Should I Spend Donuts On the Presidential Estate?

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

4th of July has arrived in Springfield!  But, with that limited-time label it may be overwhelming trying to decide which items to buy and what to pass on. But, have no fear! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth your donuts & what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add the Presidential Estate to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the Pros and Cons of adding this Presidential compound to your Springfield.

presidentialestate_menu

Building: The Presidential Estate
Donut Price: 85 Donuts
Dimensions: 8×11
Earns: $$175,15xp/6hrs
Conform-O-Meter: Indolence +10

Pros:
-Nice looking house for Springfield
-Comes with a very short questline
-Animated when in use
-Task for Homer and Bart there, 3hrs and pays Premium rate.  (see below)

Cons:
-Pricey for just a building
Final Thought:
Premium/Freemium
As you can see I’ve struggled a bit to come up with cons for this one, besides the price.  This actually isn’t a bad buy.  It’s got a nice look and unlocks a premium task for Homer and Bart.  While it’s a bit pricey for just a building, if you’ve got the right look in Springfield for this it just may be worth your donuts.  Personally, I’m still on the fence, but I have a feeling I’ll be picking it up before the event ends.

Presidential Compound quest…..

One Last Presidential Prank
Homer starts

Homer: Be back in five minutes Marge.  Bart and I are gonna egg the Presidential Estate.
Marge: That doesn’t seem very patriotic of you.  I thought you admired the President?
Homer: I did!  For his first six months in office.  Then, like all Americans, I realized that he’s the problem with everything. And on and on the cycle goes.  Anyway, it’s free speech or something.  You do want our son to learn about free speech, don’t you?
Marge: I guess.  Just don’t use the organic eggs.  They’re expensive.
Make Homer Egg the Presidential Estate- 3hrs, Earns $200, 55xp
Make Bart Egg the Presidential Estate- 3hrs, Earns $200, 55xp

Just remember whatever you decide this is a LIMITED-TIME building and once it’s gone, it’s gone…so be sure to get it before July 9th if you’re thinking about making that purchase!

What do you think of the Presidential Estate?  Will you make the purchase (or did you already)?  Where have you placed it in your Springfield?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

Is the presidential estate a permanent sale? I can’t see there’s any countdown for the sales end anymore.

  2. When Bart and Homer throw eggs at the house, are they ‘outdoor’ tasks?
    LOVE this site BTW!!!

  3. If it had even a small bonus I would go for it. But just a house with regular earnings. No. The tasks change it to a maybe. For 50, it would be mine for sure!

  4. Bought it along with the Watergate, mainly because there is so much new land, and I just need to fill it with stuff asap 😉

  5. The three hour tasks for Bart & homer are they permeant or one shot Susan’s?

  6. I loved the episode were the house came, but so many donuts for a house! rEAlly?

  7. I just want to point out the wonderful Banner that I assume Bunny put together. Great job as always but forgive me and my nitpicks and questions: :p

first: Uncle “bunny” Sam – does he/she have a name? (Wouldn’t want to confuse that bunny with the Human “Bunny”)

now for the nitpick lightening round: Alissa looks like she’s wearing a corset that probably isn’t good for the baby, Bunny not wearing glasses (contacts perhaps) and last and Most importantly… Wookie needs to show More Leg. :p

    • Thanks! I have fun being creative. This one was simplistic.

Lol. “Stuffed Bunny” was something I asked the Artist to incorporate with the first Character Drawings we did, so no matter what my Character was in… there was usually a Bunny nearby. The “Stuffed Bunny” since then just makes us smile, so we kept him. It is based off of a Stuffed Toy I keep on my bed and cherish. Haven’t really “named” him. Maybe… Mr Fluffy? Lol.

These pics were made BEFORE she went and got herself knocked up with some alien spawn, so it didn’t matter at the time. 😉

I actually don’t wear glasses too often (only when driving or need to see far away). Otherwise I wear contacts.

You don’t want to see MORE Wookiee leg, trust me. 😉

      • Can I make a special request?… Eh forget it, I’m going to make it without your permision:

I have missed many Banners (I didn’t discover this site until maybe a year ago) over the years, now I don’t expect to see the banners of the past years but wondering at the end of This Year if you could possabley show them together as if a Montage of the calendar year -You know like around New Years Eve – I think it would be cool and not sure how challenging for you but it’s a suggestion.. WRONG – It’s a request :p

        • Lol. We really didn’t start making them until more recently. Otherwise… its been the same ol boring one. So… only since round Start of this year.

FYI… I was already thinking of posting an “Addicts Character and Banner Gallery” 😉

      • OrdinarilyBob

I love the new Patriotic avatars up there in the banner. Once before you were kind enough to post larger/higher res versions, and I see below you’re considering a gallery… allow me to vote +1: Yes Please! 🙂

  8. I want but I think I’ll hold off. I really want Nixon.

  9. I saw it in a neighbors town, it’s garage doors are open and the motor (motor boat motor) was running and a few papers blowing, doorbell rings the first couple notes to “hail to the chief”… But without a character added with it I think I’m going to pass. I think if the “Bad Neighbor” banner appeared instead of the garage being open during activity that may have swaded me.

Plus the delema about placing it across from the Simpson Home yet having it not face the Simpson home (stupid thing that I and other people with OCD might feel conflicted with).

  10. Personally, I’m leaning ‘no’ because I rarely send anybody out on 3 hour tasks (8 and 12 hours are my most common choices) and I already have multiple premium skins for Homer and Bart.

  11. “Two Bad Neighbors” is one of my FAVORITE episodes, and I was just wishing that they would add this house. One of the best episodes ever. “Bar! My motor’s gone loco!”
