Today is Father’s Day here in the US and Bunny, Wookiee and I just want to take a moment to say Happy Father’s Day. Happy Father’s Day to ALL the Dad’s out there!
Bunny and I would also like to say a special Happy Father’s Day to our very own Wookiee! Wookiee is the proud papa of 3 little Ewoks and I know they all love their dad! So Happy Father’s Day Wook! Hope you have a great day with your munchkins! 🙂

This is a day late…. But thanks for acknowledging, some of us don’t have a Dad or Grandfather to celebrate with.
It was a very difficult day for me(why I’m reading posts today). So I kept myself busy with giving my dogs(shhhhhh, they don’t know they are dogs) baths, bathing three dogs keeps you busy & worn out.
I treated myself to an extra glass of wine with my dinner I ate alone!
I’m happy I have this site with so many awesome peps, again thank you my friend!

Hehe Just nitpicking but I’m pretty sure Wookies are not the same species as Ewoks and vice versa. Two completely different planets in fact, Wookies are from Kashyyk and Ewoks are from Endor so at the most they are cousins 😀 Sorry, Star Wars nerd here. Regardless, Happy Father’s Day Wookie and all the other dads on this site.

lol no. I’m honestly not into sci-fi.
They are different, Wookiees are from Kashyyyk and Ewoks from Endor. I don’t think there has ever been any link to prove an actual connection other than their appearances. Also to be fair, there was a Wookiee called Ewok and an Ewok called Wookiee, so perhaps the children are Ewoks and the Wookiee is an Ewok and not a Wookiee. 😛 My dad introduced me to Star Wars from a young age, and I am a massive fan. I was gutted when Disney cancelled the EU, story was all so rich and expansive and they scrapped it all just to write what they want. I have two friends that knows lot about SW, lots of others only know about the main films, but they get the EU too, such a shame it’s no longer canon. At least it is still going in some ways. I’m so grateful to my dad for showing me Star Wars, if he hasn’t, I imagine my life would be very different.

Happy Father’s Day to you Addicts and your families. And to all the Tappers here who are dads, and/or are celebrating with all their fathers, grandfathers, grandchildren etc.
I’d like to respectfully suggest an edit to your post. For some, possibly many, this might be a first year that a dad or Grandfather or grandchild is no longer alive. Or for many of us our fathers and grandfathers have been dead for a long time. It doesn’t matter how long it might have been – this day can be a difficult one for many.
It would be nice if there was an acknowledgement of support and solidarity for all those without their Fathers, and Grandfathers, or children here today. Many Thanks.
