Here we are in Act Three. By now you all should have a general idea of what to anticipate from the Event itself, but of course… there is always the worry of “am I getting enough Pennants?”
Well no worries. My handy dandy Calendar for Act Three is here.
ACT THREE WILL END JULY 21st
EVENT CALENDAR STARTING JULY 14th/DAY 2 OF ACT 3
As per usual, I will be starting the Calendar one day AFTER Act Three releases so you can factor in time you will need to send Characters on tasks, get Buildings, and fully launch the New Act. I will also be stopping it the night BEFORE Act Three ends, as it will give you enough time to focus on all the other last minute stuff.
Again, do not panic. Remember that it is slow going at first so you may “appear” to be behind, but as you progress in Act Three you will start to see that you are getting more and more and more each day. So just go at a pace that fits you, but remember the more you play the more you will get.
Now you have a basic daily breakdown for 7 days based off of approximately 5558 Pennants a day.
ACT THREE PRIZES
Here is the list of Prizes you can win by just playing the game and collecting Pennants.
Testosterzone- 8,400
1,000 Amateur Bucks- 17,400
Ballet Ralph- 26,300
9 Tonics- 33,500
Homerclese Statue- 38,900
OVERTIME BONUS
Don’t stop collecting Pennants once you hit 38900, because you WILL have that extra chance at the 3 Donut Mystery Boxes once again. Every 3500 Extra Pennants Earned will give you a Chance at them.
Word of caution on this one, if you are NOT in your town when you hit the bonus, any additional Pennants collected may not count towards the 3500 (they will your main total). So be careful. If you are close, you may want to go back to your Springfield just before you hit it. This is due to once it triggers the final prize, it will take a few minutes to go through all the pop ups for it. This causes the Bonus Round Pop Up to delay as you tap through them. That means any additional beyond the 38900 earned when you hit it will NOT count to the Overtime Bonus until you see the Pop Up. For instance if you earn 39900, the extra 100 will go to your total, but nothing will add to the Bonus until Overtime Bonus pops up. So the counts may be slightly off.
Once you hit your 38900, you will see the Tap Finger pointing at your Task Menu towards a Pennant Icon.
Tapping on the Pennant Icon will then pop up the Overtime Bonus. You will see now your running total for the additional 3500 to get access to the 3 Mystery Donut Boxes.
Then, no matter where in the game you are, when you hit that extra 3500… the 3 Mystery Donut Boxes will appear and ask you to choose.
If you do not get it the first time, you can “BUY” another Mystery Box. So if you are set on getting the 3 Donuts no matter what, have some extra $$$ Sitting aside (at least $300,000) to have a chance at all 3 if needed.
There you have it. A Calendar of Pennants to keep you on track for all 5 Personal Prizes. Plus some Bonus Donuts. We KNOW you love BONUTS!!! 😛

I already own the crazy cat lady character. I unlocked the ability to use her in the tap ball games, but am not able to. The costume does not show up anywhere, not even my inventory. Anyone else have this problem?
1. It’s not a costume. Just unlocks her ability to play tap ball. So no costume to put on.
2. You’ve got to complete her questline (at least the first couple parts) to unlock the Tap Ball stuff…
3. If you did all that and still can’t play Tap Ball, contact EA
Soooo…..did anyone else spend donuts to rush getting the crazy cat lady (one of the timed tap ball tasks) and not get her? She’s not in the store or my inventory. >_<
There’s nothing to get. Just like Lugash, it only unlocks her ability to play tap ball..if you already have her. If you don’t have her (ie you didn’t purchase her as a premium player) there’s no prize today, just the 2,000 pennants

Christmas In July is a multi store promo that has caught on in hot climates like here in Australia. It’s too hot for a traditional roast dinner with all the trimmings in December; Though I still do it, but we have whole house aircon & still we roast along with the meat.
Christmas in July is because that’s when it’s Winter in the Southern Hemisphere. (& a good chance to party!)
Aussies usually have seafood; BBQ & salad at Christmas.
Woop! I finally saved up enough Amateur Bucks to get some new flood lights! I purchase them, the bucks go out – no flood lights! They’re not even in my inventory. I have missed something or have I just wasted my time playing and saving?
Probably just a glitch. If you contact EA they should restore them for you
So, you probably can’t answer this question, but they are the goals for the community prizes so high?? They lowered the goal for the first prize and added a prize for Amatuer bucks, but 110,000,000 balls??? We’re never gonna reach that in 7 days!
Great work on the calander, although I’m ahead of schedule, just unlocked Testosterzone at the time of typing this. But lets switch gears temporarily to the Community Prizes, anyone else feel like EA is deliberately sabatoging them so they can claim that no one was interested in them so they could stop doing them without being yelled at? Because that’s the vibe I’m getting.

