Level 53 hit our devices last week, to the surprise of a few of us. And the all new level brought a whole lotta pink to Springfield! Level 53 marks the arrive of Malibu Stacy in town, complete with pink shoes and everything! Now I know you may be trying to decide if this is worth YOUR donuts, but don’t sweat it! We’re here to tell you what’s worth the donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Stiletto Sculpture to YOUR Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this Pink Heel to YOUR Springfield!

Level Requirement: Must be at Level 53, unless offered Early Access when the update first hit
Pros:
-Offers a nice bonus %
-Unique looking item for Springfield, would go nice in a shopping district or even in front of the Malibu Stacy HQ
Cons:
-Only impacts Vanity, one of the easiest areas to max out
-No questline associated with it

Premium or Freemium:
Honestly it’s not a bad buy. If you have an area of town you think it would go well in pick it up. It’s a decoration so it’s all about how you want to decorate your Springfield.
However, if you’re looking for a better investment for your donuts (at least in a conform-o-meter sense) go for a Police Car. Offers the same bonus % but impacts Obedience.
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would/wouldn’t do…and I can tell you I will most likely be passing on this one. However, this is NOT a Limited-Time Item so take your time with your thought process. It will still be there in a few weeks. So if you’re on the fence or worried about saving up your donuts relax..there’s no rush to get it.

40 donuts for 2% is the going rate, and it’s something very different. Snapped it up right away.
It’s not a bad deal, but at the same 2% for only 30 donuts (and very little space taken up), the Jet Engine Bike is still the best bonus-multiplying deal around!
I agree – the poor jet engine never gets mentioned as a better deal. Its always “police car” “police car” “police car” despite all the times someone points out that a Jet Engine is only 30 donuts for the same 2% bonus – plus It makes a cool sound when tapped 🙂
2% for 40 is my cut off – I sure won’t pay 40 donuts for .75%! I have a couple of jet engines tucked away too. The best item ever is the Grumpel Balloon at 25 donuts for 2%. It’s just not offered all the time.
I’m not going to spend sprinklies on a big pink shoe, and I’m not going to spend them on Lisa Lionheart… but I would have splashed out on a broken Malibu Stacy doll which, when tapped, said in a very masculine voice, “My spidey-sense is tingling. Anyone call for a web-slinger?”. That still makes me laugh all these years later.

Truth be told, even after getting Akira, Barney, Duffman, Luann, Otto, & even Űter. (…which is going to be a while, since I’m virtually-nearly-practically freemium), I still do not think I’d get any on the Stacy items. These items are too feminine for me.
Speaking for myself (a freemium player) I don’t foresee this in my town, unless I, miracle of miracles hit the donut lotto and get all the premium characters.. So again, not likely. I’m anxiously awaiting a WDICF post – because all I can think is Maybe it was from the Lady Gaga episode?
I know it may be geared to the ladies but I know some guys Straight and not that would enjoy placing this in there town (we don’t judge). Makes me think of Ru Paul more than anything :p or a little Priscilla Queen of the Desert (but than it’ll have to be Silver). if it can change color – like a different skin to use -I would strongly consider getting. But Pink is just a bit too cliché. And if it came in other styles with matching purses :p. I would buy it with cash but donuts are for characters only (for me).
I know I may be going on a tangent of sorts but this does make me think about not only fashion and girlie things, it also makes me think of that small group in the Crossdresser community. I’m looking at you Lenny (thought we might get his Poison Ivy costume during the superhero event). Nice to see Marvin and Wiggum strut their stuff though. I wonder if they would ever do a Pride Event (though it may be a bit Taboo) thinking about Julio, the Fosse Dance Teacher, Jon and Shaboom-Kaboom restaurant, and the guy that stole a kiss from Homer (the roommate, forgot his name) , oh and old school episodes there was Homer’s assistant Karl. Pink elephant balloons, flags. Just some ideas. But keep it all freemium :p

Well there hasn’t been much for the ladies for a while, so we males can take a break now.
Remember the days before we ran out of land and hadn’t hit that max item limit yet? And you were all “I’m a completionist” hahaha, oh how times have changed. When I save up enough donuts I’ll get it to go with all of the other Malibu Stacy stuff I’m saving for.
lol I still have plenty of land…sorta. That whole bottom area is open (as you can see). But I dunno I guess I’m getting donut smarter in my old age lol
A couple of these at the entrance to a high-end shopping area would be awesome…if you have the room.
I’ll probably get a couple and place them near Malibu Stacy HQ until I can find a better place for them.
Besides…how could you NOT have a giant pink shoe sculpture in your Springfield? It definitely reminds me of the big pink “Free” Stamp sculpture we have here in Cleveland by Claes Oldenburg.
This was a total pass until I got my Stepford wives neighborhood revelation. Now it’s in.
