EVENT CALENDAR STARTING JUNE 23RD/ DAY ONE
I am trying something new with this Calendar. One for those that start on DAY ONE and want to get right into it. The Calendar below will help keep you on track.
This is for those that want the totals as of June 23rd, the START Date of the Event.
Now you have a basic daily breakdown for 10 days based off of approximately 1950 Foam Fingers a day. Again, this is ONLY for those that want totals as of DAY ONE of the Event.
EVENT CALENDAR STARTING JUNE 24th/ DAY 2
This is the Calendar I normally post to the site…
As per usual, I will be starting the Calendar one day AFTER Act One releases so you can factor in time you will need to send Characters on tasks, get Buildings, and fully launch the Event. I will also be stopping it the night BEFORE Act One ends, as it is REALLY early in the AM for the USA.
Again, do not panic. Remember that it is slow going at first so you may “appear” to be behind, but as you progress in Act One you will start to see that you are getting more and more and more each day. So just go at a pace that fits you, but remember the more you play the more you will get.
Now you have a basic daily breakdown for 10 days based off of approximately 2167 Foam Fingers a day.
So it will vary on WHEN you started on about how many each day you can try to aim for, but as you can see… BOTH Calendars eventually catch up to one another and are pretty close in daily points to hit.
ACT ONE PRIZES
Here is the list of Prizes you can win by just playing the game and collecting Foam Fingers.
Prize 1: Homertron, 1900 Foam Fingers
Prize 2: Obstacle Tires, 5600 Foam Fingers
Prize 3: Baseball Jasper, 11300 Foam Fingers
Prize 4: Obstacle Wall, 15100 Foam Fingers
Prize 5: Softball Mr. Burns, 19500 Foam Fingers
OVERTIME BONUS
Don’t stop collecting Foam Fingers once you hit 19500, because you WILL have that extra chance at the 3 Donut Mystery Boxes once again. Every 4000 Extra Foam Fingers Earned will give you a Chance at them.
Word of caution on this one, if you are NOT in your town when you hit the bonus, any additional Foam Fingers collected may not count towards the 4000 (they will your main total). So be careful. If you are close, you may want to go back to your Springfield just before you hit it. This is due to once it triggers the final prize, it will take a few minutes to go through all the pop ups for it. This causes the Bonus Round Pop Up to delay as you tap through them. That means any additional beyond the 19500 earned when you hit it will NOT count to the Overtime Bonus until you see the Pop Up. For instance if you earn 19500, the extra 100 will go to your total, but nothing will add to the Bonus until Overtime Bonus pops up. So the counts may be slightly off.
Once you hit your 19500, you will see the Tap Finger pointing at your Task Menu towards a Foam Finger Icon. Tapping on the Foam Finger Icon will then pop up the Overtime Bonus. You will see now your running total for the additional 4000 to get access to the 3 Mystery Donut Boxes.
Then, no matter where in the game you are, when you hit that extra 4000… the 3 Mystery Donut Boxes will appear and ask you to choose.
If you do not get it the first time, you can “BUY” another Mystery Box. So if you are set on getting the 3 Donuts no matter what, have some extra $$$ Sitting aside (at least $300,000) to have a chance at all 3 if needed.
There you have it. A Calendar of Foam Fingers to keep you on track for all 5 Personal Prizes. Plus some Bonus Donuts. We KNOW you love BONUTS!!! 😛

Help!!!! I am level 24, and right now I am having a task from level 19. It is so weird. I can’t finjsh all tasks in time, because, there are always sone other tasks, and everything so expensive. I just got 44 000, and I spen 34 000 to expand land, because i don’t have more room. Every time i bet, i lose. Every time i think i have enough donuts to buy, a mystery box, i get something lame, or something that i already have. I mean come on.
I dunno what you need help with….it’s all just part of the game. If you need tips on how to earn more money, this post is a good start

Here’s a tip – stop betting on the horses.
As for the rest, relax…the only things you need to finish “on time” are event-related tasks. You don’t have to rush to get through the level questlines. Sometimes you’re gonna have to wait a few days to make the money you need to continue…that’s the way the game was built.
Read the post that Alissa linked to, make sure you have, and visit, 100 neighbors, and you’ll do just fine.
Re: being out of town when you reach the maximum total and start the bonus collection – doesn’t that also apply to the daily bonus?
For example, I’m just a couple of hours from finishing today’s daily training and will get a bonus of 1200 hats even though I’m only a few hundred short of the 30k total. I strongly suspect that if I use the daily bonus to go through the 30k mark that any left over won’t get added onto the bonus donut award counter.
I’ve been working really hard to get all of the prizes for act one but now act two is up and I still don’t have Mr. Burns. I can only collect hats but I need the foam fingers to get him. Can I still get him? I don’t know what to do.

