Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Are you ready for some Tap Ball!? Tap Ball is the newest sensation sweeping the streets of Springfield. A game invented by our very own Homer J Simpson! In the Second “Act” of the Tap Ball Event (funny they’re called Acts, really they should be called Periods like Hockey. Oh EA, I thought you knew sports 😉 ) you’ll unlock Tennis Marge, FIT Milhouse, unlock Community Challenges and continue to challenge your friends and neighbors to some friendly Tap Ball competitions!
This Event is broken up into 3 Acts (again, should be called Periods EA…), with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the Second Act you’re tasked with collecting Hats (
) to unlock each prize! The Final Act 2 prize awarded at 30,000 is Tennis Marge, a new skin for Marge so she can FINALLY get involved in an event!
So let’s take a closer look at Tennis Marge and find out just what happens when she gets plenty of time to practice her serve as you unlock her in your Springfield!
Once you’ve collected 30,000 you’ll automatically be awarded Tennis Marge and you’ll see this message popup:
As long as you’ve reached Level 15 and unlocked Marge, you’ll automatically unlock this costume and Marge will become Tennis Marge…
And Tennis Marge is part of the Sporty Simpson Character collection:
As long as you’ve unlocked Marge, you can immediately start using her to play Tap Ball. You’ll find her on your roster of players when you start a new game.

What’s Next?
FREE DONUTS! After you’ve unlocked Tennis Marge you’ll unlock the Overtime Bonus. Where for every 3,000 you collect (after getting Tennis Marge) you’ll have a chance for the Bonus Donut game. Where you can get 1, 2 or 3 donuts…(extra chances are $150,000 a shot).

I’m really glad that Marge got to participate in this event and I like her outfit. But it’s hard losing Witch Marge’s crop speeding task…I was racking up the XP growing three or four rounds of Triffids a day!

I like her outfit. She might just keep that most of the time when the event is over.
Glad to see Marge is finally involved in something (she was completely left out of the Terwilliger event – its pretty bad when Mr. Teeny and Suzanne the Witch have event tasks and Marge does not). I did like how EA hung a lantern on the situation and basically explained why Marge was always left out – introduced too late in the game to kick start any event tasks.
this act was super awesome. i got Marge and after that came to 45000 hats, so getting free donuts 5 times. hopefully i can reproduce that in act 3, since the new things give even more than the hats.
I was sloppy about collecting Hats, and this led me to get only Springy in the last minutes of the Act 2, totally missing out Obstacle Log and Tennis Marge.
I now won’t will miss out Act 3,because it’s the last piece of this Summertime event.
anyone else have something else in mind for her crabwalk task? I had visions of the Exorcist in my head (yeah I know it’s not Halloween but I didn’t know there was a tennis move/skill called that…
That was the first thing that came to my mind when I read “crabwalk”. Most sports aren’t my thing … especially tennis.
Lol yes!!! I was so glad when she started the task and it was just a tennis move lol.
Yup! In gym class when I was a kid, it meant something very different. I prefer their definition!
Somehow they should’ve done a quest with the tennis field, that would’ve been fun to watch!
Yeah they should have done her serve task on the tennis court instead of just in random places of Springfield
