Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
This weekend we’ll be doing another edition of Springfield Showoff! Where we want to see what you’ve done with your Springfield!
This week we want to see your favorite designs from one of the more recent levels to hit our games, level 53. Where have you placed Spiffany’s? Did you purchase the Malibu Stacy stuff? Where have you placed it? Show us just what you’ve done in your Springfield!
We’ll be putting up the Showoff post, featuring your designs, on Saturday (6/20). So show us what you’ve done with the Level 53!
So grab some screenshots of your town, or finish up those designs…just make sure it is there by about 8pm EDT Friday (6/19). Can’t wait to see what YOU have come up with.
Note: PLEASE try to limit your submissions to only 1-2 of your favorite screenshots. We like to try and let everyone showoff their town but it becomes difficult when some of you are sending in 7-10 images. Pick your favorite areas and send them in (or if you stitch photos together, that works too). We’ll try our best to get EVERYONE in, but please understand that sometimes we miss a photo or two. If we miss you one week, we’ll try really hard to make sure we get you in the next week. You’re always welcome to showoff your town, at any time, on our Flickr page. We know a lot of you have awesome towns that you want to show off, but please try to stick with this week’s theme. Remember, this isn’t a contest. There’s nothing to win. It’s just a fun way to showoff your town and get some design inspiration from your fellow Addicts. 🙂

Note: We’ve been having a lot of issues with Flickr lately and many of you saying we’re not putting your designs up. Usually it’s because they’re copyrighted and we can’t pull them. So we’ve decided to no longer allow submissions from Flickr. If you want your showoff to be shown the best way is to email us the submission. Alternatively you can use our Facebook or Twitter. You can also post them in the comments below, but please don’t link from Flickr (otherwise we’ll have the same issues).
The last couple of Show Off’s I couldn’t find the the FB post to upload my screenshots, which was a shame because I really wanted to show off…
You can just post them right on the papapage. We’ll find them 🙂
Email always works too
Lately I’ve noticed that some of the articles on this site don’t have a left margin anymore…the text goes right up to the left edge of my screen. For example, this article has that “problem,” but the “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” article doesn’t. Or is it just something with my device somehow? I like having a bit of whitespace on the left… Without the margin, I keep thinking I’m zoomed in or something, so I try to zoom out and then end up in my browser’s multi-page view.
This issue obviously isn’t a huge one in the grand scheme of things, but if it’s something that’s easily fixable/avoidable, at least for future articles, it would be great not to lose that left margin…
D’oh! Now the left margin is back on this article! I have no idea what’s going on, but it’s obviously my problem, so feel free to delete my previous comment. 😷
No, I’m glad you said something cause it’s been happening to me recently too! I just thought it was my device – kindle fire (2nd gen?) But I think you might use a kindle too if I remember correctly, so maybe it still is device-related…
emurphy – Nope – I always read this site in my work iPad (although I do sometimes play the game on my Kindle). I think it might have something to do with how I access the article…whether I tap on the article title or the “x# Comments” link at the end of the home page “teaser” for it, but I’m not sure.
Could be Mobile App viewing.

lol I’ll see what we can do…not sure where everyone’s towns are right now.
LOL. Thanks for reminding me of the pool. I built it upgraded it, forgot about it. I tried to put it near my mansions but of course had no room and had just rearranged my mansion area to make more space (so much for houses having yards) so it got stuck in my rapidly growing overflow dump and forgotten.
Mine’s at the Quimby compound (I had to rearrange too)…and every so often I tap on it by mistake and get the “it’s as awesome as it can be” popup. That’s the only time I remember I have it lol

also off topic quick question but has the bonuts xp always cost 50,000 per box? I honestly thought it was more last time I did? Good news if so and I just got another three donuts so happy either way…
Each new level the requirements change. And then each time you do it after a new level is hit it increases.
During events the bonuts boxes usually go up to $150,000 so that’s prolly what you’re remembering.
P.s. – I love the fact that I just added the word ‘bonuts’ to my kindle’s dictionary!