As I read down the post, I thought Bunny was going to remind us how to get the three donuts every time, by waiting till the lights meet at the top, press and hold the right square for at least ten seconds

I don’t think you have the method right… The key is to put your finger down and to release your finger at the EXACT same part of the light cycle, at least one full cycle apart. (Doing it when the lights meet at the top is the easiest part of the light cycle to really see, which is why it’s usually the best choice). You don’t have to hold it down for “at least 10 seconds” (unless that’s how long a full light cycle lasts…I’ve never timed it that way), but you DO have to make sure that you’re releasing at the same part of the cycle that you put your finger down.
Is it just me, or do you guys never use tonic, I always just win with my A team and lose with my B team, and only use tonic if it’s a daily training requirement to win, so I have 60 tonics just sittin there!
Is this the right tactic?
I’m sitting on max level for A team and 3 stars for B.
Why not use them? They will be gone at the end of the event so there is no reason to horde them
I use it whenever I need it, till there’s none left. I’m fourth in my table of neighbours although I don’t know why I’m bothered because there’s no prize for so many wins.
You can’t use it when the event is over, so you may as well use it up

I’m using the tonic. Playing freemium and I calculated that for me, it does not make sense to upgrade my A team to five stars. For me, the cost for the upgrades cannot be recouped from winning higher rated battles until the end of the event, so I let the team stay at 4 stars. Using to tonic to win 5 star battles anyway.
Try mixing your teams up with a boost from tonics. For example, put 3 of your 5Star players with a 3Star and boost the 3Star to 5Star with tonic in the last position if needed for a win. Now your second team will have a 5Star player plus you could boost 1 or more 3Stars as needed for a win.
I currently have 10 players: 6 5Star players, 1 4Star, 1 31/2Star, and 2 3Star. I use 3 5Star players on each team and 1 non5Star in last position as they all will boost to 5Star. It’s as if I have 2 5Star teams.
Players at 3Star through 41/2Star are equivalent if you have tonic to boost them so don’t upgrade evenly across players. Concentrate on moving another player to 5Star.
Saved most tonic for stage three and will use it to kick some level 5 players behinds !!
What on earth are you saving them up for? Use them to make your lower ranked team beat the highest ranked team that they can (as long as it’s at least a 3-1/2 star team) and you’ll earn more AB and pennants than you will from losing!! With 60, you can probably win every game between now and the end of the event!!
I’ve only upgraded my A game players to 4 stars and have them play exclusively against my B game with 3 star players, so they always win. In my B game I only play against the 3.5 star “Single Player” and usually have to use one Tonic to win. I do so at least once every 4h cycle in order to get the daily win bonus and use tonic in every game when daily training requires winning.
Looks like the pennants will be fairly easy to come by as were the baseball caps.
Amateur bucks are the problem, we have a questline for the players where they don’t earn bucks for two days, and they’re not stacking up that fast from fans or matches either.
Apart from being robbed for 500 for a soccer ball, I haven’t bought anything from the shop. Hoping for price drops on merchandise, maybe ?
I agree it’s slow going with these amateur bucks, …one per hour from most tasks, but every ten mins from fan tap. The worst thing was the amount of event related tasks that paid out ordinary cash when it should have been event currency

