We certainly didn’t think EA would forget about Independence Day in Springfield but honestly, I thought this would hit tomorrow (Wednesday)…so my apologies this is a bit late. Was settled in for the night watching USA soccer!
Anywho…we’ve got ourselves a little 4th of July update, inside Tap Ball!

As it says above, once you start up your game you’ll see some dialogue from Homer. This starts the Monetization Liberation questline. (we’ll cover this in full in a turbo tap post tomorrow)….

I’m torn between buying the Workshop and the Nighthawk Diner, I have enough donuts to buy only one of them, do you guys have any suggestions? I’m terrible at making decisions hahaha

Questions, noticed there was an update tonight. Want getting any foam fingers for friend visits, but now I am. Is that what the update was about? Also I could have sworn I had 54 donuts the other day. Today I got my first set of free donuts for the foam finger bonus. And now see 53 donuts. Maybe I’m wrong but anyone what have disappearing donuts? I’ve also noticed when this event started I rarely get one donut now with friend visits
I have a question that’s unrelated to this event. My buildings and objects disappear and then reappear when I scroll through the town. How can I fix this? Please help. It’s getting very annoying.
Could just be a visual glitch. You can try uninstalling and reinstalling tsto. Sometimes that helps fix it

The repeats from previous years don’t have a Limited Time stamp on them where Nixon and the tap ball stuff do. Any chance that Washington, Lincoln, the Nighthawk, etc. aren’t going away? That would make the decision on what to get now a lot easier.

Items leave the store July 9th. Questline kill date (when it’ll be pulled from your game if you didn’t finish it, but you had to have started it) is August 9th.
It was a surprise to wake up to a new update. I’m not sure about the new premium items so I’ll be reading the SIB posts when they’re available 🙂
It might be fun to have Nixon in my town, loved his appearance in Doctor Who a few years ago 😉
…I got 7 yes seven donuts from visiting neighbours today!!! That has NEVER happened before …maybe one or two at most every other day!

Another change: when you click to buy a Golden Scratch-R at Kwik-E-Mart and cancel the purchache (when it asks the iTunes/Google password), the system dont show the “Great. Now Maggie is crying. So CONGRATULATIONS- you made a baby cry” message anymore
They got rid of that a looong time ago.
I just checked this not 30 seconds ago. “Purchase cancelled. We are all hearbroken. Maggie is crying. So hey – -congratulations! YOU MADE A BABY CRY.”

Another difference between the 2 American flags is the coin one has no bonus it affects vanity and the donut one adds .25% to cash and experience.
But my queston is am I better off buyong donuts or golden tickets to get my sprinkles?
Also I haven’t seen anyone comment on this but I love how excited the fans get when they are tapped on.

Depends on what you’re going to spend. If you’re looking for just spending a small amount tickets are the way to go. If you’re planning on buying a larger package, then just buy the package.
Thanks , I procrastinated on GW and Honest Abe last year cause I misread it, I thought I saw a message that they were staying around so i thought would have a while to purchase and have regretted it eveytime I see them in neighbors Springfields.
Also loving to have firework available for coin. I’m orgianlly from the Fireworks Capital of American ( seriously two of the world’s foremost producers are in my hometown) so all bout the fireworks. 🙂
Unless you get lucky and beat the odds, the packages are a better deal (except for the dozen donuts…never buy that because you can get two Golden Scratch-Rs for the same price, which guarantees you at least a dozen donuts, but had the potential to give you more!).