Any admins out there still able to help out with donuts? The game has been extremely addicting and kept me sane during my recent “rest period” from having a heart procedure. I would appreciate the help so I can keep tapping. These new items are getting quite expensive (donuts wise) and I only have a few hundred.
We don’t do that here. What you’re asking is for help to cheat. We do not do that.

I wish we had one more day before Act 2 started… Would really like an extra opportunity to win more bonuts! (Especially since I think the Nighthawk and All-American Apu are about to make me part with more donuts that I had originally planned to spend on other things, after already spending a bunch of those donuts I had gotten to buy those things on the great Gil’s Deals a short while ago! I feel like there are several “regular” items I’m never gonna be able to get at this rate, especially since I’m not planning to buy more donuts for a long time, after spending some money to buy some during the great Amazon 25% rebate sale (which I think may be back right now, but I almost kinda don’t want to know for sure and be tempted again…).
Okay, I think this post has to be eligible to win the “most run-on, convoluted sentences” award, no? 😉

Anyone else experiencing this? I just leave the game and close the app and maybe 2 or 3 minutes later, my iPad shows a notification of something to the effect ‘it’s been a while since you’ve played” or “the Simpsons miss you because it’s been a while since you’ve played.” Um, no, I just finished playing! LOL
I’m getting this ALL the time and it’s really frustrating. Literally a few minutes after I click off it, I get that notification.

So I am a lamo-o and just put in my free tap ball field in yesterday. I haven’t gotten any tap ball related tasks for the characters as you described above. Should I bother with this? The only prize I like is the jasper costume. Thanks ever so muchly!
You’ve got to play through more of the questline to unlock the tasks..
I didn’t find out about this update until 3 days in, so there’s absolutely no way I’m ever going to catch up. if I don’t get to Mr. Burns by the end of the first prize week do I lose him? What happens exactly?
We will not know until the switch over, but I assume that he may roll over into a Craftable Item.
First, if you tap regularly and are diligent about it, it is entirely possible to catch up. But if you only go into your town once or twice a day it’s not possible on any level. Events take some work and some diligent tapping. But this one is entirely possible to catch up on as long as you frequently tap.
Anyway…as far as the prizes…It says new prizes added, so my guess is they won’t disappear. We won’t know for sure exactly how it will play out until Act 2 hits though
Yeah, you’re right Alissa. I got the event a day after everyone had it, but because I tapped so much, I have softball burns!
I’m 3 days ahead, so you still have a chance. I don’t visit neighbours, so I get 300 less each day yet I’m still 3 days ahead.
This event seems to run as other past events where I get 2 or 3 days ahead and then get to play for bonus donuts twice. I then reset the neighbor clock for the start of the next “period”… Catching up is doable, just follow the advice given here. Funny how I am in 70th place on my neighbors leader board for games won, but very much alive and doing well… My neighbors must think I dropped off the face of the earth. But my high school coach use to say “It is NOT if you win or loose, it is how you play the game that will bonus your donuts”… Play often, play well… Good luck!
I found this while trying to find a list of all the unique one-time-buys like the tire fire and apparently the 7 duff beer bushes in krusty land. Can somebody redirect me? I’m lost on the internet.
We have a lot of “areas” on the site that could help. There’s the Decorations one. Premium one. Krusty land one. My best suggestion… we have an awesome search tool via Google that searches just our site. It’s the last option in the menu. Open it. Put in key words of what you want. And see all the posts covering it. 🙂

Is anyone else getting the it’s been a while notification a lot? Homer is yelling at me to come play with him every few hours its annoying as it means I have to keep going on the app to make sure the next notification comes up as it should. On the plus side I’m a day ahead of the calendar so you can catch up if you start the event late.
i have the same notifications in about 10 minutes every time i quit the game and frequently after. pretty annoying…
