This is the last little piece to the Terwilliger Event before we can put it to rest.
Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
The Terwilliger’s Event released a TON of new items into our Springfields. Everything from business campuses and opera houses to statues and prisons! So let’s take a look at how these new and returning items impact our Conform-O-Meter…
The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and XP from everything you collect in the game. When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town. If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.
While the Terwilliger’s event brought no changes to the Conform-O-Meter requirements, it did bring a bunch of buildings and decorations. So let’s take a look at how all of the new “goodies” impact our rating:

What were your thoughts on the Terwilliger’s Event? Which buildings/items did you win/earn? How’s your conform-o-meter doing? Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!
I maxed out every area. Didn’t get everything, but still enough to be at five stars. Still can’t get Bob. I’ve ”caught” him 15 times straight—and, no Bob. Sure do appreciate all of the help with ”popping in and out” of the different Springfields, but even with tapping on him…bupkis. Hopefully, I’ll get him one day. 😀 All in all…can’t beat the fun!!!
The questlines have to be there in order for you to get him. You don’t just take and get…the questline needs to appear.

The only category I’m not maxed out on is consumerism but when I add Kwik-e-Marts to boost it my bonus only goes up 0.5%. So the difference between 4.5 and 5 stars isn’t that great.
Has anyone else had issues with Cecil Terwilliger’s tasks? For example, his Run For Mayor task is just him walking around doing nothing in my game.
I have a similar issue with Smithers, which i’ve always had, where on his sleep it off in the drunk tank is the same as his drunk task.
I’ve noticed the same issue with Cecil, but as far as Smithers is concerned you’re not seeing anything wrong… he simply drunk walks over to the police station, which, depending on how far away he is, can take some time.
After I placed the farmer’s market, I got 5 stars (finally!). But now I’m back to 4.5 stars, still low in consumerism. Any ideas if they bumped up how many points one needs?
What level are you on?
52
The requirements changed at Level 52…so it increased

Got it. Must have missed this post. Thank you for clarifying!
I understand that people wanted SSB as playable in their games BUT to make a whole event around it just to give people him for free even AFTER the event. Why not release him with a level or even how people got him for free anyways after the event was over? I didn’t like this event as much as the Superhero one and would have passed on it if I had known that people would be getting SSB for free anyways.
I’m with ya on that one. I mean, the other characters offered also in the event are nice, but Bob could have been just “offered” in a quest, like he currently is. But guess they wanted us to work for it first.
Except if you got him in the event you also got the opera stage, as well as the possibility of the rest of his family, and they can all perform on stage at once. I didn’t get the stage and only have SSB (from afterwards) and the Dane. So, there’s a reason for/benefit to the event.
Before I buy it, can the Terwilliger family perform on the normal stage as well, because if so there really is no need for the opera stage.
Nope, only the Opera stage
I love this game and have been playing for about 2 yes but it would be a lot more fun if all the good things weren’t always got by donuts.some people can’t afford to buy donuts because they are on ssi or disability benefits and just can’t afford to buy them…I understand that that’s what keeps the game going but couldn’t you make it to where some of the premium things could be done by donuts or using the money you collect thru playing the game…just doesn’t seem fair that only the rich people can play and enjoy the game by buy donuts and getting premium things…a lot of people playing this game gets all their things by being hacked and not getting honestly,so if you could please make it to where we could earn more donuts or be able to use money we have in game it would be a lot more fun….Thank you for listening and reading this…..robertkisner54….

These games are produced by profit-driven companies with shareholders. It’s not a welfare project.
The world has always being like that. The rich got more options to everything in life. For the rest of us, we are advised to be contented. That is the root to happinessness. I have not spent a single dollar so far. But have spent a lot of time earning XP for donuts though.
Make sure to always visit your friends. I usually get 2-3 donuts a day!!
Doesn’t sound like much, but it adds up – to about 1,000 per year.
Well… I didn’t manage to get the Decoy or Sign, but at least those were only for vanity.
I suppose it might be better to store the Monsarno buildings but I designed a whole campus so I’ll leave them out for now!
Yeah, I’m not lacking space but when I need some, most of the Monsarno buildings will be going into storage. I don’t have any emotional attachment to any building that doesn’t make any money.
