! That doesn’t leave much time for work or sleep!
1st task of the day was 4hrs for me. 2nd day in a row that the first task isn’t matching. Good thing I have crafted all that I wanted so I don’t have to worry too much about getting resources.