No problem with bucks. All three of my games have about 5,000.
I upgraded the original 4 players in each town to level 3’s and stopped.
Unlocked the first prize this morning so ahead of schedule thanks to one daily task rolling over to Act 3. Hopefully puts me on track for lots of extra donuts like Act 2 where I nabbed 18.
I am about the earn the Testosterzone Building (lol @ that building name) and I can’t wait to earn Ballet Ralphie by Thursday / Friday. Yes, this Event ends with another Statue (well that’s better than another NPC, right?) – thanks for the Act 3 Event Calendar , Bunny! 🙂
I have an adblocker app on my computer & ipad. I use adblocker plus. It’s free & you don’t get annoying popups & ads. I also play TSTO without sound, always have done, so get startled when the sound toggle is turned on! The game is so noisy with the sound turned on!
Interesting that the bonuts will require 3500 pennants rather than 3000 like the previous two items did.
No, they required 4000 foam fingers in act 1, they adjust it according to the difficulty in earning them.
I just started building the Testoserzone – placed it next to the Steel Mill so the Men can Play Hard after a hard days work. You know, Knock a few balls around. I think Roscoe will like it ;p
I did notice something missing from the Calendar… Any guesses? … Ok, I’ll tell you. July 25th. Sandra’s proposed Christmas in July Day. I mean, let’s be homest, Sandra is the main reason Bunny makes this Calendar -lol (couldn’t even type that with a straight face) :p

So glad you’re joining us, but you’re a bit early…. The plan is to do it on July 25 (Christmas’ “half birthday,” so to speak). But, then again, since you’ve been playing so long, maybe it takes you over a week just to get everything set up! 😉

lol I often wonder that too, but i think usually it’s the first week of July (at least that’s what Hallmark Channel does) and some places just do the whole month. Personally I never got it because June is halfway, but maybe it’s a 5 months till christmas thing lol
Or maybe it’s just a middle of summer thing, when Christmas just *feels* the farthest away.
Personally I can’t wait for Christmas (I never can really) but this year it just means the baby will be here and I won’t be pregnant dealing with swollen feet and hands anymore lol

I just realized something: theres only been one new playable character added to this event. Lots of great skins (both premium & freemium ones) & springy but poof thats it. I can’t remember the last time where we got off easy like this. Just a little cannon fodder. Great event otherwise. By the last week of the Terwilligers event i was dead tired and bored but this one has kept me intrigued.

Yeah, this event is quite similar to Clash of Clones in some ways, 1 character, and skins and NPCs, but Tap Ball is fun!!!
And there are lots of new buildings (provided we get the community prizes too)
I cant even play mine, its been starting from the beginning for 2 months now, even with the new updates. Im on lvl 53 and cant play!! Im so mad.
Uninstall the game then reinstall it. This usually works for me when that happens.
I delayed finishing my daily task from yesterday so with a 1200 pennant jumpstart I’ll be close to getting the testosterzone tonight. I also figured out that by hiding a couple of boxes of fireworks behind my stadium I can give myself a show whenever someone scores a touchdown/basket/run/strike/or a bull is killed!

Unless EA do something about changing the ammount of stuff for the comunity prizes the whole comunity idea will have been a waste of time. I know you have been saying wait it will work out, but still only 10% towards the second prize and it is nearly 2 thirds in, they are leaving it pretty late, besides this have enjoyed doing the rest.
This is one of those issues that really leave you wondering about the EA developers/programmers. Did any one there “do the math” when they were putting the community prize schedule together??
Seems like someone used a 10,000 multiplier instead of a 10.
The bloggers here have more or less said that it is rigged, EA will just change the numbers in order that the prizes are given. So we’re aiming at a meaningless target anyway.

Do you guys know yet if matador grandpa has more than 2 permeant tasks? I bought him this morning and was shocked to see only 2 tasks associated him…a 4 hour & 1 hour…but he’s on a 12 hour one now but like a lot of tasks during events its one and done.

Love all the work you guys do, but… Just hate the newly added/auto-playing ads in the middle of your pages! I know you gotta make your money for the site, but can we stop the auto playing ads? I’ve been in a few places where I “checked in” with you guys, just to be startled by the ad playing aloud where I hadn’t expected it.

We have zero control over the ads, word press places them and decides which kind of ads to place.
For me, the ads are based on sites I was online shopping at (I didn’t make a purchase and ALDO ads are now everywhere for me LOL).
Might be based on search history and what they think you’ll like. Clearing your history may change what ads pop up. If mine is clear, I get the generic view the top 10 pics ads.
Off topic, I may actually pick up those 50% off slingbacks they keep taunting me with. Staying strong so far 😉
I don’t like the video ads either. The one good thing with these ones is that, if you scroll them off the screen they stop playing. That’s better than on a lot of sites…I’ve been in some sites where the audio doesn’t even stop for several seconds after you close the window (or even the browser) down altogether!
